We always knew that Nite Owl was the most sensitive of the "Watchmen" crime-fighting team, but Patrick Wilson's newly announced crossover into the realm of comedy is really sealing the deal.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wilson is set to star in "Morning Glory," a comedy from director Roger Michell for Paramount Studios. The actor joins an all-star cast that includes Harrison Ford, Rachel McAdams, Diane Keaton and Jeff Goldblum. Read More...

FROM SPLASH PAGE: With the "Green Lantern" casting rumors running rampant -- is Chris Pine in, or is he out? -- it's hard to identify a reliable bit of news regarding the developing DC superhero flick. But there is at least one thing you can count on -- Hal Jordan, whoever he may be, is heading to Australia.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the superhero feature will shoot in Sydney, Australia at Fox Studios Australia. Pre-production on the movie is set to begin this July with filming slated for November. "Green Lantern" is planned for a December 2010 release.

Jackie Earle Haley's casting as the new Freddy Krueger in the "Nightmare on Elm Street" reboot has been welcomed by horror fans thanks largely to the actor's terrifying performances in "Little Children" and as Rorschach in "Watchmen." But it looks like "Watchmen" isn't the only beloved property making a leap into the latest horror remake, as John Connor himself is heading out of the "Terminator" war to do battle with Freddy Krueger himself.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, "Terminator Salvation" director McG is attached as the director/producer of "Spring Awakening," based on the smash-hit Broadway rock musical from Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik. FROM SPLASH PAGE: Just when you thought it was dead -- or at least a long ways away -- the long-awaited "Sin City 2” has reared its ugly head. But if you believe this latest rumor, the rough-and-gruff tough-guy ensemble is about to get a whole lot prettier.
Clint Morris at Moviehole reports that "Wanted" star Angelina Jolie is in "serious talks" to star in "Sin City 2." Morris says, according to a "high-profile producer friend," that the filmmakers are actively trying to get the actress to commit to the "Sin City" sequel.

The stars are literally aligning for the upcoming McG-directed "Terminator Salvation." With rumors of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton lending their likeness and voice talents, respectively, it was only a matter of time before another "Terminator 2” veteran got linked to the project -- the dreaded T-1000 himself, Robert Patrick.
In an interview with FEARNet, McG discussed the idea of having Patrick return for an eventual "Terminator 5” as a scientist working to improve health standards for mankind. "Imagine seeing a sixty-year-old Robert Patrick and knowing, 'Holy sh--! That's gonna be the T-1000,'" McG declared. Read More...
