At long last, Disney and "Avatar" have made the bond.

It's been announced that Disney Parks has partnered up for a long-term creative union with James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment and Fox Filmed Entertainment to develop the lush world of "Avatar" as part of Disney's Animal Kingdom and Walt Disney World Resort. In other words, it won't be long before you can make face-to-face peace with the Na'vi, and you won't even have to travel to Pandora to make it happen! Catch all of the details here.

So now that we know an "Avatar" attraction is bursting its way into reality --? though not until Cameron's back-to-back sequels are in theaters, so still quite a ways away --? what do we want to see from the Disney collaboration? Check out our wish list past the jump!

The Lion Kingby Uptin Saiidi

Anyone who's ever hummed the melody of “Circle Of Life” or can't escape the image of (spoiler alert?) Mufasa's terrified face after Scar releases him from a cliff to land to his death, should get excited for the release of “Lion King in 3D.” The movie was more than another Disney classic thrown into our childhood. For many of us, it was the first sad film we’d seen that moved us through despair and hope, through faith and love, ultimately teaching us about overcoming hardships and most importantly, our problem-free philosophy, hakuna matata.

What is a film with the title of “best-selling home entertainment movie of all time” supposed to do when they’ve shattered home-sales records? Come back to the big screen, but in 3D, of course! Sure, you're paying the movie theater price for a film you've already seen way too many times and often repeats on basic cable ... but can you really deny the animal kingdom popping out at the screen at you with more to see than can ever be seen, more to do than can ever be done, to once again, teach you about the circle of life? I think not. Plus, the 3-D experience is much cheaper than the Broadway show, so there’s that!

After the jump, check out the five “Lion King” scenes in 3-D that will take your experience in the animal kingdom to a whole new experience!

They say the first time is the hardest, but I beg to differ. With the news that J.J. Abrams is officially at the helm of the next installment in his “Star Trek” reboot, I’m sure Mr. Abrams is finding himself with some rather large shoes to fill -- and no shoes could be larger than his own (I think they must hover somewhere around Shaq’s rumored size 23).

In order for his next “Star Trek” movie to ascend to the heights of “Empire Strikes Back” (and not go the way of “Die Hard 2,” or countless other terrible sequels), Abrams truly has to outdo himself, in almost every way. Here are my tips on what has to happen next to prove to the public that 2009’s “Star Trek” wasn’t just a one-off, and that Abrams can do it once again, and this time, even better.

We're just two months away from "Breaking Dawn Part 1," so the wait for further "Twilight" goodness isn't too long. But for fans of the supernatural romance saga, it's an excruciating wait, especially given the latest tease-filled "Breaking Dawn" trailer that premiered this week.

In fairness, though, director Bill Condon gave fans exactly what they wanted: weddings, honeymoons, plenty of action and a whole lot of danger for poor Bella Swan. It was an epic trailer with a whole lot to unpack, so to keep you guys filled in on everything you need to know about the new "Twilight" flick, MTV News' Jocelyn Vena and I sat down and dissected the latest "Breaking Dawn" trailer.

The first image of Johnny Depp in character as Barnabus Collins for Tim Burton's hotly anticipated big screen adaptation of the late-60s soap opera "Dark Shadows" found its way online today and it is … well, it's just so wrong.

Depp wears heavy white makeup and exaggerated sideburns to play Collins, a 200-year-old vampire awakened during an attempted jewel theft in the Collins family mausoleum by Willie Loomis (Oscar nominee Jackie Earle Haley), and, frankly, the character appears to more closely resembles Depp's takes on Willy Wonka or the Mad Hatter than the mysterious, sexy vampire introduced on the cult classic series.

That's it, folks — the show's over. But even though "Entourage" aired its series finale last night, that doesn't mean the boys won't be back in town again sometime soon.

The cast and crew of "Entourage," producer Mark Wahlberg included, have long expressed their desire to bring the exploits of Hollywood star Vincent Chase and his trio of pals from the small screen to the big screen. Now that the show has ended with a finale that offered some closure but still left the door open for future adventures, it's time to start asking: what should the "Entourage" movie be about?

We've got some ideas for possible "Entourage" movie plots after the jump!

Darth VaderIt doesn’t take a lot of provocation to get sci-fi geeks griping (believe me, I’ve done my share). And perhaps the one subject that has prompted the most passionate protest over the past few decades is George Lucas messing with Star Wars.

The current cause for concern is the rumored changes to the original trilogy for the "Star Wars" Blu-ray debut, scheduled for release on September 16. Specifically, it’s the supposed addition of Darth Vader crying “Nooooooo!” as his son, Luke Skywalker, is electrocuted by his boss, Emperor Palpatine, that’s got fans complaining once again.

After watching this “new-and-improved” scene a couple of times, I have strong suspicions regarding its legitimacy. But if this change has indeed been made by Lucas, I have no choice but to join the rebellion and exclaim - if only in my brain – WTF?

"The Hunger Games" VMA sneak peek only gave fans of the series a brief taste of what's to come in the film adaptation, but fortunately, MTV News also has some exclusive commentary on the footage from director Gary Ross to give you guys more to chew on.

The experts weighed in earlier today on why they thought the teaser only showed Katniss, had a Gale voice over and lacked a significant amount of Peeta. The very first footage of "The Hunger Games" is set to debut this Sunday (August 29) at the MTV Video Music Awards. If this dystopian story, in which Katniss Everdeen must fight for her life in the kill-or-be-killed tournament that gives the film its ominous name, is new to you, there's still time to dive into the book on which it's based — a best-selling page-turner by Suzanne Collins — and get up to speed before the big VMA reveal.

To help along the way, consider this MTV News' own donation — a survival guide for the things Katniss must battle in the arena and the elements that aide in her quest to be crowned the victor of the 74th Hunger Games.

Hunger Games: Annual "Running Man"-esque tournament in which young Panem citizens collaborate and/or kill one another in the hope to a) not die and b) bring glory and much needed grub to their District.

Tribute: Name given to the contestants, two from each of the 12 Districts, picked every year to take part in the games. 74th games tributes include Katniss and Peeta from District 12, young Rue of District 11, and District 2 badass Cato.

Gamemakers: Unnamed puppet masters who set up the games and control all aspects of the arena, from weather to natural disasters to the introduction of nasty predators.
