Naturally, Robert Rodriguez's "Predator" relaunch has been the focus of speculation ever since it was announced this past spring. With the "Grindhouse" director keeping purely to a producing role, speculation has been rampant as to who would take the director's chair. Neil Marshall ("Doomsday") was attached earlier this month, and the possibility that the gore-happy director would tackle the franchise was one that caused rejoicing all over the Internet. But Marshall and Predator are not to be. Instead, Ain't It Cool News has the news straight from Rodriguez that Nimrod Antal will be helming "Predators."
Antal isn't as widely known as Marshall, but he has the fine "Kontroll" and "Vacancy" under his belt, and "Armored" hitting theaters this December. He's shown a talent for tight, terrifying films so far, and is widely buzzed to be The Next Big Name if only he could get a project with a nice, big budget.

He played a villainous vampire in “Twilight” and has won Best Fight at the MTV Movie Awards two years running -- so, it’s safe to say we all know that Cam Gigandet is a really good bad boy. Currently, the in-demand star is hard at work on “Easy A,” a comedic spin on “The Scarlet Letter” that has him setting aside the vampire attire and instead cloaking himself in mortality and school clothes.
“The whole idea is that people [develop] their personas in high school,” Gigandet explained about the film, which stars Emma Stone as a modern-day Hester Prynne, the “Scarlet” outcast forced to wear a red “A” to mark her shame. “Whether that’s true or not, you never know until afterwards. Reese Witherspoon is going to play a drug dealer... but not the kind that runs drugs across borders or deals in shady corners. She'll instead be the kind who deals out prescription meds at the pharmacy counter. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Witherspoon is taking the lead in the cleverly titled "Pharm Girl," and will be producing it under her Type A banner.
The story centers on a woman who gets a job at a top pharmaceutical company, and rises quickly through the ranks, probably after doing her time hawking drugs, pens and pads to doctors and hospitals all across our great nation.
