'Contagion'Prepare yourself to be infected with excitement for Steven Soderbergh's upcoming "Contagion."

Six new character posters for the thriller have hit the web courtesy of Yahoo! Movies, each one touting the warning, "Don't talk to anyone. Don't touch anyone." The cautionary words are paired with each of the flick's stars -- Matt Damon, Marion Cotillard, Laurence Fishburne, Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Winslet -- in various degrees of distress. A seventh poster teases, "The world goes viral September 9," with a biohazard warning for many of the world's biggest cities. "Contagion" certainly isn't beating around the bush when it comes to its end-of-the-world premise here.

Ryan Gosling"Drive," from director Nicolas Winding Refn and leading man Ryan Gosling, is easily one of my most anticipated movies coming out in the next few months. A thriller about a Hollywood stunt driver by day, getaway wheelman by night, featuring an all-star cast with guys like Bryan Cranston and Ron Perlman? Yeah, I'm on board.

But the new official poster for "Drive" sells something that's… well, a bit prettier than what I'd been led to believe about the movie. For a fierce, hard R-rated flick, this "Drive" poster is a little bit… ah… pink, I guess.

Check it out for yourself past the jump and see what you think.

50/50Although it's still summertime and we're in the midst of crazy blockbuster madness, there is a special movie coming down the pike that people should start paying attention to now: "50/50," a dramedy inspired by real life events that features the wonderful acting talents of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen, Anna Kendrick, Anjelica Huston and Bryce Dallas Howard.

In addition to having the privilege of catching an advanced screening of the film, MTV News was lucky enough to chat with director Jonathan Levine (who you should know from his excellent work on "The Wackness" - queue it up in Netflix stat, if you haven't seen it) about this special story and the film's recently-released one sheet.

"It takes a pair to beat the odds," reads the tagline above Gordon-Levitt shaving his head in front of a mirror, with Rogen wearing a quizzical/uncomfortable expression in the background.

MuppetsJason Segel. Amy Adams. Chris Cooper. Rashida Jones. Those are just a few of the star-studded cast that keep being flaunted at us for the upcoming live action film, "The Muppets." But the latest poster for the movie is reminding us that, hey, it is called "The Muppets" for a reason.

So, without further ado, we have a teaser one-sheet for the flick that shows off all the Muppet talent we can look forward to. There's Kermit and Miss Piggy, Beaker and Gonzo, Animal and Fozzie Bear, Janice, Rowlf the Dog and Scooter, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Zoot, Statler and Waldorf and, of course, newcomer Walter.

Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark"Don't be Afraid of the Dark," you ask? Then stop being so damn horrifying!

Producer Guillermo del Toro, already no stranger to mind games with his pulse-pounding thrillers like "Pan's Labyrinth" and "The Orphanage," is at it again with his latest horror flick: "Don't be Afraid of the Dark," director Troy Nixey's film about a young girl (Bailee Madison) sent to live with her father (Guy Pearce) and his new girlfriend (Katie Holmes) in their new home, where she encounters an assortment of terrifying creatures who want to turn her into one of their own. Good luck getting to sleep after watching this one.

Everything we've seen from the "Afraid of the Dark" crew has sent shivers down our spine, and the latest poster -- which we're exclusively debuting here on MTV Movies Blog -- is no exception. Check it out past the jump!

It's been four days since we had our last "The Hobbit" dwarves reveal, and in our opinion that is much, much too long.

The latest "Hobbit" photo comes at us from MSN and is of dwarf brothers Fili (Dean O'Gorman) and Kili (Aiden Turner). That means seven of the 13 dwarves have been shown to us, and we're guessing we're going to be seeing the final six revealed over the next couple of weeks. Just don't leave us waiting this long next time!

In the news after the jump, Johnny Depp adds three new projects to his slate, a remake of "Evil Dead" gains traction and new posters arrive for "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" and "50/50."

The Dark Knight RisesFROM SPLASH PAGE: "The Dark Knight Rises" is rumored to premiere its first official teaser trailer alongside the theatrical release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" later this week. What's not a rumor, however, is this week's debut of the first official poster from the film.

First unveiled over at the movie's official website, the first poster for Christopher Nolan's third and final Batman installment sets the stage for an astonishing amount of carnage and mayhem.

Sherlock HolmesIf you need something else to take your mind off the blistering summer heat, take a gander at the two new posters released for "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows," both of which have a coolness about them that has us overly excited for the sequel's release on December 16.

The first one, which debuted over at Yahoo, features Robert Downey Jr. as the titular Sherlock Holmes as he looks straight into the camera, with a half smirk/half serious expression on his perfectly stubbled face. He also has his arms crossed, with a gun pointing over his shoulder where we see a slightly blurry, yet dapper figure in the background who we can safely assume to be Jared Harris as Professor Moriarty.

Optimus PrimeThe moon will turn dark on June 29 this year, and if you've been paying any attention to the MTV Movies Blog over the past few months, you'll know that's something we're pretty darn excited about.

With the release of "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" less than two weeks away (!!!), IMAX and Paramount have released a brand spanking new IMAX 3D poster exclusively to Fandango, and it looks pretty frakkin' awesome from where we're sitting.

And if you don't think Optimus Prime is giving you one of the most sultry looks we've seen on a poster in recent months, then we might not be able to be friends anymore.

VoldemortContinuing the deluge of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" posters as we head into the final month before the film's release, today we have a companion poster released to go along with the ones we saw yesterday.

The first poster highlighted the good guys in the bunch -- Harry, Ron, Hermione, the Weasleys and Neville Longbottom, to name a few -- and this new one shows off our favorite baddies. There's Voldemort at the center, of course, with Bellatrix Lestrange and Lucius Malfoy flanking him, and Narcissa Malfoy looking on in the background. All this is set in the ruins of Hogwarts, as these posters have had a tendency to be, and the Death Eaters look poised for battle.

But there might be a little bit more to this poster if we read more into it. Spoilers up ahead!
