In case you needed any more proof that Liam Neeson is going to be a badass in "Taken 2," here are a whole batch of new pictures from the upcoming sequel to the 2008 hit thriller.
The images come courtesy of Kinopoisk (via Collider) and give us an idea of what we can expect from Neeson's character Bryan Mills in the movie. In the stills, we see Mills holding a gun with one hand. We see him holding a gun with both hands. We see him jogging with a gun. We see him locked in hand-to-hand combat while still holding the same gun. If Mills could keep track of his family as easily as he can his weapon of choice, the "Taken" movies would be a lot less interesting.

We might have to wait until the holiday season to see the first trailer for "Pacific Rim," but that doesn't mean we won't see any teases for Guillermo del Toro's new project before then.
ComicBookMovie.com got their hands on the upcoming edition of Empire magazine which features new photos from the set of "Pacific Rim." In the scans of the images, we see del Toro directing stars Charlie Hunnam and Idris Elba as they hang out in their Jaegers (a type of giant human-piloted robot) as well as Hunnam and Elba's characters shaking hands. We also finally get a chance to see the world of "Pacific Rim," even though it looks like it's been partially destroyed by some big bad monsters.

If the superhero genre could get an all-star movie like "The Avengers," it's only fair that horror get the same treatment. Thankfully, that's exactly what "V/H/S" is.
A team of the genre's most exciting up-and-coming directors teamed up for a six-part found footage anthology that scared the crap out of everyone at Sundance in January, and now "V/H/S" is available On Demand today (August 30).
To celebrate the premiere of "V/H/S," we have an exclusive image from artist James Stokoe that was inspired by the film.

Ethan Hawke isn't exactly the first actor that springs to mind when you're thinking of a lead for a horror movie. The 41-year-old actor has never really starred in a scary movie per se (unless you count "Daybreakers"), and there's a good reason for that.
Until starring in "Sinister," in theaters on October 5, Hawke thought actually making a horror movie would be too frightening of an experience.
Check out two exclusive images from "Sinister" and the rest of our Fall Movie Preview.
Hawke, who's currently in Greece working on the sequel to "Before Sunset" with Richard Linklater, spoke to MTV News for our Fall Movie Preview and shared his old fear of making scary movies.

Nearly 30 years after Patrick Swayze, Charlie Sheen and C. Thomas Howell took up arms against invading Soviet troops, a whole new crop of Hollywood's Pretty Young Things will fend off an equally formidable foe in the upcoming remake of "Red Dawn," hitting theaters November 21.
Starring Chris Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson and Josh Peck, the film follows a rag-tag group of teens as their town is taken over by North Korean forces. As part of MTV's Fall Movie Preview Week, we've not only snagged an exclusive first-look image from the film, but chatted up Peck about the long-gestating project and its roots in the '80s classic.
Check out exclusive images from "Red Dawn" and the rest of our Fall Movie Preview films.
Production began on the actioner three years ago, long before Hemsworth wielded Thor's hammer or Hutcherson entered the arena as Peeta, and for co-star Peck, the wait for "Red Dawn" to break on the big-screen has been a long one, to say the least.

One of the most endearing aspects of "Prometheus" was how lo-fi some of the creature effects were. The Engineers, the zombie-fied Fifield and that little surprise at the end had the look of some classic "Alien" creatures that made us a twinge nostalgic.
But new stills featured in Cinefex magazine (via Blood Disgusting) show an unused version of the Fifield monster post-mask melting, a digital one created by Weta Digital.
The images have wound up online and give us a look at a version of that monster that might have been.

Who says that the movie-making business has to be all work and no play? Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Justin Lin seem to have missed the memo, because they look to be having a great time in the newest set photo for "Fast Six."
The image was tweeted by the "Fast and Furious 6" official Twitter account, teasing that "production has begun!" That's great news for fans of the franchise as the series returned to its roots in 2009's "Fast & Furious" by bringing back Diesel and Walker and has stuck to them ever since. Of course, the action films have also brought newcomers into the fold like Dwayne Johnson and badass leading lady Gina Carano.

It looks like things are going to get worse before they get better for the characters in "Mad Max: Fury Road."
A batch of set photos have hit the web courtesy of CineCommunity (via Collider) and they tease a very extreme-looking post-apocalyptic world. The images mostly show the vehicles that will be driven during the movie as well as some of the props and costumes, but together they give us an idea of the world that Mad Max will be inhabiting. And it's not very pretty.
