Movies Blog has moved! come with us to mtv news »

Eight years have passed since we last seen the greatest British Intelligence agent who ever lived. No, clearly we're not talking about James Bond — he's second fiddle at best when compared to the likes of Johnny English, the bumbling spy who will be "Reborn" this fall.

As MTV News' Fall Movie Preview week draws to a close, we're pleased to bring you an exclusive look at Rowan Atkinson in "Johnny English Reborn." At first glance, you'd be forgiven for mistaking "Reborn" for a scene straight out of Christopher Nolan's "Inception," but give it a few seconds — the similarities will end pretty damn quickly.

FROM MTV MOVIES: Film fans have never had it so good, given the increasingly massive number of movies released each year. The only problem with that enormous haul is that not all of them are great or memorable, no matter their box-office success. And while 2011 has already brought some great features, we here at MTV News are looking forward to the fall movie season with great anticipation, mostly because studios typically release some of their best projects between the months of September and December.

One of the finest of the fall slate is "Warrior," a gritty and moving action flick about two brothers who face the fight of their lives in a mixed martial arts tournament. How do we know it's great? Because we've seen it, and during the promotional run for the Friday release, the response among the other usually cynical reporters in attendance was extremely positive.

We caught up with stars Tom Hardy, Joel Edgerton and director Gavin O'Connor and asked whether they can feel that positive vibe as well.

FROM MTV MOVIES: Last summer, MTV News got a very special, very twisted look at "A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas," the third installment of Kal Penn and John Cho's herbaceous buddy-comedy franchise, when we popped by the Detroit set.

We can't yet show you much of what we saw that day, but as part of our Fall Movie Preview, we're rolling out a tasty nugget of our interview with Penn and Cho. In between cracking jokes about '80s comedies, MTV programming and potential celebrity cameos, the duo let us know what we can expect when the new film, which focuses on the two estranged friends reuniting during the holidays, hits theaters November 4.

You've seen movies about boxing. You've seen movies about robots. But have you seen movies about boxing robots? If not—and chances are good that you haven't—you can fix that sorry mistake in October when "Real Steel" sucker punches its way into theaters!

As part of MTV News' Fall Movie Preview week, we've got an exclusive photo from "Real Steel" for your viewing pleasure today. I also had the chance to chat with director Shawn Levy about the project, which marks a dramatic departure for the filmmaker in more ways than one.

"Comedy has been really good to me, but this was a deliberate departure," he told me of his reasons for shooting the robot boxing movie, which stars Hugh Jackman as a former fighter turned trainer in a world where human boxers have been replaced by cybernetic ones.

With Labor Day safely behind us, weekly movie releases can now officially be considered as part of the fall slate. Yes, yes... fall technically starts on September 22. Screw that noise though. Summer blockbusters are done. So begins the race for the Golden Globes, the Academy Awards and all of the other many prestigious awards that will be handed out in the coming months.

What are you most looking forward to seeing? "TRON: Legacy"? "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"? "The Social Network"? Please let us know. I'm going to use this opportunity to run through 10 upcoming fall releases that don't necessarily number among the major tentpoles. Even if you've heard of them, these (mostly) smaller-scale productions are worthy of your attention in the coming months. Read More...

What It's About: There's a train loaded with dangerous, highly combustible chemicals AND IT'S OUT OF CONTROL! Only two dudes can save it, and they bust ass to do just that.

Who's In It: Denzel Washington, Chris Pine, Rosario Dawson, Ethan Suplee. Directed by Tony Scott.

Why You Should Care: If the Washington-Pine-Scott trifecta isn't enough to draw you in, how about the fact that we have a movie here that's pegged to a manmade disaster and yet apparently has nothing to do with terrorism? A refreshing change, to say the least.

What's It Called: "Megamind"

What It's About: An alien super-villain manages to finally kill off his superhero arch-nemesis... only to discover that his life no longer has any purpose. In his depression he creates a new hero for him to match wits against... only the newcomer decides to use his powers for evil, thus forcing our downtrodden super-villain to protect the people he once sought to dominate.

Who's In It: Will Ferrell, Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill, Tina Fey, David Cross, Justin Long. Directed by Tom McGrath.

Why You Should Care: Honestly, the year has been pretty crowded with first-class animated films, to the point that this is the second one in 2010 to feature a super-villain who is forced to turn over a new leaf. That being said, "Megamind" features a dynamite cast and a cool story of its own. Day one ticket purchase right here.

Why You Should Care: It's a classic children's tale upgraded with modern-day ideas and starring Jack Black. Also, the always excellent Nick Stoller co-wrote it.

Today is the last day in MTV's Fall Preview week, and here's one last exclusive clip for your viewing enjoyment. "It's A Funny Kind of Story" is the latest from the "Half Nelson" writer/director team of Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. It's an ensemble comedy about a clinically depressed teen who decides to have himself committed. There's a great cast here: Keir Gilchrist, Zach Galifianakis, Emma Roberts, Lauren Graham, Zoe Kravitz, Aasif Mandvi, Jim Gaffigan... lots of folks. In the clip below, Gilchrist and Kravitz share a tender, awkward moment.

Catch "It's A Funny Kind of Story" in theaters on October 8.
