Seeing all the original stars from "American Pie" back together again for "American Reunion" has me feeling all nostalgic for great high school movies of the past and stuff. I got to thinking that there are a bunch of other beloved films in the genre that I'd love to see take a page from the "American Pie" playbook and make a reunion-style movie. Pending on all of the original cast's participation, of course, I'd gladly pay to see the reunion versions of these five favorites:

Clueless
To be honest we doubt that Cher, Josh, Dionne and Murray have changed all that much but it would be so great to see what they're up to nearly 20 years later. Amazingly enough, most of the cast members have worked steadily over the years. Paul Rudd is definitely the MVP of the group and I think Jeremy Sisto takes home the most improved award, thanks to his charming work as a single dad on ABC's hit "Suburgatory."

Titanic Bond

Three of this week's releases have more than a little 90s vibe to them. "Titanic" is back on the big screen, Jason Biggs is doing things that no one really wants to see, and a 90s auteur makes his long-awaited return. The movies also make for some great 90s pairing, so if you're interested in a perfect complement to your weekend of nostalgia, check out this week's Double Feature Friday.

"Titanic 3D" & "Tomorrow Never Dies"
On December 19, 1997, three new films debuted. One was a minor Gore Verbinski work called "Mouse Hunt" with Nathan Lane and Lee Evans. (How was that not a smash?) The other two were James Cameron's "Titanic" and Pierce Brosnan's second James Bond movie "Tomorrow Never Dies." One went on to become the highest grossing movie of all time. The other faded in with the rest of the 007 cannon, seen largely as lesser than "GoldenEye." But the little known fact is that the two put up quite the fight for the box office that mid-December weekend. "Titanic" eventually edged out Bond by a measly $3 million, so while people are off to the theaters to travel back to 1997, take time to remember the other movie from that weekend.

But don't watch "Mouse Hunt."

Once in a generation, there is born a talent so great, so astounding, that it cannot be stopped. When I think back on the pantheon of actors in the world, one name tops my list...

Zane. Billy Zane.

The bad boy baldy has played some of the most crucial and instrumental roles in the great rolodex of film, gifting us with unforgettable moments that have warmed viewers' tender hearts on the coldest of nights.

With "Titanic" back in theaters, my mind is not on Leo and Kate (sorry Jack, I totally let go), but on the most inZane man on the planet. In honor of the return of his most iconic role to date, I present to you, the top five greatest Billy Zane moments ever captured on film.

Today (April 6), Billy Dee Williams will turn 75 years old. Mr. Williams, of course, is best known for portraying smooth scoundrel Lando Calrissian in two “Star Wars” movies.

Gambler, businessman, smuggler, pilot, rebel, hero: Lando is all these things and more. And although Han may be the wittiest and Yoda the wisest, Lando does utter quite a few memorable lines in the original “Star Wars” trilogy. So, to celebrate Williams’ big birthday, I give you my Top Ten Most Memorable Lando Lines, in random order.

1. “That blast came from the Death Star! That thing’s operational!”

High school reunions remain a tried and true tradition to this day. In fact, some might say that they're as American as apple pie. On a similar note, this weekend marks the release of the 4th official installment in the "American Pie" series. Although there have been several straight-to-DVD spin-off movies since 2003's "American Wedding," none of those films featured any of the main cast from the original series. Except for Eugene Levy of course, who is literally in every single one of the "American Pie" movies.

We're talking about Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Sean William Scott, Chris Klein, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Mena Suvari, Eddie Kaye Thomas, and even Tara Reid! They're all back, reprising their roles made popular by the original three films. Taking place over a decade after the first "American Pie," "American Reunion" appears to be the most genuine movie in the series as it tackles hot topics such as generational differences and merging the gap between childhood and adulthood. However, this doesn't necessarily make the film any less raunchy or risque than its predecessors.

The "American Pie" series is known for several key things, chief among them being a very "adult" sense of humor. Based on the trailer alone, it's fairly obvious that "American Reunion" will share this "adult" sensibility as made evident by Jason Biggs getting caught masturbating within the first few seconds. Here's a look at 5 other "American Pie" staples that we can't wait to revisit with "American Reunion."

From Aspen with love, a true blue "Dumb and Dumber" sequel is actually happening! Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are back on board with the Farrelly Brothers for another round of stupid mayhem, and to say we're pumped over here is a pretty big understatement.

In fact, the MTV Movies team is so jazzed by the impending return of Harry and Lloyd that we couldn't help ourselves from conjuring up some sequel ideas, "Anchorman" style. Embrace your inner idiot with us after the jump!

What do you get when you take "Die Hard" and "Air Force One" and smash them both together? Why, Roland Emmerich's next blockbuster of course!

Enter "White House Down," a movie that's being described as "Die Hard" in the White House. Not much is known about the project other than its premise as a "paramilitary takeover of the White House."

Of course, those of you who know Emmerich will note that this isn't the first time that the director has tackled this presidential palace... in fact, arguably one of the most famous scenes in Emmerich's entire career involved a huge alien spaceship blowing up the White House and everyone left inside. Which has us thinking, how much cooler would "White House Down" be if it were secretly an "Independence Day" sequel?

James Cameron's "Prometheuses" would be awesome. But… it's not happening.

A report surfaced over the weekend that Ridley Scott and Cameron were planning another "Alien" to "Aliens" handoff with the "Prometheus" franchise, with Cameron stepping in to direct the sequel after Scott's upcoming epic hits this summer. Not happening. It's an April Fool's Day prank that's gotten out of hand, nothing more, nothing less.

Well, maybe a little bit more: for me, it's the cruelest April Fool's Day prank you can possibly play.

Wrath of the Titans

If one movie is never enough for you and you're looking for a flick to get you in the mood for this week's new release, Double Feature Friday is here to help. Every week we break down the new releases and pair them with older movies that you should catch before heading out to the theater. Or just skip the new movie and check out the classic we recommend.

"Wrath of the Titans" & "Carlos"
In recasting several of the supporting characters from "Clash of the Titans," "Wrath" picked up an exciting new Ares in Édgar Ramírez. It may not be a name you know now, but you will soon enough when he stars in Kathryn Bigelow's tentatively-titled Osama bin Laden thriller, "Zero Dark Thirty," with every other hot actor currently working. Ramírez had a minor role in "The Bourne Ultimatum," but his star-making turn came in the three-part miniseries "Carlos," where he plays one of the most notorious terrorists of all time. It's an impressive piece of work that leaves little doubt that Ramírez is the real deal and a soon-to-be star.

Despite some negative reviews for the original, "Clash of the Titans," the "Wrath of the Titans" is upon us (in 3D, no less) to follow-up its $500 million predecessor.

For the second adventure of Sam Worthington's Perseus, daddy Zeus comes a-callin' once again to ask his demi-god son to, you know, save all of mankind…again. Though no one releases the Kraken, there are plenty of Greek monsters to go around.

Here are our five reasons to check out "Wrath of the Titans" this weekend.
