Between Elizabeth Edwards' death and the anniversary of John Lennon's passing this week, the Twitter-Wood feed has been filled with condolences and memorial posts. Simon Pegg noted Lennon's legacy today, while Michael Moore, Alyssa Milano and Paris Hilton all shared their thoughts on Edwards' life.
Elsewhere, Eli Roth finally made it around to seeing the "Simpsons" "Inglourious Basterds" parody he was itching to find earlier this week, while Jeremy Piven hung out with some people in crazy masks. It's all documented along with Damon Lindelof's reaction to "Tron: Legacy."

Reactions were bouncing around Twitter-Wood all day regarding The Beatles finally appearing on iTunes. Alyssa Milano offered a rebuttal to apathetic critics, while the creator of the "Scott Pilgrim" books unearthed a surprise.
Feeling about the TSA body scanners showing up at airports have prompted considerably stronger responses, meanwhile. Duncan Jones and Stephen Colbert sounded off with their thoughts, and Edgar Wright discussed what he could and could not mention regarding his opinion on "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1." Get a taste of what's in store when it comes out next week down below; you'll also find out who ran into the Rock and who's been hanging out with NPH on the "HIMYM" set.

The Farelly brothers' gigantic cast for "Hall Pass" didn't stop anyone from cutting the new comedy down into a traditional trailer. That trailer is now ready to walk out into public and see if the guys who made "There's Something About Mary," "Kingpin" and "Dumb & Dumber" can return to form with a movie that fundamentally feels like they set out to make a version of "The Hangover" where everyone's already married.
Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis handle the two lead roles in this tale about husbands whose wives give them a temporary "hall pass" to do whatever they want (i.e. bed as many women as possible) before resuming their regularly scheduled married lives. Jenna Fischer, Richard Jenkins, Christina Applegate and Alyssa Milano join them on screen, and the new trailer doesn't spotlight many success stories. Check out the trailer after the jump. The cast of "Community" kept their tweet feeds lively last night with a few behind-the-scenes shots from their Halloween episode. It butted heads schedule-wise with Game 2 of the World Series, though, where Rose McGowan returned once again to support the Giants, prompting Alyssa Milano to ask why she wasn't a baseball fan when they worked together on "Charmed."
Elsewhere, Eli Roth was amused by the Charlie Chaplin time traveler theories that have been floating around. You'll find his thoughts along with pics of 50 Cent with Robert Redford and Sarah Silverman having a good time with Kathy Griffin after the jump.

Some of the tweets were serious and some were less so today, as Stephen Colbert made headlines testifying before a House subcommittee. Pop singer Eddie Fisher's death also resonated in Twitter-Wood, with his daughter Carrie Fisher commemorating him with a post and Alyssa Milano among those sending condolences.
Last night's new episode of "Community" brought some smiles, though, and actress Yvette Nicole Brown shared a look at Donald Glover's Spider-Man duds from her account. Check out what he looked like down below along with David Hasselhoff's words of sympathy for Lindsay Lohan and a shot of Neil Gaiman on the "Doctor Who" set.

Twitter-Wood's been lively today, and the Report has pictures to prove it. Actress Ana de la Reguera shared a look at her makeup job for Jon Favreau's "Cowboys and Aliens," while Jim Gaffigan hung out with Zach Galifianakis and "Weird Al" Yankovic found a knife you probably didn't expect to see today.
The folks behind the scenes at Twitter pulled off a new look for their site, and Alyssa Milano offered a critique. Meanwhile, the changes haven't been enough to scare newcomer Steve Martin, who posted a quick banjo story. Find out out more about that down below.

Pastor Terry Jones has been on the receiving end of numerous complaints in Twitter-Wood today, thanks to Quran-burning event he's decided hold with his Florida-based church. Tweeters also have not overlooked the Monty Python member he happens to share a name with.
In "Twilight"-related posting, Peter Facinelli announced his return to costume fittings for "Breaking Dawn." Two of his cast-mates, meanwhile, were focused on Justin Chon's new hairstyle. You can find out what that looks like after the jump, as well as where "Transformers 3" is headed and how much fan mail "Weird Al" Yankovic has saved from the 1980s.

I don't know how much weight you should necessarily give to James Urbaniak's commentary on Al and Tipper Gore's reported break-up, but the topic has been trending on Twitter this afternoon, and the "Venture Bros." actor claims to know who the former Vice President will be visiting soon.
On the movies front, the new "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" trailer has been turning some heads. Director Edgar Wright has a few accomplishments displayed therein which he hopes you'll appreciate. You may also appreciate another look at the "Smurfs" set which showed up in Sofia Vergara's feed, as well as shots of "Twilight" actress Christian Serratos kissing a tiny animal and a Weezer band member caught in the wild.

Gary Coleman's death stirred up posts throughout Twitter-Wood this afternoon, both with positive remembrances and commentary on the lifelong issues that childhood actors can face. Ashton Kutcher, Shannon Elizabeth, Tom Arnold and Eliza Dushku counted themselves among Coleman's fans, and many others acknowledged their appreciation for his work as Arnold on "Diff'rent Strokes."
John Stamos touched on the more serious issues in Coleman's in life in his Twitter note, and Ken Jeong and Jon Hurwitz both left simpler notes. Click on past the jump and you can find out who else posted about Coleman. Feel free to leave your own responses and memories in the comment section.

UPDATE: Internet weirdness left this post out of yesterday's publish, despite the fact that it WAS actually published. So... enjoy your day late Twitter-Wood, and keep an eye out for TODAY'S Twitter-Wood later!
Super Saver may have won the 2010 Kentucky Derby, but Fran Drescher won today's Twitter Pic of the Day with her Audrey Hepburn homage and modest hat for the event. Rain was not enough to scare her away from the race or the camera, it would appear.
A few tweets in the feed were decidedly less upbeat, though, as word broke that Oscar-nominated actress Lynn Redgrave passed away. An array of post from Alyssa Milano and Brody Stevens to Virginia Madsen and Denise Richards shared Twitter-Wood's collective reactions to her death. You can read a few of them after the jump, where you'll also find a quick update on "The Last Airbender" and Ashton Kutcher's advice to potential iPad buyers.
