There are some things you should know about Anna Kendrick, things that have nothing to do with the fact that her new film, "Pitch Perfect," expands to wider release today. Dark things.

Fair warning: There's hammer violence.

In the newest episode of After Hours, Kendrick and MTV News' Josh Horowitz explore that darker side of the seemingly non-homicidal actress.

But things are not always as they appear.

Liam Neeson has released a few movies every year since the original "Taken" put him in the pantheon of badasses, but even with his busy schedule, he's sure to have some down time.

In the new episode of After Hours, Josh Horowitz learns what Neeson has been up to the hard way.

It is worth noting that the first step of troubleshooting a computer is always to release the Kraken.

"Taken 2" opens in theaters on October 5.

Blooper sure are wacky, aren't they? The gag reel at the end of movie can even get more laughs than the film itself. That's definitely the case when it comes to the bloopers for celebrity interviews. The only problem is that you rarely get to see what's left on the cutting room floor.

That's why the newest episode of After Hours is such a treat.

Watch in uncensored delight as the cast of "Butter," featuring Jennifer Garner, Ty Burrell, Olivia Wilde, Ashley Greene, and Rob Corddry, keep it real with MTV News' Josh Horowitz, and just maybe you'll learn that celebrities are people too, people who are afraid of gamma beams infiltrating our minds.

"Butter" opens in theaters on Friday, October 5 and is available now On Demand.

It's sort of an unwritten rule that if you play a vampire in a movie, you have to know everything about the mythical creature, which explains why MTV News' Josh Horowitz has a few questions for Andy Samberg and Selena Gomez in the latest After Hours.

Promoting their new film, "Hotel Transylvania," the duo hit on many vampire-related topics like drinking blood, the "Twilight" series, general sexiness, and even why Justin Bieber hasn't really aged at all.

You can watch the brand new episode of After Hours above, and you can see "Hotel Transylvania" in theaters on September 28.

Everyone knows that it takes starring in at least three sci-fi movies before you can consider yourself king or queen of the genre. With last year's "The Adjustment Bureau," this week's "Looper," and next year's "All You Need Is Kill," Emily Blunt finally qualifies for the title, but can she defend it?

MTV News' Josh Horowitz puts Blunt's status as the newly crowned queen of sci-fi to the test with a series of questions. Suffice it to say, she doesn't do so well. To be fair, some of those are pretty difficult questions, but we expect a little bit better from the queen of sci-fi.

But seriously, she needs to watch "Firefly" now.

"Looper" opens in theaters on Friday, September 28.

Move over, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint. Emma Watson's new partners in "American Talk" fame are her "Perks of Being a Wallflower" costars Ezra Miller and Logan Lerman.

This time, we see British and American cultures collide! MTV News's After Hours host extraordinaire Josh Horowitz puts Watson, Miller and Lerman on the spot as they are tasked with figuring out whether certain celebrities are British or American, and then are asked to show off their best imitation of the opposite culture's accent. Miller definitely won the game, but we give Lerman points for not going pure cockney and Watson an honorary prize for just being adorable.

If there's one thing you need to know about Nathan Fillion, one of the many Joss Whedon regulars showing up in his microbudget Shakespeare adaptation "Much Ado About Nothing," it's that the man gives amazing hugs.

Josh Horowitz went all the way to the Toronto International Film Festival to find out the secret behind a signature Fillion Man Hug.

Don't fear the hug. Embrace it. That's the Fillion way.

Ira Glass and Mike Birbiglia can now finally join the prestigious ranks of John C. Reilly, Steve Carell and Rainn Wilson as being some of the lucky few to be invited to hit After Hours programming "Up Close with Josh Horowitz." While we were disappointed by the lack of cuddling and massages this time around, we really think we cracked to the center of the duo's new film, "Sleepwalk With Me," in the latest short.

No topics were off limits in this in-depth interview, from Horowitz's dirty glasses to spelling Birbiglia's last name to just how easy it is to learn to drive. Glass and Birbiglia also spent some boring time discussing their new movie, which had a record-breaking opening weekend last week. But hey, we can talk about that any time. This is the time to get up close.

There are many things to learn from the latest edition of "The Yes/No Show," this time starring Jessica Chastain and Shia LaBeouf from "Lawless." For instance, did you know that "Demolition Man" is an essential film for LaBeouf.

Wait. Did we say "Demolition Man"? We meant "The Lawnmower Man."

Also, let's all just pretend not to be emotionally crushed because Shia LaBeouf doesn't call his penis Optimus Prime.

"Lawless" opens in theaters on August 29.

Loneliness can drive a man to do some crazy things. In the case of MTV News' Josh Horowitz, a desperate need for companionship leads him to call upon the services of the "Premium Rush" star and the summer's craziest villain, Michael Shannon, in the latest edition of After Hours.

What? Did you think Michael Shannon was some kind of non-non-sexual escort? That's disgusting. I'm honestly kind of grossed out by that. You're sick.
