Dax ShepardWhen most of us throw parties, they're pretty standard affairs. A little booze, some chips & dip, a shuffled playlist (who really uses CDs anymore?), maybe some game-like diversions like cards or "Rock Band." As today's Daily TwitPic proves, celebrities are on a whole other trip when they throw parties.

Celebs like Dax Shepard, who recently brought his pals together to drink a few beers and fight for our freedom. See, while we're all just hanging out with friends, Shepard had everyone show up in costume for a "Rambo" trilogy party. And it's not even Halloween! Madness! I want to know what's up with the dude in the back-- was he captured mid-jump or is he pulling some ninja move where he's braced up high on the wall. Because I have to say... it looks like the latter. And that's badass. Read More...

Richard BelzerIn today's Daily TwitPic, "Law & Order: SVU" stars Ice-T and Richard Belzer are out celebrating the elder actor's birthday. Thank you Warmoth for giving me such gold to work with this morning. Should I guess at what kind of wine they're drinking? One commenter suggested that the bread is challah, even though it's clearly not.

Belzer's "SVU" character Munch has jumped between a number of TV series' over the years. His first main gig was on "Homicide: Life on the Street," based on "The Wire" creator David Simon's book, "Homicide: A Year on the Killing Streets." Munch also made a cameo on "The Wire," as well as "Law & Order" vanilla, "The X-Files," "Sesame Street," "Arrested Development" and a number of others. And now he's celebrating a happy birthday in NYC with his pal Ice-T, who wrote the song "Cop Killer" in 1991. Funny how the world works that way. Read More...

James GunnThe Daily TwitPic for this morning captures "Dawn of the Dead" writer James Gunn catching a sushi birthday dinner with his pal Michael Rosenbaum, "Smallville"'s Lex Luthor. I've always wondered why Lex never tried raising the dead to get at Superman. Maybe that's what the Gunn's and Rosenbaum's dinner convo was really about, especially since Gunn has experience with the newer, faster breed of walking dead. I wonder if a zombie bite would infect the Man of Steel. Or if it could even pierce him.

These are the thoughts that run through my head when I write for you MTV readers at 6:30 in the morning. The point is, yesterday's TwitPic is only going to be terribly exciting for a select few "Smallville" and horror fans. So I thought I'd spruce it up with some inane fanboy ramblings. It worked, didn't it? I mean here we are now, at the jump! Damn does that sushi look good. Read More...

Miley CyrusYesterday's Daily TwitPic, featuring Jeremy Piven launching himself off of a WWE turnbuckle, is about as far from today's as you can get. Does anyone really not know who Miley Cyrus is anymore? Even if Disney's "Hannah Montana" is outside your personal lens, she's sort of hard to avoid. You might not recognize her music, but the name and face are pretty household by now.

A random bit of trivia I picked up while prepping this post: Cyrus was in Tim Burton's "Big Fish" as the character Little Ruthie. News to me.

Anyway, your Daily TwitPic proves that Miley doesn't need makeup and stage lights to look adorable. As this pic proves, all she really needs is a beach, a slightly canted camera angle and that radiant smile of hers. Read More...

Jeremy PivenEver since micro-blogging service Twitter became all the rage, more and more people have been sharing their amateur photography via TwitPic. Including famous people. And since celebs tend to exist on a different plane from the rest of us, there's usually some wacky stuff on display. That's where Daily TwitPic comes in.

Our inaugural TwitPic comes from Jeremy Piven, who hosted WWE's "Monday Night RAW." That's what he was there to do anyway. The scrappy actor who plays shark talent agent Ari Gold on HBO's "Entourage" proved that he can throw down with more than just his profanity-laced patter. Piven stepped into the ring to face off against John Cena and... well... you kinda have to see it for yourself: Read More...
