All the great masters crib ideas from others: "Casablanca" was adapted from a failed play, "Hamlet" from a Norse work called "Ur-Hamlet" (subtle work with the title there, Shakespeare), but could Michel Gondry have stolen the idea for "Be Kind, Rewind" from…Amanda Bynes?

That's the rumor going around today after an 8-year-old clip from her eponymous Nickelodeon comedy show began circulating around the interwebs. The two-minute clip basically shows Amanda working behind a video store counter, repeatedly telling customers that their versions of rented movies (which she has sweded with her brother) are "better" than the originals. So yeah, it's got a video store, shabby looking remade movies by the staff, and some complaining customers.

Which all adds up to…nothing. Absolutely nothing. Read more...

Amanda Bynes finds her Prince Charming (Matt Long) in this exclusive first look at the Snow White-inspired romantic comedy. The film opened last Friday.

Just because the show was over, that didn't mean the stars were going home. The proverbial after-parties took center stage in Hollywood last night, post-MTV Movie Awards. We hit the clubs and report back with our exclusive observations.

A couple of the "Fantastic Four" cast -- we'll call them the Terrific Two -- Chris Evans and Ioan Gruffudd partied at the official MTV function held at Universal Studios. Porno King Ron Jeremy and "Hairspray" star Amanda Bynes were also in attendance. Over at Sugar, they sure were shady at the door to Rihanna's party. The doormen irritated Jay-Z when he was trying to make his entrance and even made that sexy Nicole from the Pussycat Dolls wait several minutes to enter.

Inside, the woman of the night -- Rihanna -- shunned the VIP section in favor of showing off her drop-dead, any-guy-would-want-to-marry-me-now-knockout red dress. On the dance floor, she danced to her own music, Sean Paul and Beyonce. Meanwhile, another cutie was in the building: "Entourage" member Lauren London. Funnyman Chris Tucker cooled out with Giant Magazine Editor-in-Chief Smokey Fontaine (Giant sponsored the party in celebration of Rihanna being their current covergirl) and another jokester, Guy Torre, was seen shaking hands and rubbing shoulders as well.

The best celebrity-sighting spot of the entire night may have been the limo line out back of the Gibson Amphitheatre. Eva Mendes and John Krasinski stood by alongside Amanda Bynes, while civilians (a.k.a. VIPs and publicists) tried to find their rides home. As a wrangler barked out celebrity names through a bullhorn, Justin Long screamed back "Gerard Butler? Yeah, that's me!"; Kevin Smith kept smoking cigarettes; and in the middle of it all, a candid moment between Arielle Kebbel and Jon Voight turned into the bizarre photo opportunity of John Travolta, Voight and Tyrese together (pictured below). Krasinski walked past Long and teased, "Hey, it's that Mac guy!" while "Saw" villain Tobin Bell discovered a horrific scene of his own. "I'm seeing a huge line of cars," he reported sullenly into his cell phone. When all was said and done, the best idea belonged to people like Voight and Three 6 Mafia, who took golf-cart rides to vehicles they had cleverly stashed in the adjoining Universal Studios parking lots. ...

Who are those famous celebs talking to when you see them on television? We're crawling the red carpet to find out.

Amanda Bynes: "I'm talking to my sister, who's also on the carpet. We're gossiping about everybody!"
