As I mentioned earlier, MTV News is going to be everywhere at Comic-Con. They're all in transit right now though, which means the constant feed of information that we'll be getting from San Diego all this week and through the weekend hasn't officially started yet. There's plenty to be excited about though.

For starters, we've got those three, hour-long livestreams that I've been yapping about. They'll consist of live interviews from San Diego with the cast and crew from a diverse range of upcoming movies featured at the 'Con, including "Machete," "Tron Legacy," "Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World," "Red" and "The Green Hornet." Remember: we still want your questions! Those live shows are happening: tomorrow at 3pm ET/12pm PT, Friday at 3pm ET/12pm PT and Saturday at 6pm ET/3pm PT. Stay tuned to MTV to find out where you can check those out!

Of course, it wouldn't be San Diego Comic-Cons without panels and presentations. While those of us not in attendance won't necessarily get to see the juicy video reveals, we'll certainly be clicking to read all about them. I'm here now to run through the five big ones that you MTV Movies Blog readers in particular should be looking forward to... Read More...

It's safe to say that MTV News is hitting San Diego Comic-Con this year in a BIG way. We've got panel coverage. Interviews. Exclusives. Three livestreams, each an hour long. We'll be at the parties, on the show floor, checking out toys and comics and clips and trailers. Best of all, we want to get you, the readers, involved.

In short, send us your questions. We're talking to a ton of folks. Just about every one of the big ticket players in attendance. Our reporters on the scene will have plenty to talk about, but with so many interviews to keep straight, you're bound to think of stuff that we've forgotten. So if you've got questions for anyone listed in last night's press release, tweet them @joshuahorowitz (your best bet) or, if you don't have the Twitter, send them to us at And of course, stay tuned to MTV Movies Blog, MTV Splash Page and Hollywood Crush all this week and through the weekend for the latest breaking news coming out of San Diego.

Big news to announce today, dear readers. San Diego Comic-Con is a great time, but a lot of folks don't get to go. Always a bummer. Well MTV, in partnership with MySpace, has a solution for you. A pretty awesome solution.

Tomorrow, the MTV Movies team flies out to San Diego for the initial setup. Then, starting on Thursday July 22 at 12pm PT, MTV Movies managing editor Josh Horowitz will get up in front of the camera to host the first of three HOUR-LONG LIVESTREAMS. Expect plenty of surprises, but for now we can confirm that Josh will have face time with cast and crew from a range of highly anticipated upcoming movies, including "The Green Hornet," "Red," "Machete," "Tron Legacy," "Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World" and plenty more. That's all in ADDITION to the many articles and blog posts we'll be publishing covering any breaking news at the show. What's more, we'll have footage debuts from "Scott Pilgrim," "Goon" and "Batman: Under the Hood."

In all, there's a LOT to look forward to in the coming days. Make sure you stay tuned to MTV and MySpace for the latest updates from 2010 San Diego Comic-Con! Hit the jump for the full text of the press release, including the livestream schedule and lineup. Read More...

Rick Marshall and I freaked out today when group of boxes arrived from a pal of our in PR. We knew what this was. TOYS! Hasbro toys, to be precise. The kind you'll have to be in San Diego for Comic-Con to get your grubby, little hands on. As you can see, there's a lot of coolness on display here. I'm partial to the Autobot Blaster myself, the G1 figure that transforms into a boombox. This particular SDCC-exclusive Blaster comes with some miniature transforming cassette tapes and mighty slick packaging. Also dig the two Sgt. Slaughter action figures, which you can take a closer look at by clicking the image below.
