This week, MTV.com has run a veritable cornucopia of interview snippets with members of the "New Moon" cast. We'll be talking to the stars -- Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner -- tomorrow (along with everyone else), so think of this week's round of questioning as a palette cleanser, something to whet your appetite in advance of the main course we'll be dishing out over the coming weeks leading to the November 20 release of "New Moon."
MTV reporter Larry Carroll probes cast members Billy Burke, Jamie Campbell Bower, Kellan Lutz, Edi Gathegi and Nikki Reed on a variety of topics, from the musical tastes to what they're spending their "Twilight" paychecks on. Hit the jump for highlights and links to the full articles. Read more...
Not that you die-hard Twilighters need any reminding. I mean, let's be honest here: it's on at least a few of your calendars, right? For anyone who doesn't know, MTV's Ulalume Halloween Festival premieres this Friday, October 30 -- Devil's Night -- at 9pm ET/PT. In addition to musical performances from the likes of Paramore, AFI, Kid Cudi and more, you'll be able to catch a brand new clip from "New Moon." A clip that will be introduced by Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
As if that's not enough, "Twilight" stars Kellan Lutz and Nikki Reed will be on hand to kick off the show, stationed at one of the most notorious haunted houses in the country. Ashley Greene will also participate, dishing on rumors from around the celebrisphere. As for the promised still, you can see a wee bit of it up there on the right. Hit the jump to peep the whole thing. Read more...
Now that's what I'm talking about. You've got your vampires, you've got your werewolves... now bring on the action! "Twilight" casties Kellan Lutz and Jackson Rathbone told MTV that "30 Days of Night" director David Slade's take on "Eclipse," which is days away from shooting, is going to serve up a whole lot more action.
I suppose that anyone who's read the book is already prepared for a more action-packed adventure for Bella, Edward and the rest of the gang. It's news to me though, and it makes me excited about diving in with the series. Yes, that's right: I'm watching "Twilight" for the first time this weekend. I'll share more on the "why" and the "what the hell's taken me, an MTV employee, so long" on Friday, but that's the plan. Check out Lutz and Rathbone on "Eclipse" in the video below and then head over to MTV.com for Larry Carroll's full report!
This is kind of amazing. Here's a video clip of San Diego Comic-Con "Twilight" madness. For those who hadn't heard, there were some special screenings of "Twilight" in San Diego during the show. Kellan Lutz, Peter Facinelli and Taylor Lautner all showed up to surprise the crowd at one of those screenings and the results are... well, they're pretty astonishing. I love the cute bit at the end with the little kid named Jacob in a "Twi"-branded BK hat.
Do any of you ever wonder if the "Twilight" cast members wear earplugs for their public appearances? You Twilighters do worshipful shrieking better than any fanbase I've ever encountered. And I've seen Phish. Big ups for that.
We have complicated tastes here at the MTV Movies Blog. While it’s easy to find a horror website devoted to all things Freddy Krueger, or a Twilighter site breathlessly counting down the days to “New Moon,” you might not see that chocolate-and-peanut-butter combination crossing paths very often in a single place.
That is just one of the reasons why we’re so excited to report on the upcoming “Nightmare on Elm Street” reboot. Because we looooove Freddy, and we also looooove Kellan Lutz. And like any good parent, we could never pick one over the other. Read more...
Vampires on a cruise! When I first heard those magical words, I was thinking this had to be the ultra-short pitch for a brand-new horror flick. But no! It’s for real, it’s “Twilight,” and you even have a chance to join in on the aquatic action.
Come August 8, 2010, the first ever “Twilight” fan cruise will depart from Seattle, bound for the icy waters of Alaska. Jumping aboard for the ride will be “Twilight” stars Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene, who play Cullen family vampires Emmett and Alice. Read more...
"Twilight" stars Kellan Lutz and Edi Gathegi seem to be taking a few days off from their vampire life. And, if you're going to take a break from filming one of the most anticipated films of the fall, you might as well go to beautiful Australia. The boys were in town for the release of the "Twilight" DVD, and they greeted fans at a JB Hi Fi in Sydney.

(Check out more photos from the event in our photo gallery for the Sydney event here.)
What scenes do you think they could be filming back in Canada that these two were free to greet Australian Twilighters? Discuss in the comments below!
On Tuesday afternoon, Summit Entertainment officially released the names of the new “Twilight” stars joining the franchise for this year’s “New Moon,” along with an official confirmation on the return of the Twilighter fan favorites.
But, was someone missing?
“Rejoining the movie are Ashley Greene as Alice, Peter Facinelli as Carlisle, Elizabeth Reaser as Esme,” read the announcement posted on Summit’s website. “Kellan Lutz as Emmett, Nikki Reed as Rosalie, Jackson Rathbone as Jasper , Edi Gathegi as Laurent and Rachelle Lafevre as Victoria.”
Um, hello? Where’s Billy Burke? Read more...
If you're not a Twilighter today, please be patient because there's just a ton of content to sift through today -- what with the DVD coming out over the weekend, the stars of the first flick popping up unannounced all over the country to hype it up, AND "New Moon" about to start filming. It almost feels like a Twilight Tuesday, doesn't it? Over in LA a trio of your favorite stars turned out to tout the DVD and other related paraphenalia. Click on the pic below for even more photos.
You'd think by now we all would have figured out the secret to Robert Pattinson's sex appeal and overwhelming success with the ladies. It's that hair and that smug devil-may-care attitude. That is one very lethal combination.
But, if those reasons weren't enough, his "Twilight" co-star, Kellan Lutz (we should note that Ryan Seacrest thinks Kellan is the better looking Cullen…sacrilegious!), knows the secret to RPattz success. "His accent and his crazy hairdo get the girls swooning. I don’t have those locks," he told Ryan Seacrest on his morning show. Silly us, we forgot all about the accent! Read more...
