"New Moon" is sort of what we're about today on MTV Movies Blog. That's what happens when you have such a record-setting opening, especially one that blows all analyst predictions out of the water. So next up on our "New Moon" media extravaganza today we've got some views from the red carpet at the New York City premiere last week. A ton of peeps came out, from RPattz and KStew, their lovable furry third wheel Taylor Lautner and a variety of celebrity guests, including Howard Stern and his wife Beth, Natalie Portman and MTV's own Alexa Chung.

If The 'New Moon' Weekend Success Didn't Make It Clear Enough, 'Twilight' Has TAKEN OVER

I hope y'all are ready for a full day of "New Moon" coverage. Because it came out of the weekend with the biggest all-time records broken for midnight openings and Friday openings. And it's number three for top all-time opening weekends, behind "The Dark Knight" and "Spider-Man 3" (no, there's no accounting for taste with Spidey).

So let me make this absolutely clear for everyone: "Twilight" is officially everywhere. EVERYWHERE. And like the vampires it portrays, the franchise is starting to infect every facet of pop culture. Just take a look at our "Twilight" Takeover flipbook gallery to see for yourself.

FROM HOLLYWOOD CRUSH: After months of filming in rain-drenched Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, "New Moon" stars Nikki Reed and Kellan Lutz must have felt right at home in Manhattan as a persistent drizzle lingered over the city. But unlike shoots for their vampire romance, the onscreen duo stayed toasty and dry inside the Times Square Toys "R" Us greeting fans and signing autographs for the final leg of the "Twilight" mall tour.

About 500 lovely ladies and a few fellows (not a surprising ratio by now) waited for hours in a line that snaked around the block, with some like Julianne Castillo and Vanesa Rayes, both 18 from Jamaica, Queens, having been outside since before 6 a.m.

"We got up at four o'clock in the morning. We were outside by 5:30 in the morning," Julianne said. "We want to be the first ones on line. That's when all the excitement is there from the actors. We want to have the energy on that paper."

Hi Res 'Alice In Wonderland' Posters Surface, With The Caterpillar!

Last week, we got our first look at Alan Rickman's Caterpillar in the upcoming Tim Burton-directed "Alice in Wonderland." It was a slightly blurry magazine scan, not necessarily how you'd want to have your first glimpse of the beloved character.

Well you don't have to worry about that anymore. Disney finally issued the full, hi-res images, three posters which combine into a triptych. They'd previously been available exclusively on the Disloyal Subjects of the Mad Hatter Facebook page, but now we have them here for you. Tim Burton's Career Retrospective At MoMA... In Pictures!

Yesterday, we paid a visit to New York City's Museum of Modern Art to take a peek at the upcoming Tim Burton career retrospective exhibit (running from November 22 -- Sunday! -- to April 26, 2010). We've got interviews and video... and PICTURES! There's some crazy stuff in there, including a concept drawing of Brainiac from Burton's aborted "Superman Lives" project. The Blu-ray/DVD isn't the only "Star Trek"-related piece of awesome hitting stores today. Serious fans can also pick up "Star Trek: The Art of the Film," from Titan Books. We ran a few exclusive monster design sketches last week to psych you up, and now we have a couple more looks at the book.

These are no sketches though. Oh no... we've got photos to share today. Two of them. First up is a look at the rebooted bridge of the U.S.S. Enterprise, from various angles. Pretty badass, but it doesn't compare to the second one. It's a full Enterprise crew cast shot taken on the bridge, only Abrams himself is in the captain's chair. As he should be. The poster above you might've seen before, but I love the design of it so much that I'm running it to go with this post. Hit the jump for the exclusive hotness.

Have you been watching "V"? Good show so far. An interesting fusion of the original's basic idea with underlying themes made relevant for today's audiences. I'm looking forward to seeing where things go.

Tonight, they'll go to seemingly amicable places as the Visitors are granted legal visitation status on the planet Earth. I somehow doubt that will last very long. Born on May 13, 1986 in London, England, the hunk started out his career rather appropriately by following in his mother’s modeling footsteps at age 12. Ironically, he would later come out and explain that the reason this stint in the fashion world lasted only four years was because he was tall and feminine and it was at a time where “the androgynous look was cool.” Once he started looking more like masculine man we have grown to know and love, the job pool dried up.

'Ninja Assassin' Is Coming, And These Pictures Are The Proof

Seriously, the November 25 release of "Ninja Assassin" is really close. Enough so that I can taste the blood in my mouth, which will surely be there after the unbridled awesome that director James McTeigue brings to the screen leaves my ass kicked. I didn't love his "V for Vendetta," but it was definitely beautiful. "Ninja Assassin" is similarly eye-catching, and the story will probably fare better since it's not bound to any source material.
