There's a solar tsunami headed for Earth. Now, don't panic — it sounds a lot worse than it actually is. Basically, if you live in the Northern portion of the United States and possibly even lower, you're going to see some beautiful lights all throughout the night sky tonight thanks to a solar eruption from the sun. It might knock out some satellites in the process, but overall, we should be fine.

'Inception' Gag Video From CollegeHumor Is Accurate, Funny And Dead Wrong

Have you seen "Inception"? If you haven't, skip right past this post. If you have though, watch the below video from CollegeHumor. You will definitely feel like you're suddenly back to where you were right after the movie ended and you discussed it among your friends in an attempt to figure things out. The CH folks make a lot of good points, round up some Internet-spawned interpretations and basically speak to the ongoing dialogue around Chris Nolan's film, all within the context of a spoofed scene from the movie.

It works. It's also wrong. "Inception" rules. Any issues are there on purpose, just to make you second-guess yourself. ...right?

It's a bizarre day, MTV Movies Blog readers. The 16-year-old pop sensation Justin Bieber is getting a biopic. In 3-D. Directed by "An Inconvenient Truth" helmer Davis Guggenheim. And it will release next year, for Valentine's Day weekend. Also, my birthday.

Strange times. Pigs are most definitely not flying, not here in New York City at any rate, but this Bieber/Guggenheim collaboration really is happening. And why not? Bieber is a towering figure in the current pop culture landscape. Guggenheim is a top-level documentary filmmaker. Who better to tell the story of Bieber's sudden -- remember, he only came into the spotlight last year -- meteoric rise to success? Sylvester Stallone Ponders A Rambo Origin Story, So We Ponder The Casting

Last week, "The Expendables" star Sylvester Stallone sat down to answer a week's worth of fan-submitted at Ain't It Cool News. In one of the entries, someone asked about the possibility of Stallone returning to the character of John Rambo, not to play him but rather to get his origin story up there on the big screen.

Stallone, who has previously collaborated with AICN on these sorts of interviews and has always gamely entertained fan questions & theories, was intrigued. "I certainly think this is worth pondering because it’s intriguing to find the whys and wherefores of how people have come to become what they are," he wrote. "The traumas, the loss and the tragedy of being in Vietnam would certainly be a great challenge for a young actor and it would be ironic that Rambo directs younger Rambo after having played it for 20 plus years."

It's actually a pretty terrific idea, telling the story of how a crazed and broken John Rambo returned to the States in the original film, "First Blood." Who would you cast though? Stallone's shoes are mighty big ones to fill and it's going to take just the right actor to pull it off. "Dinner for Schmucks" is out today, bringing home Steve Carell's third movie of the year, after "Date Night" and "Despicable Me." A few weeks ago, Carell sat down -- and I use the term loosely -- with MTV's Josh Horowitz for an informal chat. A very informal chat. Remember Josh's encounter with John C. Reilly back in June? This is more awkward, more disturbing. Hit play and prepare to be horrified.

'American Idol' Behind-The-Scenes Drama Is An HBO Tell-All Movie In The Making

"American Idol" has undergone some radical changes over the last 24 hours — indeed, considerably longer than that, as Simon Cowell's decision to leave the show has been public knowledge for quite some time. But in the last day, it was announced that Ellen DeGeneres has opted to leave the show as well, and now reports are coming in that Kara DioGuardi has been fired, with other firings potentially to follow.

What is the world coming to?

Although this certainly doesn't herald the end of "American Idol" as a franchise, it would seem that significant changes are coming to the show. It only makes sense then that some network — say, I don't know, HBO — secures the rights to making the "American Idol" behind-the-scenes tell-all telemovie. Bruce Willis Gets Wacky With MTV At San Diego Comic-Con

Good news everyone! Bruce Willis isn't sad anymore! He's actually feeling kind of goofy these days, as you can see in our below video from last week's San Diego Comic-Con livestream. I'd like to think it's because he had so much fun shooting "Red" with the likes of Karl Urban, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich, Mary Louise-Parker, Morgan Freeman, Richard Dreyfuss and a whole mess of other talented performers. I guess it could also be because "Die Hard 5" is imminent. But as Willis himself has said... "There is no John McClane."
