At long last, we have the first look at Rian Johnson's new movie "Looper." The teaser trailer for the film premiered over the weekend at WonderCon, so hopefully that will hit the web soon as well, but until then we can spend our time analyzing the new shots of Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a young Bruce Willis.

According to /Film, Gordon-Levitt would go through three hours of make up a day to transform into a man who believably looked like he would one day grow up to look like Willis. In addition, Gordon-Levitt spent a lot of time studying Willis's films -- particularly "Sin City" -- to try to learn the little quirks of the older actor's style. Judging by the two pictures released, it looks like Gordon-Levitt did a pretty good job.

Stop whatever you're doing right now, because we've got the best video you're going to watch on the Internet all day. Kermit the Frog and Walter recently stopped by the MTV News office to promote the upcoming DVD release of "The Muppets," and they were kind enough to sit down with us for the latest edition of Talk Nerdy.

Yes, it is as amazing as it sounds. The pair talk "The Avengers," "The Hunger Games," "Twilight" and plenty of "The Muppets" with MTV Movies Blog editor and resident nerd Josh Wigler. Walter points out that Disney could have saved an awful lot of money on "The Avengers" by just casting Kermit as the Hulk and himself as Captain America, and we've got to admit, we agree (sorry Mark Ruffalo and Chris Evans, you're great too).

And we agree one hundred percent with Walter when he said, "I think that's the problem with a lot of movies, is they need more Muppets. That's my motto." Could you even imagine?

"Battleship" might not be charging into theaters until May 18, but fans lucky enough to be attending WonderCon in Anaheim, Calif. this weekend will be in for a treat. In addition to Universal hosting a panel showcasing the film, director Peter Berg and star Brooklyn Decker will be signing exclusive artwork for the movie designed by comics artist Jock.

MTV News has an exclusive first look at the poster that shows off "Battleship's" alien villains. We don't know too much about the extraterrestrials, but they look pretty intimidating right here and now. And, as Jock worked as a concept designer on the film, it seems safe to say that this version is a good representation of what we'll be seeing on the big screen.

Keep reading to see the full piece of art, debuting at WonderCon this Saturday (March 17).

This year marks the big acting comeback for Arnold Schwarzenegger. He'll have a role in the upcoming sequel "The Expendables 2," but he's also been busy filming projects like "The Last Stand" and "The Tomb." They' all can be classified as typical "Arnold" movies, so it's safe to say that fans of the Austrian actor are pretty stoked to see him returning to films in such a big way.

But no one -- and I mean no one -- is more excited about his return to the big screen than his "Last Stand" costar Genesis Rodriguez. MTV News caught up with her while she was promoting her new movie "Casa de Mi Padre," and asked her to talk a bit about her involvement with Schwarzenegger in the movie. She wouldn't give away anything from the plot, but her excitement for the project was a bit contagious.

John Carter

All that talk about "John Carter's" weak box office draw and the slew of critics now deeming the film a failure from the get-go isn't stopping fans from demanding a sequel.

The Facebook petition encourages more people to go out and watch "John Carter" and also consists of fans sharing their own memories and experiences with Edgar Rice Burroughs' genre-defining series.

There should be no doubts in anyone's mind that the crazy minds behind "Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs" could come up with something equally nuts and awesome for their planned "Lego" movie. And, as we assumed, they have.

MTV News caught up with director/writers Phil Lord and Chris Miller while they were promoting their newest directorial effort "21 Jump Street" to find out if they had an update on the status of the as-yet-untitled "Lego" movie. Turns out they're well into pre-production on the project, and will likely even start casting soon.

There might be some life left in "The Dark Tower" after all. Ron Howard and Brian Grazer's ambitious three-films-and-two-TV-series adaptation plan might have had Universal running for the hills, but it got HBO interested in the TV portion and now reportedly has another studio looking to produce the films as well.

Deadline is reporting that Warner Bros is "very close" to making a deal to allow Howard to at least direct the first "Dark Tower" film. Since both the WB and HBO are owned by Time Warner, it feels like a match made in heaven. HBO is a perfect home for King's brand of fantasy, and Warner Bros is already hard at work bringing an adaptation of "The Stand" to the big screen, so the pairing makes sense.

At long last, we finally get our first look at Javier Bardem in "Skyfall!" The only thing is that the "No Country for Old Men" actor looks as decidedly un-Javier Bardem as we've ever seen him.

Sporting a British police officer's uniform and a blonde wig, Bardem can be seen walking around the "Skyfall" set in London. It's unclear what he's doing, but Daily Mail (who has the photos) seems to think that the scene involves Bardem going toe-to-toe with Daniel Craig's James Bond.

So is Bardem actually playing a police officer or isn't he? That's yet to be seen. In fact, these photos tell us just about as much as we know to date about his onscreen character. It is known that he is playing a Bond villain in "Skyfall," so my guess is that he is actually a bit more than meets the eye in this leaked scene.
