Yankees supporters were out in force last night, and a few Twitter-Wood citizens were right by the field uploading pics. Brody Stevens may have shot the most enviable of the day, apparently getting soon-to-be-MVP Hideki Matsui in the dugout before the game. Jeremy Piven caught another high-quality photo-op, though, standing with his fellow Chicagoan Brian Urlacher.
Poor John Favreau was stuck in the editing room for "Iron Man 2," though, which he noted on his account. Larry King, Eliza Dushku and other added their thoughts after Phillies finally went down. Check out all of their tweets, along with Brett Ratner's pic with Mariah Carey after wrapping her video and Andy Milonakis. They're all in the Twitter-Wood report for November 5, 2009. Read more...
Barack Obama has at least one passionate backer in Twitter-Wood for his Chicago Olympics pitch. Jeremy Piven tweeted support for his home city today, as the International Olympic Committee makes its final decision in Copenhagen. John Cusack, meanwhile, continued his intercontinental rounds and tweets today upon leaving North Korea for Japan, though it's anyone's guess how he got in there in the first place.
In lighter tweetage, "Twilight" actor Justin Chon continued his TwitPic marathon, Christopher Mintz-Plasse took a shot of his sleeping dad, and Miley Cyrus showed what her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus does to cheer her up when she's down. They're all in an unexpected Father Appreciation Special today. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter-Wood report for September 30, 2009. Read more...

Yesterday was a big day for Pee Wee Herman fans. Paul Reubens appeared on "The Jay Leno Show" the night before in the guise of his alter-ego, for starters. There was also the long-time-coming creation of an official Twitter account for @peeweeherman. In other words, Pee Wee is back and he's here with us in cyberspace. The word of the day is... "awesome."
The sudden Pee Wee resurgence led to a rush of of responses from around the Internet. Today's Daily TwitPic is one of those responses, from comedian and MTV veteran Andy Milonakis. In the image after the jump you can see a very messy -- and very excited -- Milonakis posing with Reubens and a handful of red licorice. Read more...
It was an epic day of awkward headshots in the Twitter-Wood feed today, so go click on the photo links knowing full well that you are about to see some rare sights. Pee Wee Herman, Paul Reubens' recently revived alter-ego earned top honors for a shot posted by Andy Milonakis, but Alyson Hannigan, Danny DeVito and Ice-T all jumped in the running too.
None of them, however, openly invited New Yorkers to walk up to them on the street and receive a kiss, though, which is cannot be said of Simon Pegg. You can find a link to that warm proposition along with Rachelle Lefevre's thoughts on "The Biggest Loser" and Rose McGowan's take on getting beat up. There's all in the mix for the September 23 Twitter-Wood report. Read more...
If the mountain of awards "Twilight" and Robert Pattinson brought in over the weekend at the Teen Choice Awards didn't given him enough to celebrate, Miley Cyrus got giddy about the hug they shared. Wrapping her arms around him evidently gave Miley enough reason to retract any offensive tweets she's made about him in the past. It was also enough to top today's Twitter-Wood report.
Among the other tidbits I picked out for all of you today, Aziz Ansari issued a tweet disputing that he ever voiced a Hillshire Farms commercial, as well as Tyrese Gibson's new haircut and Paris Hilton's run-in with Joel Silver. Check out all of those and a badass birthday toast that "Law & Order: SVU" fans will love in my Twitter Pic of the Day. Read more...
Few directors produce a body of work that syncs with a decade as well as John Hughes' work did with the 1980s. From "Sixteen Candles" to "Ferris Bueller's " and "The Breakfast Club," he gave everyone who ever lived through high school someone to relate to. His power wasn't lost on on filmgoers or today's filmmakers, both of whom inhabit the Twitter-Wood follow list.
Filmmakers including Kevin Smith and Diablo Cody, who both picked up the plight of the high school misanthrope from Hughes, as well as other stars like Rainn Wilson and Eliza Dushku tweeted in with their memories of Hughes' movies this afternoon, and many of them recalled what it was like come to his movies in the middle of the same kinds of real-life melodramas that he tackled. Nick Jasenovec and Charlyne Yi's new movie "Paper Heart" got lots of love from the Twitter-Wood feed following its premiere last night -- though the best post thus far comes from the film's own Twitter account, which linked to this picture of Yi with actress and perennially gonzo social event cornerstone Bai Ling. Other attendees, judging from today's tweets, included "Twilight" actress Christian Serratos, Andy Milonakis and Jason Reitman.
In other tweetage, Rainn Wilson shared his unique perspective on "The Incredible Hulk," Jon Favreau switched gears back to acting for his new film "Couples Retreat" and Paris Hilton revealed the name of her new pet, which I predict is way more decadent the the name of your pet. Below, you may feast your eyes on all of these, as well as a potentially shocking confession from Rose McGowan. It's in the Twitter-Wood report for July 29, 2009. Read more...
Michael Jackson's death dominated tweets two weeks ago, and his memorial service today was no different. Reactions were mixed in the Twitter-Wood feed, but dependable tweeter Tyrese Gibson returned to his account with a shot from the service at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Paris Hilton, Andy Milonakis and producer Jeff Katz were also among those sharing their thoughts.
There was plenty of pep elswhere in the Hollywood Twitterverse though. Emma Watson showed up to Tweet about her thoughts going into the "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" premiere and Rose McGowan shared a pic of her puppy, who is apparently celebrating a birthday today. Check out all of this and the questionable shake that Miley Cyrus swears is delicious in the Twitter-Wood report for July 7, 2009. Read more...

The faces of the Twitter-Wood feed let their maple leaves fly high today for Canada Day, with William Shatner and "Twilight" actress Rachelle Lefevre among those wearing Canadian pride on their tweets. Their home and native land must have felt very loved.
The American Twitter delegation was busy as well, though, with Diablo Cody contemplating a Billy Idol-ish makeover. Chiming in with advice was none other than Andy Milonakis. Click on downward and you'll find their exchange, some "Twilight"-style vampire baseball for charity being played, and a tweet from Steven Spielberg's to-do list in the Twitter-Wood report for July 1, 2009. Has the bad economy cramped your vacation plans this summer? Well, today in Twitter-Wood you can feel free to live vicariously through Paris Hilton's trip to Dubai, Fred Durst's continuing adventures in Poland, and Diablo Cody's plans to hit up Dollywood. Did you know that Dollywood was still open? Because I didn't.
There were plenty of follow-up tweets today, too, picking up where we left off with Tom Felton's hair-dying for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows" the collective Twitterverse's reactions to "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen." Andy Milonakis, meanwhile, get a hat-tip for audio tweet of the day with his personal contribution to the online Perez Hilton/will.i.am conversation. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter-Wood report for June 24, 2009. Read more...
