Last night, Conan O'Brien had his big "Breaking Bad"-themed episode, dedicated to the show's final season, and he brought out the entire cast plus Vince Gilligan to discuss everything about the best show on television.

Conan first brought out Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, who had a number of fascinating stories to share, including one very passionate piece of fan mail that described an erotic "Breaking Bad" fantasy.

The duo also reminisced about reading the final script together, an occasion that was filmed and will be featured in a documentary included in the complete series Blu-ray.

One piece of news that made the Disney acquisition of Lucasfilm bittersweet was the end of the beloved "Star Wars: Clone Wars" series on Cartoon Network. Diehards of the show followed for seasons as we learned what went down during the intervening years between "Attack of the Clones" and "Revenge of the Sith," but under Disney's redirection, "Clone Wars" came to an end with the promise of more "Star Wars" animation to come.

The promise was fulfilled by the announcement of "Star Wars Rebels," a new animated show taking place between the two trilogies, and now some recognizable names are in talks to voice the characters from that galaxy far, far away.

The Hollywood Reporter just published a story claiming that "The Butler" breakout David Oyelow — who was rumored last week for "Episode VII" — and Freddie Prinze Jr. are among the voice actors joining the project.

Cinderella

Disney just sent out an announcement for the start of production on "Cinderella," the studio's next play at turning one of their classic animated movies into a modernized live-action blockbuster.

This time, they're retelling the rag-to-riches story that we all know. Kenneth Branaugh will be directing the fairytale as a follow-up to his last movie — also with Disneey — "Thor." He will lead an all-star cast that is headed up by "Downton Abbey's" Lily James and "Game of Thrones" star Richard Madden as the future princess and current prince.

"It is impossible to think of Cinderella without thinking of Disney and the timeless images we've all grown up watching. And those classic moments are irresistible to a filmmaker," Branaugh said in the announcement. "With Lily James we have found our perfect Cinderella. She combines knockout beauty with intelligence, wit, fun and physical grace. Her Prince is being played by Richard Madden, a young actor with incredible power and charisma. He is funny, smart and sexy and a great match for Cinderella."

FROM NEXT MOVIE

Anyone with a smartphone can shoot something and call it a movie, but making a film in the traditional sense hasn't gotten any easier with the advent of new technology. There are dozens and dozens of gatekeepers that still keep wannabe writers and directors from realizing their dream when the budget balloons to something bigger than the video you made with your cat.

That's why you have to jump at an opportunity like the one The Weinstein Company is offering in association Next Movie and Film.com.

The "Master Storyteller" contest was created to find new and exciting talent and to give writers and opportunity to pitch their original ideas directly to the people who can help them become a reality. All you have to do is submit an entirely original treatment between 200 and 1,000 words in length.

The five finalists will be considered for the winning pitch, which will then be developed by the respected studio.

Head over to Next Movie for the full details on the "Master Storyteller" contest.

As evidence by the two set photos from last week, production has started on "Fast and Furious 7," and we're just about as excited as Vin Diesel. And Vin Diesel is very, very excited.

Universal Studios posted this video of Diesel from the Atlanta set on the very first day of filming "Fast and Furious 7," which, from what new series director James Wan has stated, will take on the tone of a gritty '70s revenge thriller.
