It's a special night when you do something that causes Tom Hanks to say "You're creeping me out," but then you've never seen me act like an imbecile on a star-studded red carpet. If you're like me, your mind boggles at the insipid red carpet reporters who fawn over celebs (Nancy O'Dell, I am looking at you!), so it seemed like an NYC event for "Charlie Wilson's War" was a great opportunity to jibber jabber like the village idiot in front of the likes of Hanks and Philip Seymour Hoffman (please note how far he stands from me and anguished he looks at the decision to stop and chat).

Enjoy. Cringe. Do what comes naturally.

'Enchanted' PosterWith Disney's "Enchanted" poised for a happily ever after at the box-office, director Kevin Lima is already talking sequel.

Good thing for him, co-star Patrick Dempsey already has a title. "It should be 'Disenchanted,' right?" Dempsey guffawed. "[Princess Giselle] puts on way too much weight after the pregnancy and she wants to go back to Andalasia where she was perfect. She's like 'I can't deal with it anymore!'"

It's a racy notion, but one that's somehow conceivable if Disney ever actually took the logic of "Enchanted," where a fairy tale princess learns about life in the "real world," and followed it strictly to its inevitable conclusion.

"Could you imagine?" Dempsey asked, still laughing. "'What is this? What's coming out of me? This doesn't happen in Andalasia - the babies just appear! Right? That'd be funny!" Read more...

James MarsdenShrek this. Shrek that. The irascible green ogre didn't invent the fractured fairy tale, but he sure has heck perfected it. Now after three "Shreks" and even a "Hoodwinked!" the studio that molded the modern fairy tale is out to tweak their Happily Ever Afters, and boy do they have a lot of ammunition, laughed James Marsden.

"Disney went back to 'Snow White' [and] 'Sleeping Beauty,' the sort of classic fairytale animation, and then thrust those characters into present day, live-action New York City," Marsden said of "Enchanted," the story of a fairy tale princess (Amy Adams), who gets banished to the real world. "The first 15 minutes is traditional animation. [After that] you get the juxtaposition of these idealistic princesses and princes in this cynical world - running around Manhattan trying to find each other and get back to [their] world."
