Chuck Norris Expendables

If don't want to live in a world where Jason Statham can pronounce a couple "man and knife," the new trailer for "The Expendables 2" is probably not for you.

The trailer is essentially everything you expect it to be, with a few wonderful bonuses sprinkled in.

After a mostly teasing first trailer, this new preview from IGN gives a better sense of how the all-star casts of action heroes arrange themselves. Sylvester Stallone is back as the leader of the gang. Bruce Willis is the reluctant third party. Jean-Claude Van Damm appears to be the bad guy, and Chuck Norris is just Chuck Norris.

As you might already know, John M. Chu directed "Step Up 2: The Streets," "Step Up 3D," "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never," oh, and this little movie you might have heard is coming out this summer called "G.I. Joe: Retaliation"! The film is currently in post-production, but when we saw Chu write that he landed in a "secret location," our minds immediately asked: "Cobra lair?!" Hey, "Marvel's The Avengers" shot an extra scene after the film already premiered—it could happen!

Also in May 3, 2012's Twitter-Wood, Rainn Wilson tweets his thoughts about "The Hunger Games," Emma Roberts is obsessed with "Girls" and Simon Pegg wants everyone to live long and prosper.

Cosmopolis

Robert Pattinson's "Cosmopolis" character Eric Packer sure knows how to charm a lady.

The first full clip from the movie has been released courtesy of Allocine, and in it we see Packer trying— albeit unsuccessfully— to seduce Sarah Gadon's character Elise Shifrin. The two had met before the snippet begins in a bookstore, and it's clear that Eric is trying to reignite the spark a bit. Elise seems very aware of this, and does her best to try to figure him out.

"You need to be inflamed, don't you?" she asks. "This is your element."

Breaking Bad

There hasn't been much revealed about the upcoming fifth season of "Breaking Bad." We know that it will be eight episodes long, splitting the usual order between this season and a final sixth season. We know that Walter White went darker than ever before at the end of season four, and we know that we're slowly dying while having to wait for the summer premiere.

A new video from the set of the fifth season in New Mexico does little more than remind us how excited we are to have the show back. If anything, it's just nice to see Bryan "B-Cran" Cranston back in his old Walter White bald-goatee combo.

Check out the next teaser after the jump!

When joining a fan-loved franchise like "Star Trek," there's a certain amount of responsibility that goes along with it. It's widely assumed that you'll have to do your research, watch the old television series and burn through the Shatner movies.

Benedict Cumberbatch has a different approach.

When Cumberbatch sat down with MTV News' Josh Horowitz to talk about the upcoming season of "Sherlock," he was put to the test and attempted to answer some "Trek" trivia. Let's just say that if this were a real test, he may probably wouldn't have passed. How is he supposed to handle to the Kobayashi Maru?

Another day, another update about the seemingly pie-in-the-sky potential of the "Friday Night Lights" movie. Here's the thing, everyone keeps saying they're on board if the right idea comes along, so what's the holdup?

"It’s on [showrunner] Jason Katims," director Peter Berg told MTV News during the press day for his upcoming blockbuster "Battleship." "If you’re a fan of 'Friday Night Lights,' write Jason Katims an email at 'Parenthood.' Be like, ‘Yo Jason, we love “Parenthood,” but let’s get the “Friday Night Lights” script done.'"

The Avengers

Nerds, assemble! "Marvel's The Avengers" lands in theaters this weekend, and I don't think I need to put up a spoiler alert before telling you that it's absolutely awesome and is going to make a bazillion dollars upon release. The MTV Movies gang has seen the flick, and we're still Hulking out over it. (Incidentally, we've discovered that we really like it when Hulk gets angry.)

So for this week's edition of Watch It, we're suiting up and assembling our reactions to "The Avengers" for those of you readers who aren't already busy standing on line for the Marvel Studios blockbuster's big debut.

Christina Beale, MTV News producer:
As a long time Joss Whedon fan, "Avengers" was everything I was hoping for and more. Joss’ obvious love for the Marvel world meshed so well with his trademark wit and warmth that the resulting film turned out greater than the sum of its parts. He took on the Herculean task of balancing the screen time for, give or take, eight lead characters, and managed to make them each feel fleshed out and interesting. I was left wanting more, but never feeling unsatisfied. Here’s to hoping for a Whedon-helmed "Avengers 2."

Tom Hiddleston will suit up as Loki again in "The Avengers," out this Friday, and apparently getting back into character wasn’t very difficult for the Brit. As he tells MTV News' Josh Horowitz, he's actually a lot more like the Norse god than we might have realized.

Of course, his catch phrase "Loki'd" isn't quite as intimidating as some of Loki's stunts in "The Avengers," but we'll overlook that for now. Hiddleston decided to show off some of his trickster tendencies around the MTV offices in a new After Hours, with devastating results.
