'Inglorious Basterds' Star Omar Doom Goes Under The Knife In Today's Daily TwitPic

If you've seen Quentin Tarantino's "Inglorious Basterds," then you know (*spoiler alert*) that any captured Nazis the Basterds allow to live are scarred for life with a swastika carved into their foreheads (*end spoiler*). I'm not entirely sure what that has to do with this morning's Daily TwitPic, but I do find it ironic that it features one of the Basterds going under the knife himself.

Omar Doom, who plays the third Basterd charged with accompanying Bridget von Hammersmark to the premiere of "Our Nation's Pride" (Brad Pitt and Eli Roth being the other two), convinced someone to snap a picture of him at the dentist just as he was receiving his Novocaine injection. 'Twilight' Star Peter Facinelli Is Seeing Things In Today's Daily TwitPic

"Twilight" star Peter Facinelli plays a vampire doctor in the Stephenie Meyer series, but he's also a doctor in another life. Facinelli has a steady gig entertaining small screen viewers on the TV series "Nurse Jackie." I haven't seen the show, but he's apparently an ace doctor in that series as well.

As you might expect, Facinelli spends a lot more time on the TV set than he does shooting "Twilight" movies. However, the pressures of shooting and promoting a movie keep him on the go very frequently. Which is why he's seeing things, or so he indicates in today's Daily TwitPic. 'Up' Comes To Life In Today's Daily TwitPic

If you're a heavy Twitter user, chances are you've already seen this morning's Daily TwitPic. It made the rounds yesterday in a big way, probably because it's so freaking hilarious. I can't help but feel bad for the little kid though.

If you're NOT a Twitter user, you probably don't know what the crap I'm talking about. "Up" is one of the year's biggest movies, both critically and commercially. Pixar rarely fails, but their tale of an old man's rediscovered love for life is a major win. Part of the reason for that is the lovable characters: Carl Fredricksen, the aforementioned elder, Dug, the simple-minded talking dog, and, of course, Russell, the peppy little fat kid and wilderness explorer. Denise Richards Shows Off Her Cover-Up In Today's Daily TwitPic

Everyone makes mistakes. Even celebrities (especially celebrities?). Some of those errors in judgment are more permanent than others, like getting a tattoo of your significant other's name only to later break up. D'oh!

That's what happened to Denise Richards, who you've most recently seen on the E! reality series "Denise Richards: It's Complicated" (its second season ended in July, no word on a third). Fortunately for Richards, she's got resourceful friends. The actress hit up her pal Kat Von D, noted tattoo artist and start of the "LA Ink" reality series, to fix the offending body mark. In The Studio For 'Up In The Air' In Today's Daily TwitPic

I missed it this past weekend, but one of the movies to watch out for this year as we slide into awards season is "Up in the Air," director Jason Reitman's follow-up to "Juno." The flick stars George Clooney as Ryan Bingham, a corporate hatchetman who spends the larger portion of his days in flight, constantly moving from place to place in the execution of his work. He is, to put it simply, a man whose life is in constant flux, someone with no point to which he can ground himself.

The movie hasn't even opened in wide release yet, but the powers-that-be are already prepping the home video release. In today's Daily TwitPic, you get to see Reitman, first assistant director Jason Blumenfeld and cinematographer Eric Steelberg in the studio, recording their audio commentary. 'Toy Story 3' Preparations In Today's Daily TwitPic... WITH VIDEO!

Today's Daily TwitPic comes packing a special treat. For the first time, you'll get a video to go along with your picture. We truly live in a time of miracle and wonder.

The pic and vid both come from the same source: Lee Unkrich, Pixar veteran and director of the "Toy Story" movies. As you well know -- or should, by now -- Pixar/Disney Animation Studios is hard at work on "Toy Story 3," which is due to hit theaters next summer. Part of the process involves recording an all-new unforgettable score, which will of course include singer/songwriter Randy Newman. It's A Partial 'Full House' Reunion In Today's Daily TwitPic

Ah, "Full House." If you did any growing up during the '90s, you've seen the classic sitcom. It was the first to put the Olsen twins -- Mary-Kate and Ashley -- on the pop culture radar. It also introduced us to the glory of John Stamos, who also happens to be a fixture in our daily Twitter-Wood celebrity tweet round-up. He's one of the bolder celeb tweeters out there too, as he frequently shares pics, and potentially embarrassing ones.

I'm not sure yesterday's share, today's Daily TwitPic, really qualifies as embarrassing. More like confusing. We've got Stamos. We've also got his fellow "Full House" star Candace Cameron, who played D.J., the elder Tanner sibling. And then you've got a gang of children, who Stamos identifies as Cameron's "kids." Now she's certainly old enough to be a mother, but there are a lot of rugrats here and some of them look old enough to be Cameron's younger sister. 'Eclipse' Actor BooBoo Stewart Spouts One-Liners With David Caruso In Today's Daily TwitPic

"Eclipse" hits theaters this summer, at the end of June. One of the new characters we'll meet is Seth Clearwater, younger brother of Leah. He's a werewolf, just like his pals on the reservation, but he's cut from a different cloth. Sam, you see, is happy to pal around with vampires. (right, Twilighters?)

He also apparently pals around with Miami detectives known for kicking out devastatingly hilarious one-liners. David Caruso, star of "CSI: Miami," posed for a shot with young Stewart in this morning's Daily TwitPic. I can't tell where they are, but it's bright, very green and there's a large spotlight in the background. Probably a "CSI" set as opposed to a "Twilight" set. Danny DeVito And His Weird Trollfoot Fetish In Today's Daily TwitPic

I've gotta admit, this whole "trollfoot" thing with Danny DeVito freaks me out a little bit. The guy takes a lot of joy in taking pictures of his foot under a variety of circumstances. Now I'm a big fan of DeVito, having grown up with classics like "Ruthless People," "Other People's Money," "Throw Momma From The Train," "Twins" and, of course, "Batman Returns." This whole foot thing though... it's just straight weird.

Then again, when you're as successful as DeVito's been -- and as consistently entertaining -- it's easy to overlook the odd quirk. In addition to his acting career, which has gotten a second wind from "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," we're talking about a guy who served as a producer on such fine works as "Garden State," "Gattaca" and "Pulp Fiction." A Terminator And A Jedi Master Meet In Today's Daily TwitPic

Today's Daily TwitPic may not appeal to the entire Twilighter contingent reading this blog, but it will definitely appeal to fanboys and fangirls who appreciate marauding killer robots from the future and storytellers from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, California's own Gubernator, got to meet none other than George Lucas, creator of the "Star Wars" franchise. A Terminator and Jedi Master, going head-to-head. The picture is relatively tame, considering the great power these two men possess. I like to think that they're sizing each other up, preparing for some great battle. "Star Wars" would win naturally, since the ability to destroy -- or in Terminator's case, enslave -- a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force.
