Speaking with Tim Kash at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, Lil Wayne revealed that -- surprise, surprise -- his kids are fans of "Twilight." I have to ask, are there any parents these days who don't have Twilighter kids?

The rapper also revealed what his dream film project would be given the opportunity: stepping into Prince's role for a "Purple Rain" remake. I have to echo Tim's sentiment here. Do the remake! Remember, you can head over to MTV.com for more from Lil Wayne, Young Buck and others on this week's episode of Mixtape Daily!

Fabulous celebrities have a tendency to wear fabulous things, especially when they're taking a stroll down the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards. Here we have "Twilight" stars Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz stopping to chat with "Project Runway" star Christian Siriano about their fine threads. Greene has a momentary lapse as she tries to remember whose handbag she's carrying, but the duo recovers gracefully enough. Head over to MTV.com where you can check out the rest of the Red Carpet Report With Christian Siriano at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards!

By the time most of you see the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards, it's littered with celebrities, reporters, flashing cameras, microphone wires and all other manner of madness. As you might expect, bringing all of that chaos into one place requires a good bit of setup. Days, in fact. It's a cool thing to watch when a big production like this comes together, but most of us don't have the time to sit and observe. Good thing for you then that we've put together this little video, a timelapse runthrough of the Movie Awards red carpet setup and breakdown. Unsurprisingly, pulling it all apart takes much quicker than putting it together. Don't take my word for it though; see for yourself!

BrunoFROM MTV.COM: Hard as it may be for some to believe that Eminem was in on his incident with Brüno at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night, the MC's comments on the stunt have certainly gotten fans talking.

After Eminem said he was "thrilled that we pulled this off better than we rehearsed it," the response was sharply divided over whether the bit was a hilarious display of good humor by Slim Shady or a bad look for a rapper.

Kristen StewartLast week MTV senior writer (and Twilighter-in-residence) Larry Carroll revealed that four lucky Twilighters would be performing seat-filling duties at this past Sunday's 2009 MTV Movie Awards. Popular "Twilight" vlogger Bailey Gauthier was joined by Joe Korbel, Tom Latvys and Craig Deering of Evil Iguana Productions. The following is Craig's account of the night's events.

When MTV asked if we would be interested in being seat fillers at this years Movie Awards we didn't even have to think about our answer; it was most definitely yes!! The first few days in Los Angeles were awesome, but they couldn't compare to the actual event. As we stood in line with all the other seat fillers we quietly discussed important matters: the different "Twilight" stars we would fill in for, or how I could successfully propose to Kristen Stewart without getting kicked out. Then we learned we where being upgraded to the best seats in the house, front row in the pit! Read more...

As I lay here in my underwear listening to Journey, I reflect on my day. I woke up expecting to be filling seats for celebrities at the MTV Movie Awards, possibly even Kristen Stewart’s, but little did I know what was actually in store for me. I showed up at 3pm ready to fill seats with Craig, Bailey and Joe. Read more...

Y'all know exactly the moment I'm referring to. That one, when RPattz and KStew accepted their Best Kiss award at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards. Instead of reprising their "Twilight" money shot, the duo teased gathered Twilighters with an almost-but-not-quite kiss. You shouldn't have missed it, but just in case you did here's your opportunity to relive the almost-magic.

Here's my blog on tonight's happenings, but be gentle because it's my first time. MTV was kind enough to let us in to the MTV Movie Awards and the event was absolutely amazing. Bailey, Tom, Craig and myself were all amazed at the opportunity we were given to serve as seat fillers. Read more...

You've gotta hand it to Lil Wayne. The guy is a wordsmith. He sums up very well exactly what we should have expected from Sacha Baron Cohen-as-Brüo's appearance last night on the MTV Movie Awards: nothing. "I was expecting the unexpected... with him," the rapper said to MTV's Tim Kash of Brüno's run-in with Eminem. "I didn't understand it, but it was cool."

Maybe it was cool, but Eminem certainly didn't seem to think so. The rapper had some harsh words after Cohen's gay Austrian fashion reporter landed upside down in Eminem's lap. Em struggled as his bodyguards extracted the fallen Brüno and then stormed out of the Gibson Amphitheatre. And he thought Triumph the Insult Comic Dog was bad.

One of the more amusing moments from last night's MTV Movie Awards -- of those that had nothing to do with Eminem, that is -- came when Andy Samberg faked out the viewing audience with his own take on the "New Moon" trailer (which debuted last night).

Samberg probably isn't hoping to impress any casting directors working on the "Twilight" saga, as his vampire appears to come more from the Dracula school of blood-sucking. Still, this trailer looks like my kind of "Twilight" movie, featuring garlic, basketball and a showdown with "Teen Wolf"! I wonder, how many of you viewers got that particular reference?
