There just might be some trouble brewing for Jessica Lange on season two of "American Horror Story." What kind of trouble? The catty kind, which just so happens to be our favorite kind.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, French actress Lizzie Brochere has been confirmed for a part on the second season of the creepy, drama-filled FX series. And, according to sources, she could serve up some trouble for Lange, who will take on a new role as the show takes on a whole new set of story arcs.

TV Line reports that Brochere’s character will go by the name Gia. Sources add that while the role has been revamped a bit, Gia was previously described as a "fierce, ferocious, extremely sexual and dangerous wild-child sexpot, the character—billed as a nemesis for Jessica Lange—was likened to Angelina Jolie in ‘Girl, Interrupted.'"

During MTV News's recent visit to the set of "Skyfall," main baddie Javier Bardem teased that his character, Silva, will give James Bond a run for his money in the upcoming movie, adding that he will be much more than just a cut-and-dry villain.

"I see them more than villains. I see them like people with some circumstances behind them make them act and react the way they do," Bardem explained. "It's not only a sign you have to put on a character like, 'This is a villain.' This is a man who has some trouble going on and he has to cope with that."

Bardem is no stranger to playing villainous roles. The Spanish actor rose to critical acclaim—and won an Academy Award—for his performance in 2007's "No Country For Old Men." But Bardem said that he felt like his role of Silva in "Skyfall" is something that he hasn't portrayed before.

Cabin in the Woods

The anti-spoiler talk around "The Cabin in the Woods" has almost reached self-parody at this point. Twitter user @williambgoss summed it up perfectly when he wrote "You guys probably shouldn't see The Cabin in the Woods this weekend. It's FULL of Cabin in the Woods spoilers."

But all this talk of spoilers is there for a reason. Rarely has the effect of a film relied so heavily on discovering its secrets as the writers intended. Joss Whedon and director Drew Goddard pieced together a brilliantly twisted story that deserves the level of secrecy it has.

So if you're looking to avoid spoilers before checking out "The Cabin in the Woods" this weekend, we've put together a helpful guide.

The lead love interest for Richard LaGravenese's "Beautiful Creatures" — an adaptation of the young adult supernatural romance novel (also a series) by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl — has been replaced. Jack O'Connell has left the project due to scheduling conflicts, and Alden Ehrenreich is stepping in.

The "Twixt" and "Tetro" actor will be starring as Ethan — in love with local girl Lena. Both teens uncover dark secrets about their families and the town they live in. Ethan also happens to have a nasty ex-girlfriend, who enacts some "Mean Girls-style" revenge against Lena. We previously reported that Jeremy Irons is also starring in the film, along with Viola Davis, Emma Thompson, Thomas Mann, and Emmy Rossum. Are you in the mood for a supernatural star-crossed lovers story, or have you had your fill of all things "Twilight-esque" for a while?

Bryan Mills is a man with a very particular set of skills, skills that make him a nightmare for men like go-to Serbian bad guy actor Rade Serbedzija. But does Bryan's daughter, the long-ago abducted Kim Mills, possess those same skills? One certainly hope so, since she'll have to transform herself from victim to hero in the upcoming "Taken" sequel.

Actress Maggie Grace spoke with MTV News about "Taken 2" during the recent "Lockout" junket, and she revealed that, yes, Kim's stepped up her game considerably since getting abducted in the first Liam Neeson-starring action thriller.

"Yeah, the character is a bit more empowered in this one," she told MTV. "You know, she doesn't morph into La Femme Nikita. It's still grounded in the reality of that world. But yeah, she is her father's daughter, and she definitely steps up."

JK Rowling

"Harry Potter" and "The Casual Vacancy" have an author in common. By the sound of it, that's about all they share.

A title, a September 27 release date and brand new plot details for J.K. Rowling's "first novel for adults," titled "The Casual Vacancy," have been announced by The Wall Street Journal. Published by Little, Brown, the book takes place in a small town in England where wars are being fought on all sides. Rowling's no stranger to writing about war as seen in "Potter," but it sounds like she has something very different in mind for her next tale.

As someone who went on record saying the "Hunger Games" movie was better than the "Hunger Games" book, I think you can safely assume that I'm disappointed by Gary Ross' departure from the series. I was greatly looking forward to seeing the director's vision of "Catching Fire" on the big screen, and I'm equally curious to see who Lionsgate taps to take his place. Those are mighty big shoes to fill, after all... though, of course, we have some "Catching Fire" director suggestions to help speed the process along.

While we're all still thinking about Gary-Gate this week, our friends at Hollywood Crush spoke with several "Hunger Games" experts and fans across the blogosphere. Words like "surprised," "shocked," and "upset" were used frequently in discussing Ross' exit from the franchise. Can't say I disagree with those feelings. Get all those reactions and more in the video above.

Django Unchained

When it comes to Quentin Tarantino, you expect a few things. You expect violence, snappy dialogue and a killer soundtrack. For his newest movie, "Django Unchained," Tarantino promised a western in the style of Sergio Leone, but transplanted to the pre-Civil War South. And if you don't think the first poster delivers on that promise, I'm sorry, but you're dead wrong.

The new poster has a simple graphic design, much in the style of the fan-made art that has been around almost since the movie's announcement. A length of chain hangs down in front of a red background, above the heads of two men, presumably Jaime Foxx's and Christoph Waltz's characters. The poster doesn't feature the title, but tells you just about everything you need to know: "The new film by Quentin Tarantino" and "Christmas."
