I've never been a big fan of Limp Bizkit, but frontman Fred Durst gets big ups for making the Jesse Eisenberg-starring "The Education of Charlie Banks" his directorial debut. Sure, he followed it up with "The Longshots," which wasn't nearly as good. But Durst's first foray into filmmaking is worthy of respect, and at least has my interest piqued about whatever might be next.

None of that has any bearing on your Daily TwitPic of course, but it might offer some of you new insight into the man who brought "Nookie" to the world. In fact, Durst isn't even in the pic after the jump, not the real one. No, what you'll see below is an imposter. A scrawny, eyeless imposter with hair sticking out at all angles along the sides of his Durst-face. Creepy defined. Read More...

Today is one of those days where I have to step up and overrule Mr. Brian Warmoth, master of all things Twitter-Wood, in his Twitter Pic of the Day selection. I mean, sure... a picture of "The Box" director Richard Kelly with his mother in front of a cool Alfred Hitchcock photo is great, but I think some of you readers will be more interested in one of yesterday's other picks.

The big Twitter news yesterday was the activation of an official @Twilight account. Like any franchise with a large following of rabid fans, Twilighters treasure their minutiae. And a "Twilight" Twitter feed is a great resource for delivering just that. Among the first load of tweets to arrive yesterday is today's Daily TwitPic, a picture of "New Moon" director Chris Weitz on the fancy sound mixing stage. Check it out after the jump... Read More...

You can always tell I'm out of my comfort zone with the Daily TwitPic by how much beating around the bush is done. Take today. I've never seen "The Office," never heard the music of Frightened Rabbit. And yet, from what I can tell today's TwitPic is about both.

"The Office" is popular, right? Before it, Rainn Wilson had always struck me as a particularly recognizable "that guy," with my favorite role being his creepy undertaker on HBO's "Six Feet Under." Now he's got "The Office" which, again, is pretty darn popular. As for Frightened Rabbit, they're a Scottish indie rock band of whom Wilson is apparently a fan. So he was understandably excited when the quintet stopped by the office (or is it "The Office"?) to say hi. You can see Wilson geeking out after the jump. Read More...

Funny-lady Sarah Silverman rarely disappoints where Daily TwitPic is concerned. A regular Tweet-er, she's often got a new image to shock unsuspecting readers. Usually it's because her dirty, dirty mind gives added context to what would otherwise amount to a fairly innocuous image. Other times its just a moment of hilarity pulled from a rather odd person's life. Today, it's because she's happy to embarrass herself with a picture from her childhood.

The caption is pretty hilarious too... "This is a game I like to call Find The Jew" Read More...

I love when headlines write themselves. This is one of those posts. Because really, Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton and Hugh Hefner gathered together for a snapshot pretty much says it all. Nicky snapped this shot, of what she called her "Trashy Lingerie collage." Where's the pic from, you ask? The Playboy Mansion, 'natch!

I'm not sure I'm clear on what's going on here though. Clearly, the ladies are enjoying themselves with the Hef. Really though, who doesn't have a good time at a Playboy Mansion party? What's confusing me is Paris. Notice how one of her eyes is missing? Why? Was she the victim of a poorly thrown dart? A sudden sibling spat? An overzealously swung cigarette? We'll likely never know for sure, but that doesn't mean you can enjoy the picture! Read More...

"Twilight" star Peter Facinelli is no stranger to the Hippocratic oath. He may have been a loser jock back in his "Can't Hardly Wait" days, but Peter's matured over the years. He's a doctor now, a pale-faced vegetarian vampire doctor who sparkles in the sunlight. Neat-o.

He's got another doctor gig too, a more mundane one. At least in comparison to the one that requires him to fight his bloodlust all day in the hospital. Facinelli is one of the stars of "Nurse Jackie," a Showtime comedy series set -- you guessed it -- in a house of healing. In today's Daily TwitPic, you can see Facinelli in his doctor scrubs, ready for work. And you can tell it's not an "Eclipse" set pic because there's actual color in his face. Read More...

Are you familiar with James Gunn? A lot of folks know him as the writer of the "Dawn of the Dead," but his first gig was actually on Troma Entertainment's classic "Tromeo & Juliet," which he also wrote. Gunn is a regular on our daily Twitter-Wood feed, and today he joins Daily TwitPic for what may be the first time (I was wrong; it's his second).

Today's pic is exactly what the headline tells you it is. Gunn holding a wine glass while Rainn Wilson's horse -- Gussie -- drinks from it. Or at least inspects it very closely; I see no horse tongue. Gunn claims the liquid in his glass is orange juice, but I prefer to think that Gussie is a sort of alcoholic Mr. Ed, willing to sell his foals for a taste of the good stuff. It's a hard knock life when you're a horse. Read More...

I wussed out, what can I say? Last Friday's Twitter Pic of the Day honors went to Aubrey O'Day, who posed facing away from the camera with her dog. The photo isn't quite scandalous, but it's not something I'm going to put up here. Instead, I offer you the two runners-up, from Danny Masterson and Fred Durst.

In the first pic, you get to see Masterson's uncanny resemblance to '60s radical and social activist Jerry Rubin. Its pretty uncanny. If you don't know who Jerry Rubin is, I strongly suggest checking out the movie "Chicago 10." Then there's the Limp Bizkit singer, whose snapped this Twitpic of a heavy modified, very red car. You kind of have to see it for yourself to understand. Read More...

Today's a Daily TwitPic two-fer. First up is "Twilight" star Peter Facinelli with a very personal look behind the scenes at next summer's "Eclipse." You may not realize this, but the real life actor isn't quite as pale in real life as his Cullen family vampire. That takes make-up. And time. To give his fans a glimpse into the process, Facinelli snapped a shot of what he sees as make-up artist Charlies Porlier applies his magic.

And then we have Jerry Lewis consuming a glass. Really, a whole glass. It's not broken or anything, nor is it coated in delicious BBQ sauce. It's just Jerry Lewis with a wine glass (or maybe it's champagne?) in his mouth. And hanging out with Richard Belzer, friend and "Law & Order: SVU" co-star of Ice-T, who snapped the pic. Poor Miley Cyrus. The pop sensation has been sick with strep throat lately. Not fun. She's been quite the trooper though. Those who keep up with her Twitter feed know that Miley soldiered her way through a performance in Salt Lake City. For most people with strep, it's all they can do to open their mouth for a drink of water. Miley though... she got up in front of her screaming fans and sang. That's dedication.

To hear her tell it though, the "Hannah Montana" star wouldn't be quite so on top of her game if she didn't have a solid support network backing her up. Especially her dad, country/pop singer Billy Ray Cyrus. In today's Daily TwitPic, Miley demonstrates the goofy lengths her dad will go to to put a smile on her face. Read More...
