"Avengers" director Joss Whedon isn't content with simply overseeing Earth's Mightiest Heroes -- apparently, he wants to get in on the action himself. Tom Hiddleston, who plays the film's villain Loki, recently shared an anecdote from his time on the "Avengers" set when Whedon fully acted out a stunt-heavy moment, earning the filmmaker serious kudos points in Hiddleston's eyes. Batman protects the 99% from the plentiful crazies Gotham City has to offer, but he won't stand beside them on Wall Street. Despite rumors to the contrary, "The Dark Knight Rises" won't be shooting in New York's Zuccotti Park, so you can kiss those Bruce Wayne-meets-Wall Street protestors mashup fantasies goodbye, unfortunately.

If you haven't heard this one creeping around the 'net by now, you're in for a treat. Last week, "Anonymous" actor Rhys Ifans swung by MTV News HQ to chat about his new Roland Emmerich movie, but didn't leave without offering up some serious goods on "The Amazing Spider-Man." Ifans stars in the superhero movie as the villainous Lizard, and he offered us a terrifying taste of what his scaly creature might sound like when the movie hits in 2012.
