The first official poster for "Ender's Game" has been released.
The reveal comes courtesy of Yahoo! Movies, and the poster shows Ender suited up as he stares out of the Battle School. Though it has a "Tron: Legacy" feel to it, the poster is a nice tease for fans who know what they have to expect in the new movie.

Will Smith has revealed a main reason why he turned down the role of Django in "Django Unchained." To hear him tell it, it's because Django wouldn't be the lead role in the movie.
"Django wasn't the lead, so it was like, I need to be the lead. The other character [Christoph Waltz's Oscar-winning King Schultz] was the lead!" Smith told Entertainment Weekly. "I was like 'No, Quentin, please, I need to kill the bad guy!"

Michael Bay is doing his best to assemble a dreamy cast for a movie that stars CGI turtles. It is being reported that "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" stud Alan Ritchson has joined the cast of Bay's upcoming "Ninja Turtles" as Raphael.
We get it... sort of. Ritchson needed to prove he was good with a dagger in "Catching Fire" in order to portray the character Gloss, and that skill will come into play with Raphael. As the teenage mutant ninja turtle wields twin sai, Ritchson needs to be able to use the weapons adeptly.

Remember that "Lego" movie? The one called, fittingly, "The Lego Movie"? The project isn't due out in theaters until February 7, 2014, but the title logo has just been released. Though it doesn't share much in the way of plot details, the image that's debuted is a clever take on the building block toys that many played with in their youths.
Don't think that this movie is going to be as simple as its title logo implies, though. "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller teamed up with "Robot Chicken's" Chris McKay to bring this story to life, and it actually is described as a pretty intense fantasy adventure. Couple that with the fact that it has an amazing array of actors on board to voice characters and we're definitely looking forward to this film.

Joseph Kosinski's "Oblivion" shows a new science fiction universe, and a recently released featurette for the movie highlights the creation of the movie's "Bubbleship" spaceship.
"The whole philosophy for the movie was to try to shoot everything in camera, so we decided it made sense to build a full scale version of the Bubbleship," Kosinski said in the video, adding that "Oblivion's" leading man had a big part in the ship's creation. "[Star Tom Cruise] had some input on the controls to make sure it felt as realistic as possible with the foot pedals and the control stick."

Want a Sparknotes version of the excitement coming in the new "Fast and the Furious" movie, "Fast & Furious 6"? Well, you're in luck, because the latest TV spot released by Universal Pictures features all the high points from the movie.
There will be explosions. And a tank. And a crashing plane. And a partnership between Dom and Hobbs. And the return of Michelle Rodriguez. Oh, and there looks like there will be some awesome driving scenes along the way. Like we said, this 30-second teaser summarizes all we need to know about the movie to be interested in it in half a minute.

R.L. Stine's beloved horror series "Goosebumps" is making its way to the big screen. "Jack the Giant Killer" writer Darren Lemke was hired to pen a script for the movie back in 2012, and now it's being reported that "Monsters vs. Aliens" director Rob Letterman is in negotiations to helm the project.
Deadline has the news, stating that this isn't a done deal yet. Letterman has experience with both animated and live action, CGI-heavy films, and our guess is that this "Goosebumps" adaptation will be the latter. He certainly knows how to make movies that cater to families, though this will be his first foray into the world of horror.

"Godzilla" has officially started filming, and now a video has been released by Legendary Pictures that shows director Gareth Edwards on set. It was taken right after the "Godzilla" crew filmed the movie's first shot, and Edwards seems ready to burst with excitement about finally getting the film underway.
"Hi Legendary fans, it's Gareth and this is day one of a very long shoot for 'Godzilla' and we've just finished the first shot. It went great," Edwards said. "I can't tell you any more, you'll have to see the movie."

"Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" will be fighting the good fight for another day. A sequel for the movie is being developed, and the announcement comes less than two months after the Gemma Arterton and Jeremy Renner-starring film hit theaters.
Deadline has the news, and credits the movie's global box office success as a main reason that a follow up is being made. MGM and Paramount have reportedly confirmed that a sequel is being worked on, with Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Kevin Messick and Beau Flynn expected to return as producers.

James Cameron is still trudging away on his "Avatar" sequels. He has long been in development on "Avatar 2" and "3," and revealed in a new interview that he's fully engrossed in the world of Pandora.
"I'm working on 'Avatar 2' and 'Avatar 3.' I was talking the other day with Peter Jackson and said, 'You had it easy dude. You had the books when you did the second and third 'Lord of the Rings.' I have to create my own books in my head and extract a script from it," he told Play Goes Strong. "I'm deep into it and I'm living in Pandora right now. There is that start up torque where you feel it's coming to you. Then you build up momentum. That's when it gets fun. The characters talk and it's writing itself. I'm almost there right now. It's building fast."
