It must be nice to be in a brainstorming session for a spoof movie. Horror flick spoof? Er, how about "Scary Movie"?!? RomCom send up? Uh, I've got it! "Date Movie"! In that fine tradition we're pleased to announce the title of the latest from the Wayans gang: "Dance Flick." Do I really need to provide a plot summary? Will a set visit report do? Here you go. It takes guts to stamp "The most hilarious comedy of the year" on your poster, but there's a good reason to be confident when you have Simon Pegg in your cast. Not to mention Jeff Bridges, Gillian Anderson and two of the most eye-catching starlets working today, Kirsten Dunst and Megan Fox.
A fictionalized take on the book of the same name, "How to Lose Friends & Alienate People" follows Pegg as a disillusioned, celebrity-hating British writer who relocates to New York City to find work at a Vanity Fair-esque mag. We've got a cool one today, the premiere of the poster for the buzzed-about "Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist," the music-centric, romance-tinged comedy (based on the bestselling book) that finds Michael Cera and Kat Dennings as high school seniors who join forces to hunt down an elusive secret concert in New York City. I've seen this one and it could very well be the new "Juno." Catch it yourself when the film hits theaters on October 3, 2008.
We were on the set when Fall Out Boy mixed up with Seth Green in full Amish regalia and now we're here with your first look at the sex comedy (at least we hope it's a sex comedy with a title like this) that sees fit to give James Marsden "and..." status. You've made it, James!
It can't be anywhere in the league "Heat" but let's hope it's at least a little better than say, "Showtime," alright? Yes, DeNiro and Pacino are at it again, and this time they've brought 50 Cent along for the ride. The cop flick (you were expecting a musical comedy?) opens September 12. In the meantime take a gander at the poster.

The Cannes Film Festival is more than a chance to snag crepes with Harrison Ford, it's also a great opportunity to catch early editions of movie posters in the various trade mags handed out on-scene.

Well, you can't say the cast isn't enthusiastic about the start of production for the first big-screen version of the blockbuster "High School Musical" franchise.
Shooting is soon to begin on the third flick that finds high school seniors Troy (Zac Efron) and Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) facing the depressing prospect of attending different colleges. Co-starring Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and MOnique Coleman, much dancing will ensue. "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" is scheduled to hit theaters on October 24, 2008.

It was a Sundance fave, and now we've got a first look at the new poster for the Luke Wilson starrer "Henry Poole Is Here." The film -- which hits theaters on August 15th -- finds Wilson playing a disillusioned loner who abandons his life to live out in isolation, only to find himself in the middle of a potential miracle.
