Paranormal Activity 5

The world is going to continue to experience some paranormal activity in 2013.

Paramount Pictures has announced the release date for "Paranormal Activity 5," which will hit theaters on October 25, 2013. No word yet on which actors will return for the film or who will direct it, but Paramount was quick to announce the film around the time "Paranormal Activity 4" hit theaters.

With the "Tarantino XX" Blu-ray collection hitting store shelves today, now seems like as good a time as any to take a look back at one of the most influential filmmakers of our generation. MTV News has an exclusive look at one of the bonus features on this exciting boxed set, which shows Pam Grier talking about the moment she first learned Quentin Tarantino wanted her to play the title character in "Jackie Brown."

"They delivered this manuscript in a manila envelope and it says 'QT' in the corner and there's all these little stamps all over it, and I'm going, 'Okay, I'll open it,' and there it is: 'Jackie Brown,'" she remembers in the clip, which comes from "The World's Greatest Showman" special feature. "So I read it, and there's a note and it says, 'Please read it and call me when you read it.' And I'm reading it, and I'm going, 'Oh my god, it's remarkable, it's extraordinary.'"

Fast Six

In a few more months, we'll get our first look at "Fast & Furious 6." Appropriately, that reveal will take place during one of the most testosterone-filled events of the year.

Star Vin Diesel took to his Facebook account to reveal that the first look at the upcoming "Fast & Furious" movie will happen during Super Bowl XLVII, which airs on February 3, 2013. Though Diesel has been posting plenty of pictures from the "Fast & Furious 6" set, we haven't seen any official video thus far.

MTV News has been covering "The Twilight Saga" for a very long time, and news correspondent/"After Hours" host Josh Horowitz has been there for most of it. He already wrote a long thank-you letter to the series for all its done for him professionally, but that wasn't enough for Horowitz. No, he also wanted to make sure that he checked off every item on his "Twilight" bucket by the time the "Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" premiere was over.

Could he do it? Did he get drunk with the cast? Have prolonged physical contact with some of our favorite actors? Provoke startling revelations from those he spoke with? Well, you'll just have to watch the above video to find out. Once you're done, please continue to mourn the fact that there won't be any more "Twilight"-themed "After Hours" just like you have been doing all weekend.

What is on your "Twilight Saga" bucket list? Tell us in the comments section below or on Twitter!

RoboCop

RoboCop has received quite the makeover for the upcoming remake of the classic film. Jose Padilha's "RoboCop" is faster, stronger and more accurate than we last saw him, at least according to a licensing video that has leaked.

The video comes from IMC Licensing (via /Film) and has since been removed, but the info that's been reported from that behind-the-scenes look at the movie tells us a lot about the film. The video is obviously a bit old as it didn't have the new "RoboCop" release date, but the rest of the information seems to be accurate. Find out more after the jump.

Transformers 4

"Transformers 4" might have its leading man, but what about the rest of its cast?

Less than a week after Mark Wahlberg was confirmed for the upcoming "Transformers" movie, a report has come out with details on the supporting cast for the film. It seems like claims that the movie would have a female lead weren't far off, as The Hollywood Reporter has learned that director Michael Bay is casting for the role of Wahlberg's character's daughter.

We've known for a while that Robert Pattinson is a dog person, so what better way to find out who he really is than by forcing him to pick out which dog is cuter? That's why MTV After Hours is here to ask the tough questions — or in this case, the "Ruff Decisions."

Tom Hardy

Now here's a video game adaptation that we can totally get behind. According to a new report, Tom Hardy has signed on to star in a big screen take on "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell."

Video game publisher and developer Ubisoft is already riding high thanks to the news that Michael Fassbender is slated to star in and co-produce an adaptation of "Assassin's Creed," and this news is arguably even more exciting. Variety broke the Hardy news, though little else is known about the project.

Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise is likely reuniting with a familiar face for the latest "Mission: Impossible" movie: Christopher McQuarrie.

According to new reports, McQuarrie is likely to take on the upcoming "Mission: Impossible 5," but Paramount Pictures is waiting to hire writers for the film before making it official. Deadline has the news, and also comments that this project is in its "early stages."

It sounds like things went the way Paramount and Cruise wanted with the upcoming "Jack Reacher." McQuarrie also wrote and directed that action film, which is due out on December 21.

Chris Hemsworth

Chris Hemsworth was "Thor," the "Huntsman" and an ill-fated visitor to a "Cabin in the Woods" this year, but he's not done yet. The actor is busy lining up even more projects to tackle next, and he's honing in on two in particular.

The Film Stage is reporting that Hemsworth is considering Stephen Gaghan's "Candy Shop" and a Jeremy Weintraub-produced Steve McQueen biopic (not to be confused with the one Jeremy Renner is working on). Interestingly enough, the biopic, currently titled "Triumph AKA 40 Summers Ago," also has his little brother Liam Hemsworth attached.
