Fast FiveAfter months of promotion (it felt like years), "The Voice" finally premiered last night to huge numbers. During the show, the twitter-verse exploded, and tweet-shrapnel came from every which way, including Hollywood.

Meanwhile, the opening of "Thor" mightily approaches, and actress/singer Miley Cyrus wants in. While she's not billed for the film, Miley posted her own addition to the superhero epic. We have a feeling it's not going to make the final cut, but hey, here's hoping. All this and "Fast Five" is already receiving rave reviews -- and one outlet just doesn't get it.

Green LanternThis week's "Green Lantern" trailer has been out in the world long enough to attract a range of reactions for the comics and mainstream crowds alike. Read what you will into James Gunn's assessment of the film, but he seems to think it would be better suited for Syfy.

As for the big theatrical release of the week, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" continues to be a hot topic in the Twitter-Wood feed. Brian Lynch and Andy Milonakis engaged in a deep exchange about the film's earnings, while Ben Stiller's been working on top of a building and Penn Jillette got up close and personal with a jacket that belonged to Harry Houdini. Those posts and more await you down below.

Conan O'BrienMany people were thankful for Conan O'Brien's return to late-night television Monday night via TBS, but not nearly enough viewers appreciated the event first and foremost for the great Larry King TwitPic post that it made possible. King was one of a few outstanding image-sharers earning spots on our highlight reel today. Others receiving the honor include Andy Milonakis with Snoop Dogg, and a shot that may make you wish you were drinking with Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Florence and the Machine yesterday.

Their enthusiasm was nearly matched by Michelle Rodriguez, who joined Ice-T in committing to acquiring "Call of Duty: Black Ops" (she came close enough to identifying its rightful name). Unfortunately, Chloe Moretz won't be able to play it, but if she were older it would be on her to-do list. Check out those tweets, plus Darren Bousman getting sentimental about his "Saw" experiences, down below.

Justin BieberIt's only normal to see some complaints about election outcomes the day after, but Frankie Muniz intends to do something about his dissatisfaction. According to an update on his Twitter account from yesterday, someone tried planting some campaign signs on his lawn, but he caught them on tape in the act. Andy Milonakis, meanwhile, was much more resentful that Prop 19 failed to pass in California, and Judd Apatow thinks yesterday's results across the country will largely benefit the comedy industry.

The last 24 hours haven't been without their photo ops, either, as Sofia Vergara ran into Justin Bieber, and David Wain claims to have a shot with Jennifer Aniston, though I can't vouch for that just looking at it. Judge for yourself after the jump where you'll also see which films Kevin Smith and Ludacris have been working on.

Jon Favreau evidently keeps great cookies around at the "Cowboys and Aliens" rehearsal room. That's what Olivia Wilde tweeted, anyhow, and she's hoping they don't impact her ability to put on the super-tight costumes used in "Tron Legacy."

Elsewhere, MTV Movie Award nominations have been released, and both Tom Felton and Ken Jeong were tweetably enthused to be on the ballots. They were just as thankful as David Lynch's friend surely was to have received a handcrafted box from the "Mulholland Dr." director. Click on past the jump to see what it looks like and find out what Autumn Reeser thought of Casey James "Mrs. Robinson" performance on "American Idol." Hip-hop and jazz innovator Guru, who was best known as half of the duo Gang Starr, shocked a noticeable contingent in Twitter-Wood today as news of his death at the age of 43 traveled around. Ice-T, Andy Milonakis and Mark Webber were among those posting condolences.

Kevin Spacey had some good fortune to tweet about though. Apparently he's been waiting out travel delays over the last week caused by the volcano in Iceland, but finally got mobile again. You can check out what he had to say after the jump along with how "Toy Story 3" won't be like the next iPhone and what Chris Kattan thinks Al-Qaeda's favorite movie is in Twitter-Wood for April 20th, 2010. Twitter-Wood had heaps of knowledge to impart today, and movie trivia collectors will want to take note of the "Clash of the Titans"/"Hot Fuzz" connection cited by Edgar Wright, as well as Emmy Rossum's real name. That's right, Emmy is short for something else, and I never would have had the spelling right in a million years were it not for her Twitter account.

In other conversations, Ricky Martin's sexual orientation predictably became a celebrity topic of choice after he announced on his website that he is "a fortunate homosexual man." Check out who was interested, who wasn't and who caught a shot of Fergie at a Black Eyed Peas concert. It all shows up in Twitter-Wood for March 30th, 2010. Read More...

Jamie Chung saw this coming a week ago. A 4.4 earthquake hit Los Angeles this morning, and I though she didn't seem to notice on her account, it registered with other faces in Twitter-Wood like Samm Levine, Alison Brie and Tyrese Gibson.

Aziz Ansari probably slept through it, though, as his recent postings indicate he was up late watching the "Twilight" movies. You can check out his reaction to a "New Moon" spoiler below. After the jump, you can also read Fred Durst's manicure advice for Tyra Banks and a tip for Best Buy from Steve Agee. It's in Twitter-Wood for 16th, 2010. Read More...

If someone in the Twitter-Wood feed hasn't tweeted a link to an organization accepting donations for Haiti, they've probably posted a question asking where they can donate, as "Twilight" actor Alex Meraz did today. His "New Moon" co-star Rachelle Lefevre, meanwhile, sent TwitcPic'd a shot straight from the blood center where she want to donate some blood. Yet another "Twilight"-er, Ashley Green posted a pic as well, but I really can tell you much more about it beyond the fact that she's wearing a crown.

The other big stories of the week remained all over the feed today. Andy Milonakis praised Jimmy Kimmel's contributions to the Leno and Conan debacle, while another actor revealed who made him cry during "American Idol." Find out who that was, as well as who took home a gift from the wrap for Michel Gondry's "Green Hornet" and what Lee Unkrich had to say about his last day at "Toy Story 3" production with a full crew and animators. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for January 15, 2010. Read More...

Ice-T had some harsh words for Bill O'Reilly today in his Twitter feed following O'Reilly's displeasure on FOX News regarding this week's episode of "Law & Order: SVU." In addition to dropping an F-bomb a few hours ago, the actor expressed his full support for writer Dick Wolf, who O'Reilly lashed out at for using his name in an unflattering manner on the show.

Elsewhere in Twitter-Wood, "Eclipse" director David Slade came out of hiding with an update on how the film is coming along. In addition to revealing a composer will be selected shortly, he characterized the way he wants Edward, Bella and Jacob to appear. Check out those posts after the jump along with Andy Milonakis' favorite new Android app and shot of Denise Richards' tattoo. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter Report for December 11, 2009.
