Love is a drug, and it's one we're getting addicted to in this exclusive clip from "Sucker Punch," which arrives on Blu-ray and DVD next Tuesday (June 28).

MTV News has an exclusive first look at the dance sequence within Zack Snyder's latest. The sexy scene shows a whole lot of seductive dancing between Blue (Oscar Isaac) and Vera (Carla Gugino) to the tune of "Love Is The Drug." Cut into that cabaret-like sequence are shots of Rocket (Jena Malone), Sweet Pea (Abbie Cornish), Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens) and Amber (Jamie Chung) strutting their stuff on the stage while Baby Doll (Emily Browning) hangs in the background.

Zack Snyder's long-awaited cinematic mind-trip "Sucker Punch" finally hits theaters this Friday. At the center of the story are five women, all of them inmates at the fictional Lennox House for the Mentally Insane. They're also exotic dancers, and ass-kicking warriors as well. The film's most intense action unfolds in a sort of fantasy reality. The less said about it here, the better; what you need to know is that each of the five Lennox inmates get to show off their particular talents during these sequences.

To get you in the mood for Friday's release, we're profiling each one right here on MTV Movies Blog all week. We've already highlighted Amber (Jamie Chung) and Rocket (Jena Malone), and today we're showcasing Rocket's big sister, Sweet Pea, played by Abbie Cornish.

LimitlessIf the mind is the scene of the crime in "Inception," the tagline takes on a whole new meaning in "Limitless."

The brain-bending thriller, which arrives in theaters on March 18, follows struggling novelist Eddie Morra (Bradley Cooper). When he comes into contact with a new experimental drug called NZT, his previously bleak future suddenly becomes much brighter: the drug allows him full access to all of his brainpower, leading to a much more successful existence than the one he's currently enjoying.

But success is not without its limits, despite what the film's title suggests. Both Morra and the audience will learn this lesson the hard way when "Limitless" hits screens. The movie's release is still some weeks away, but for now, we've got an exclusive first look at two new photos from the forthcoming thriller. Check them out past the jump!

Following up last year's "Bright Star," Abbie Cornish is moving forward with yet another period piece. This one's a little more modern however, and it's being directed by none other than Madonna. According to Variety, the young actress will star in "W.E.," a film about the scandalous 1936 marriage of Wallis Simpson, an American socialite, to King Edward VIII, who had to give up his crown as a result.

Last month, when we first reported on Madonna's film, "Up in the Air" Oscar nominee Vera Farmiga was reportedly interested in the part. Even she wasn't quite old enough to play Simpson, who was 40 at the time of her wedding to Edward. Yet the 27-year-old Cornish seems even less appropriate for the role. Honestly, I'm still unclear why Madonna wouldn't play Simpson, despite being a little on the older side. Supposedly she's as passionate about this project as she was about "Evita," and she starred in that. Read More...

I've got a special treat for y'all in lieu of this morning's Daily TwitPic. It's an exclusive look at Jane Campion's "Bright Star," which hits theaters on September 18. The movie follows the 19th century poet John Keats (Ben Wishaw) as he meets and falls in love with the woman -- next door neighbor Fanny Brawne (Abbie Cornish) -- who inspires him to write the love poem after which the movie is named. I haven't had an opportunity to check out the movie yet, but Campion is a talented filmmaker and the trailers shows what looks to be a solid period love story.

After the jump, you'll find the full text of the Keats poem for your reading enjoyment and a trio of stills from the upcoming movie. Enjoy! Read More...

Carla GuginoWhat would you rather see Carla Gugino dressed up in: a nurse’s uniform or a madam’s dress/corset? Fortunately for you fanboys, you’ll get both costumes in Zack Snyder’s upcoming “Sucker Punch.” Gugino is reuniting with her “Watchmen” director for the film, in which she’ll play a dual role. Of sorts.

The film takes place in a 1950s mental institution, where a young girl (Emily Browning) has been sent for a lobotomy. However, with the help of her friends (Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone and Abbie Cornish) she enters an alternate reality with hopes of escaping the hospital. Read More...
