Oz the Great and Powerful

My, what perfect timing. The same day that Disney is releasing "Oz the Great and Powerful," it's also been revealed that a sequel is in the works.

No, that sequel won't be "The Wizard of Oz." After all, there's a lot of time between the end of "Oz" and the beginning of "Wizard" to see what shenanigans Oscar Diggs and Glinda can get into. Variety writes that "Oz the Great and Powerful" co-screenwriter Mitchell Kapner has been tapped by Disney to write a sequel based on L. Frank Baum's novel "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz."

Breaking Dawn

The love story of Shovelface and Mouth Breather comes to an end in the final installment of Honest Trailer's take on "The Twilight Saga," "Breaking Dawn." The hilarious takedown of the final two "Twilight" movies doesn't just mock Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, but also the Cullens, the "Snow Dogs" and the fact that vampires don't even sparkle in the sunlight anymore. Hey, that's a good point!

The funniest parts come from the Honest Trailers montage of all of "Breaking Dawn's" stares, the need for four different chess games and KStew's inability to apply toothpaste to a toothbrush. Yes, really, it happened. Check out the video after the jump!

Sad news, James Bond fans: Sam Mendes isn't going to direct "Bond 24." Despite early reports to the contrary, Mendes has confirmed that he's passed on the project.

"Directing 'Skyfall' was one of the best experiences of my professional life, but I have theatre and other commitments, including productions of 'Charlie And The Chocolate Factory' and 'King Lear,' that need my complete focus over the next year and beyond."

Jon Stewart is taking a break from "The Daily Show," but don't be alarmed. The comedian has lined up his directorial debut, and plans to film it over the summer.

The movie will be called "Rosewater," Deadline reports, and is an adaptation of the book "Then They Came For Me: A Family's Story of Love, Captivity and Survival." Needless to say, this doesn't sound like it's going to be a comedy.

Wreck-It Ralph

Considering the success "Wreck-It Ralph" had in theaters, it's no wonder that director Rich Moore is cooking up a sequel to the movie. He opened up about his plans for a "Wreck-It Ralph 2" when asked during a recent interview if there were other Fix It Felix, Jr. arcade games with Ralph's personality out in the film's world.

"That is so funny that you ask that because I was just talking to John C. Reilly [the voice of Ralph] and we were talking about exactly that," Moore told Hypable. As it turns out, that's one route Moore is thinking of going with his upcoming sequel.

Fast & Furious 6

Instead of progressing the "Fast and Furious" storyline in "Fast & Furious 6," star Vin Diesel and director Justin Lin are actually taking the movie a step backwards. As Diesel explained in a new featurette for the movie, this new installment of the fan-favorite series will serve to introduce audiences to the real version of Michelle Rodriguez' character Letty.

"In some ways, this film is the origin story of Letty," Diesel explained. Rodriguez added, "It will be interesting to see how you take up a character that — you have to watch it, I can't really explain much without giving it away."

Angelina Jolie

Here's a collaboration we never thought we'd see: Angelina Jolie has tapped Joel and Ethan Coen to rewrite her next directorial effort, "Unbroken."

That's right, The Hollywood Reporter reports that Jolie has managed to wrangle the Coen Brothers to make sure that her next film will be in the best shape it can possibly be. This movie has been in development at Universal for over 50 years, but Jolie only recently took the project from former helmer Francis Lawrence. If the movie had script issues, the Coens really are the right people to be asked to straighten them out.
