"Twilight" actress Anna Kendrick has a clever friend who's not above impersonating an "Eclipse" actor to make out with unsuspecting prey, so next time someone walks up you at a club telling you they've been filming with David Slade recently, double-check IMDb. Slade, meanwhile, announced an "official" wrap to "Eclipse" filming yesterday, following last week's tweeted wrap by Christian Serratos.
Elsewhere in Twitter-Wood, Rob Zombie noted the passing of former Danzig drummer Chuck Biscuits with a memorial post. The World Series had much of Twitter's attention as Ice-T captured a picture from the stands and Paul Feig pondered the art sunflower seed spitting. You can catch all of that, a Dalek and Emmy Rossum's Ferragamo dress fears after the jump in the Twitter-Wood report for October 29, 2009. Read more...
In the clip below, we see the natural evolution of a young boy's pursuit of video game high scores to a career man's pursuit of frequent flyer high scores. "Up in the Air," directed by Jason Reitman, stars George Clooney as Ryan Bingham, a hard-traveling corporate soldier who has a singular goal. In the clip below, he shares that dream -- of earning 10 million frequent flyer miles -- with fellow traveler Natalie, played by "Twilight actress Anna Kendrick. Natalie wisely characterizes the pursuit as a grown man's pissing contest, which is exactly what it is when you get right down to it.
Though Patrick Swayze's extensive career prompted massive tweeting about "Dirty Dancing," "Point Break" and "Ghost" today, it's important not to forget some of his less prominent contributions from "Donnie Darko" and "Saturday Night Live." Richard Kelly and Seth Meyers were just two of the many mourners who showed up in the Twitter-Wood feed to share such memories.
Swayze's death wasn't the only tragedy to appear today, though, as Jessica Simpson's dog Daisy was apparently kidnapped by a coyote. The actress and singer posted a worried pick of the missing pooch her account, in case anyone finds it. Elsewhere, "Eclipse" filming continues and you can find tweets from director David Slade as well as actors Peter Facinelli and Anna Kendrick below. They're in the Twitter-Wood report for September 15, 2009. Read more...

Jason Reitman's "Juno" follow-up, "Up in the Air," will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival next month. As a fan of the Oscar-winning pregnant teen dramedy and of the Reitman family in general, I'm definitely looking forward to checking it out. Star George Clooney is another selling point for what sounds an awful lot like an offbeat love story.
Clooney stars as Ryan Bingham, a dreaded corporate axeman who very much enjoys his jetsetting, constantly-on-the-move lifestyle. Just shy of earning his long-awaited 10 millionth frequent flyer mile, Bingham's single lifestyle is disrupted after he meets a fellow frequent flyer (Anna Kendrick) whom he clicks with. At least I think that's what it's about. It doesn't really matter; Clooney playing a Reitman-penned character is all that's necessary to sell me on this one. Read more...
The lines between celebrities and fans get thrown out the window in many cases at Comic-Con, and posts in the Twitter-Wood feed over the last few days have offered some great insight into who's gushing over whom. Today, Kevin Smith gets sappy about Neil Gaiman, Tyrese gets starry eyed about Jim Lee, and the "Twilight" crew was just happy to show up. I plucked a few pictures and tweets to illustrate.
Comic-Con International is only halfway over, though, and plenty more celebs are just now arriving at the party. "Iron Man 2" director Jon Favreau and Robert Rodriguez can be counted among them. Shoot on down below, and you'll catch details from them, Tom Felton's bizarre encounter at his car, and Wil Wheaton's candid take on Hollywood folks on the show floor. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for July 24, 2009. Read more...

Note to young actors and actresses everywhere: start working to snag yourself a part in "New Moon," because "Twilight" will be the best thing to happen to your career.
On Monday, we brought you news of Cam Gigandet's new movie, "Five Star Day," now it's Anna Kendrick's turn to make headlines. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kendrick will be starring in the comedy "Up in the Air," opposite none other than George Clooney, and directed by Jason Reitman. Read more...
Happy "One Month Until Twilight" Day, everybody! Today's "Twilight" Tuesday shines a spotlight on Anna Kendrick, a talented actress who is so down-to-earth that she's definitely…well, part of a 20-way-tie for my favorite actor in the upcoming movie.
Believe it or not, there are still some "Twilight" haters out there trying to stir the pot. And as the series' young stars continue to grow in fame, I'm sure we'll hear even more stories trying to invent feuds between them.
"My mom tells me this stuff and I wish she didn't," laughed Kendrick when we spoke with her, discussing a rumored rift between herself and Kristen Stewart. "But she reads everything, and you know, she is my mom! She was like, 'Somebody said that you were mean on set,' and I was actually like horrified, you know? Maybe I was having a bad day, and did I take it out on the wrong person? I felt so awful." Read more...
