If there's one thing cool about Comic-Con, it's the hugely eclectic group of celebrities that the event attracts. Case in point the stars of the upcoming animated comedy "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs," the lovely Anna Faris, "SNL" star Andy Samberg and "Role Models" rookie Bobbe Thompson.
The trio agreed to snap a photo in our booth, and it's below for your viewing pleasure. Don't forget to click here to browse the rest of our photo booth gallery, which includes Natasha Henstridge and Stan Lee.

One of the more amusing moments from last night's MTV Movie Awards -- of those that had nothing to do with Eminem, that is -- came when Andy Samberg faked out the viewing audience with his own take on the "New Moon" trailer (which debuted last night).
Samberg probably isn't hoping to impress any casting directors working on the "Twilight" saga, as his vampire appears to come more from the Dracula school of blood-sucking. Still, this trailer looks like my kind of "Twilight" movie, featuring garlic, basketball and a showdown with "Teen Wolf"! I wonder, how many of you viewers got that particular reference?
With the MTV Movie Awards just hours away (they begin at 9 p.m. ET), many of you may be wondering if show host Andy Samberg will sing any of his (in?)famous and hilarious songs from his "Saturday Night Live" digital shorts. The answer is both yes and no.
Andy, thanks to the request of a very famous studio audience member who also happens to be a MTV Movie Awards nominee, managed to round up some of his celebrity friends for a Lonely Island medley set to air during the show — and these are celebrities you'd never expect to sing any of Andy's songs.
These surprise guests, along with a choir, will sing awesome (we can attest to this, since we saw the rehearsal), operatic versions of hits like "Jizz in my Pants" (sung by a woman you'd never think would sing that song), a duet between two unexpected singers for "Lazy Sunday" and he somehow got one Oscar-winner to come on board for "D--- in a Box." And his recent duet with Justin Timberlake, "Motherlover," also gets some love in the medley. Read more...
Way back in 2005, before Twitter and "Twilight" changed the face of civilization, Jimmy Fallon took the stage as host of the MTV Movie Awards. Little did he know that he'd soon create a comedy superstar. You see, MTV had brought in none other than a little-known comedian named Andy Samberg to join the show's writing team. And it was backstage that Fallon ran into Samberg, and liked him so much that he soon introduced him to "Saturday Night Live" executive producer Lorne Michaels...and the rest is history.

It's a question for the ages: If you had your pick between dating Movie Award nominees Robert Pattinson (Breakthrough Performance Male) and Zac Efron (Best Male Performance), and you absolutely had to choose, who would it be? Well, Twilighters aren't the only ones with an answer to that question -- Movie Awards host Andy Samberg has his favorite as well.
Calling Pattinson more "dangerous" and declaring that Efron is "probably softer, closer to a lady," it's a tight race. Watch the video below to see who Samberg picks and then click here to watch more of our hilarious interview with the "SNL" star.
Universal City, California's Gibson Amphitheatre was just locked tight on account of MTV Movie Awards host Andy Samberg's rehearsal. We busted through the doors to steal a peek anyway. The stage was in full effect, backlit by giant LED monitors crackling with animated lightning bolts and three-dimensional film strips.
Samberg himself was wearing an aqua-blue hoodie with matching Emerica kicks. He was pacing the stage like a hip-hop panther, tossing faux gang signs and dropping freestyle rhymes about someone (we're not saying who, but you wouldn't be wrong if you guessed one of Maxim's Top 100). See for yourself below, and then see it all Sunday night at 9 p.m. ET. Read more...
As anyone familiar with his "SNL" Digital Shorts knows, Andy Samberg is nothing if not unique. Our resident reporter Sway found that out firsthand when he asked Samberg what his preshow ritual will be. Without spoiling his answer, let's just say it involves rappelling equipment and a large vat of Bengay.
FROM THE NEWSROOM: I was always told that it's good to cry, because it helps to release a lot of built-up emotions. It makes it even more gratifying when you cry because you're laughing so hard.
That happened today when I talked to Andy Samberg as he prepares for his hosting gig for the MTV Movie Awards. We met up at the back of the Gibson Amphitheatre on the Universal Studios lot. This is the area where the limos pick up the stars when the show is over. There is also a patio where the stars come to mingle and do press when the festivities end.

If you've seen Andy Samberg's hilarious videos on "Saturday Night Live," you'll know he's more than dedicated to the art of comedy. So it's with no small surprise that he's taking one for the team as host of the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, and stripping down to the bare necessities.
You can get a sneak peek of what he's got in store for audiences in the video below, and then catch him live on Sunday, May 31 at 9 p.m. ET for the Movie Awards. And to get more behind the scenes vids, click here.
Here we have the last in a string of promos pimping 2009 MTV Movie Awards host Andy Samberg's guaranteed landslide. 11 categories, 11 statues for Mr. Samberg. There's even talk that he might put the smackdown on Generation Award winner Ben Stiller after the show and take that one too, but you didn't hear it from me.
Samberg certainly has the skills to get what he wants. Just check out this clip from "Gentle Dismemberment" featuring Rashida Jones. He doesn't even need to slaughter his victims; they know how bad he is. Dude's just that evil. Plus: Best. Moustache. Ever. Guaranteed win for Best Villain.
