Cumberbatch’s casting in J.J. Abrams’ next "Trek" flick has turbocharged the 35-year-old actor’s ascent to superstardom, and with all of his current and upcoming high-profile film projects, he’s set to inherit Michael Fassbender’s title of It Movie Guy of the Year.

Deadline reports that Hemsworth is close to a deal to star in "Empire State," which they call an indie heist movie based on the story of a 1982 NYC armed car robbery. Steven Spielberg is reportedly very close to signing on to direct a biopic of the biblical hero Moses, and that makes this Good Jewish Girl very happy. Of course Mr. Spielberg, VIJ (Very Important Jew), can be trusted to tell the story of Moses with his usual brilliance.
