As a Sundance veteran, Nick's taking it easy this year at the festival. The young king of Sundance is out promoting a film he's passionate about, "American Son," and last night he was out DJ'ing the night away at not one, but two of Park City's biggest clubs. Wait, did he say he's not going all out this year?

The Great Buck HowardOn the Line: I didn't read a single word before arriving at the theater. In fact, I hadn't even decided I would attend the screening for sure until 60 minutes before it started. So, I did no research and smiled along with the rest of the press when we were told the movie is a mere 84 minutes long.

In The Theater: It's smart, funny, sweet and thoroughly enjoyable. I was curious to to see how Colin Hanks would do in a film with his father. He did not disappoint. I liked that Tom's role was minimal and the focus was not diverted from his son. Oh, and John Malkovich? Hilarious.

The Verdict: It is quite possible I will only see one film while at the festival this year, and I'm satisfied that it is this one.

Bill PullmanTwenty-one years ago, he launched a leading man career spoofing "Star Wars." Now, Bill Pullman's shooting his newest film with one of the sci-fi film's actors - albeit a much, much smaller version of him.

From the "I Can't Believe This Just Happened" department: At 10:43 am Sunday morning, yours truly was standing on Main Street, walking out of a Sundance interview and trying to figure out where the next one was.

Looking down the busy street, I spied a man walking up the sidewalk with a video camera in one hand, holding an action figure in front of it. I thought: "Oh, it's another goofy wannabe filmmaker, shooting some dumb video for his blog." Read More...

The Yellow HandkerchiefFew things are as powerful to watch with a crowd as a romantic film that sets the waterworks flowing all around. And when actors William Hurt, Kristen Stewart and Maria Bello came to Sundance to unspool "The Yellow Handkerchief" Friday, the majority of the crowd found themselves wishing they had some hankies of their own.

Directed by acclaimed Indian filmmaker Udayan Prasad, the film plays like "The Notebook" -- if James Garner's character had been convicted murderer. Following two generations of troubled lovers, it aims to appeal to both a teenage audience and their parents. Read More...

Jack Black has been outed! Like all of Hollywood's A-list, it appears that Mr. Black is on all the good Sundance swag suite guest lists. Friends of the actor can probably look forward to some pretty excellent birthday presents this year, wouldn't you say?

Want more? Check out the rest of our interview with Jack, including his relationship with 50 Cent, right here.

Sundance Film FestivalWe're barely awake but our senses are focused on a long day of interviews. Our chat with Sarah Jessica Parker will probably impress our female readers, while our time with Adrian Grenier will make "Entourage" fans seethe with jealousy (which, let's face it, is ultimately our goal). Also on tap are such celebs as Method Man, Ben Kingsley, Quentin Tarantino and others. Oh, it's also cold. Good thing all those Hollywood stars are hitting the swag suites for some nice wintery boots (if only we could get in...sigh). Anyway, our fourth day begins! Check back soon to enjoy the offerings.

That's the latest from here at Sundance, as we caught up with the former "Cheers" star during promotion for his new indie film, "Transsiberian." Calling "The A-Team" script "surprisingly good," Harrelson teased fans by stating that his involvement "could happen." Watch more of his thoughts below, and then let us know in the comments if you think he'd make a good Murdoch.

What's better than watching a George A. Romero zombie flick with a packed house at a midnight showing? Having the man himself in attendance of course, with a spankin' new film in tow.

"I'm a little drunk," the 67-year-old maverick told the enthusiastic crowd, introducing his eagerly-anticipated "Diary of the Dead." "We're in a cold place, and you've gotta stay warm."

Woody Harrelson in Transsiberian
Article by Alyssa Vitrano

On the Line: One of the great things about seeing a movie at Sundance is that you haven't seen a trailer that gives away 80% of the movie. And since I saw Transsiberian early on, I hadn't even heard much buzz about it yet. All I knew was that Woody Harrelson was in it and, after skimming an email I'd gotten about it, also knew it was a thriller that took place on a train that travelled from Beijing to Moscow. Sounded like it could be cool. Read More...
