Not a prank, not a joke — though in fairness, you're bound to see a lot of both here.
The full-length trailer for "The Hangover: Part II" has arrived, appropriately enough, on April Fools' Day. Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha are back for another round of hung over shenanigans, this time taking their drunken escapades to the city streets of Bangkok, Thailand.

"Captain America" has thrown his mighty shield, and we're very excited to catch it.
The star-spangled superhero makes his big-screen debut this summer — no, we're not counting the 1990 film, thank you very much — and we couldn't be more excited. We're so excited, in fact, that we couldn't stop ourselves from gushing about the new "Captain America" trailer with some of our colleagues here in the MTV newsroom.
To that end, your shield-slinging Movies Blog editor (that's me, fyi!) and MTV Splash Page's esteemed editor Rick Marshall sat down on camera to dissect the latest trailer from Marvel Studios. Spring is in the air, and you know what that means: it's time to go back to the "Caribbean."
Yahoo premiered the latest trailer for "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," and it's the best look yet at the upcoming film. The Rob Marshall-directed installment of the "Pirates" saga looks as close to the spirit of "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" that we've seen since it hit theaters, winning us over instantly with its charming manipulation of our favorite pirate tales.

Get ready to be Smurfed.
The first theatrical trailer for "The Smurfs" hit the web today, and in our opinion it shows just the right balance of Neil Patrick Harris and Jayma Mays with our little blue friends. While the previous teaser left us wanting much, much more, this one gave us a good sense of where the movie's heading.
In short, there are Smurfs. They get sent to New York City. Havoc and hilarity ensues. Check out our favorite moments from the trailer after the jump!

We've waited a long time for the curtain to pull back on director J.J. Abrams and producer Steven Spielberg's upcoming summer blockbuster "Super 8," struggling through two elusive teasers that piqued our curiosity to maddening heights. Now, we've got a much better glimpse of "Super 8" on our hands thanks to the newly released trailer.
But now that the full-length trailer is here, new questions have emerged. And there's no question more important than this one: what did you think?

After several months of waiting in the dark with only a few brief glimpses at the bigger picture, Paramount Pictures has finally unveiled the first full-length trailer for "Super 8," director J.J. Abrams and producer Steven Spielberg's mysterious summer throwback movie.
What was already one of the most secretive projects of the entire summer movie season is finally becoming a little bit clearer -- though, thankfully, not too clear -- as we finally have our first good look at what Abrams has in store for us when the Amblin homage arrives in theater this June.

Summer doesn't officially kick off until June, but "Fast Five" is doing its best to speed things up.
The fifth entry into the "Fast and Furious" franchise arrives on April 28, 2011, promising all the fast cars, tough mercenaries and adrenaline-packed action sequences we've come to know and love from the series. But even though the release date is just a few short weeks away, "Fast Five" really can't come soon enough — so we're going to have to settle on a new trailer to tide us over.

A whole slew of new trailers have invaded the online space in the past day — and let's just say if you're a fan of action and animation, someone up there is looking out for you.
Up first is what's being described as the first full-length trailer for "Game of Thrones," the forthcoming HBO fantasy series based on the novels by George R.R. Martin. Not the first "Thrones" footage we've seen, but certainly the best. Viewers are getting their greatest glimpse yet at Sean Bean, Peter Dinklage and the other acclaimed actors on board for "Thrones," and we definitely like what we're seeing.
Watch that trailer plus two more — one for "Puss in Boots," the other for "Kung Fu Panda 2" — past the jump!
