Story: Charles Widmore has locked Sawyer, Kate, Hurley, Jin, Sun and Frank in the polar bear cages on Hydra Island, forcing Smocke, Jack and Sayid to mount a rescue effort. Once it's clear that leaving the Island via the fallen Ajira Airways plane would be a mistake, Smocke devises a plan to use another means of travel — one that has terrible consequences for some of our heroes.

In the Sideways reality, Jack believes that Locke is a candidate... for spinal surgery, that is. Locke is oddly resistant to Jack's proposal, leading the curious surgeon to investigate the cause of the paraplegic's spinal injury. Read More...

Tribeca Film Festival Update: 'The Disappearance Of Alice Creed' And 'Beware The Gonzo'

Over the weekend I was fortunate enough to catch a couple of Tribeca Film Festival screenings. I didn't attend as press and so have no "official" reviews to file, but this blog grows out of the experiences of its contributors, and my two screenings were definitely an experience.

On Saturday afternoon I checked out "Beware the Gonzo," from "The Basketball Diaries" scribe Bryan Goluboff. In addition to penning the script, Goluboff also makes his directorial debut with "Gonzo." He assembled a talented cast of young actors for the film, including Jesse McCartney, Zoe Kravitz (yes, the daughter of Lenny) and Ezra Miller, who was great in "City Island" and is great once again in "Gonzo" as a young Hunter S. Thompson wannabe. That's not even mentioning an adult cast that includes Campbell Scott, Amy Sedaris, James Urbaniak and Judah Friedlander. Read More...

Story: Boba Fett has arrived. The future baddest-ass bounty hunter in the galaxy is but a little scamp when we meet him amidst a crew of freshly arrived pre-teen Clone Trooper cadets. The young Fett is still broken up over the death of his father Jango at Jedi Master Mace Windu's hands, and so he's hatched a plot with some familiar bounty hunting friends to take his vengeance. But when things don't go according to plan, the bounty hunter-to-be is forced to improvise. And so we see him, this young boy, start down the path to becoming the man the galaxy will one day fear. Story: Hurley (Jorge Garcia) has led Jack (Matthew Fox) and friends directly into the lion's den — better known as Smocke's (Terry O'Quinn) camp. The artist occasionally known as The Smoke Monster does his best to woo Jack over to the dark side with surprisingly honest revelations, but his hand is forced when Charles Widmore (Alan Dale) fires the first shots of war.

In the wake of an explosive incident, Smocke sets Sayid (Naveen Andrews) after Desmond (Henry Ian Cusick) while Sawyer (Josh Holloway) hatches a plan of his own to get Kate (Evangline Lily) and the others off of the Island for good.
