Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters

In 2008, "Twilight" superfan Laura Culpepper won a contest to be our MTV Movie Awards guest blogger. Now she's an MTV News intern.

It comes as no surprise that Robert Pattinson is one of this year's Male Pop MVPs. In a matter of months, the "Twilight" star skyrocketed from anonymity to become one of the most adored (and screamed at) actors who has probably ever lived.

To many, he is known as Edward Cullen, but what about the future? He will play Salvador Dalí in "Little Ashes," but he dropped out of the film "Parts Per Billion" due to "New Moon" obligations. Somewhere, a producer is crying.

Before the most-anticipated film of the year, "Twilight," opens November 21, we're celebrating with 10 Days of "Twilight," featuring exclusive interviews, scenes, photos and more. Check back each day!

Hey Twilighters! You may remember me from this past summer when I won MTV's guest blogger contest for the Movie Awards and, amongst other things, was surprised by the one and only Robert Pattinson.

I was completely honored when MTV News asked me back to interview him again this past week, and this time it was my turn to surprise him. I only assume this considering the first words out of his mouth when he saw me were, "What are you doing here? Did you change your hair?" (watch a sneak peek below and then click here to watch the entire interview where Rob discusses his "Twilight" soundtrack contribution, underwear buying habits and more).

The fact that he remembered me from the summer really stuck out for me, considering many celebrities would find that to be a difficult feat. Read More...

Our guest blogger Laura Culpepper was selected to help us cover the Movie Awards and all its preshow events (and giving her some surprises as well). She was a great addition to the team, and with the 2008 show concluded, we asked her to reflect on her last day and what the experience meant.

Well, it's all over now. This afternoon I will be flying back to Alabama to resume my very uneventful life until the fall. It will be a bit strange not seeing celebrities everyday or hanging out with everybody here at MTV News, but all good things must come to an end.

Will Smith, Jaden Smith and The Rock

I started the day yesterday pretty early to once again stand-in on some rehearsals for the preshow. After that it was a bit of a "hurry up and wait" situation, but once the stars started walking it went by extremely fast. Read More...

Our guest blogger Laura Culpepper will be covering the highlights from now through the big show on Sunday, so check in daily as she live-blogs her Movie Awards experience!

Today was really fun, but not because of celebrities or movie screenings. Instead, I spent the day at the Gibson Amphitheatre, which is where the MTV Movie Awards will happen tomorrow.

The atmosphere was energetic as crew members began putting the final touches on the area. First we walked down the gold carpet and into the auditorium where the actual awards will take place (it looks pretty rad, by the way). Read More...

Hey everyone! Yesterday was crazy, but I've rested up now and I'm getting ready for the big awards tomorrow. There were two screenings yesterday: "Kung Fu Panda" starring Jack Black and "Pineapple Express" starring Seth Rogen and James Franco.

First stop was to Paramount for the "Kung Fu Panda" screening. I'm usually not a big fan of animation, but this one was surprisingly good! There were some pretty awesome action scenes, and Jack Black did a great job of giving Po, the main character, a voice. The Q&A after was great, and we even got to see Jack show off some Kung Fu moves of his own.

MTV News' Kim Stolz also interviewed Jack, dressed in a Panda costume, no less. Read More...

So, MTV knows I'm a huge Twilight fan. I was unsure if I would do anything related to "Twilight" while I was here since Robert, Kristen, and Cam were only going to be at the awards and I wasn't sure what I'd be doing then, so I didn't arrive with any expectations.

I woke up this morning and was taken to one of the two MTV offices here in L.A. to shoot my video introduction to readers on the blog. I was pretty nervous because I am a horrible speaker and not used to looking into a camera or anything. I was filming the fifth or sixth take of my introduction, when Robert Pattinson tapped me on the shoulder and asked me if I wanted to be one of the first people to see the first scene from "Twilight" (you can watch it too during the Movie Awards preshow this Sunday, June 1 at 7:30pm ET!). The rest is history.

Hey everyone! I touched down in L.A. earlier today, and I've been pretty much on the go ever since! Today has been crazy, but so much fun. I've never visited L.A. before, so it's been amazing to just ride around and see some of the famous sights the city holds such as Sunset Strip, Bel Air, Beverly Hills, etcetera. I also had my first celebrity "encounter": "7th Heaven" castmember Tyler Hoechlin passed by us in his car.

After a little cruising around it was time to head to the Arclight Theatre for the MTV Sneak Peek Week screening of "Get Smart," starring Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway. Read More...
