Bret Michaels knows a thing or two about women. He might know a few more things about love. So that's why, when the "American Pie" team needed a male expert in all things love and peanut butter, the "Rock of Love" star and Poison frontman seemed like the likely candidate to make a cameo in "American Pie Presents: The Book of Love," which hits stores today.
"Well here's what I know. These are the facts. Obviously I'm very aware of the series," he told MTV News. "They had actually called and said 'Look we have this part and we think it would be funny. It's a very peanut butter-oriented part, in which no one will ever look at peanut butter the same again.'" Read More...
FROM MTV.COM: Marion Cotillard's work in the splashy new musical "Nine" earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress - Comedy or Musical on Tuesday morning (December 15). That's a good indication that the Oscar-winning actress successfully got over her initial fears about having to dance and sing in very little clothing while acting opposite the great Daniel Day-Lewis.
Which factor was most intimidating? "At the beginning of the process, it would be Daniel, dancing half-naked and singing," Cotillard told MTV News. "I was very intimidated by Daniel, and then you get to know him and to work with him and when you start working and the working process ... I mean, the admiration grows, if it can grow, because it was already so big."

FROM MTV.COM: Although there's been no official word about the plans to turn the fourth book in the "Twilight" Saga, "Breaking Dawn," into a flick, sources speculate that if the film should happen, it will be split into two parts and "New Moon" director Chris Weitz may hop on board to direct again.
But if any of that is happening, someone should tell "Twilight" star Peter Facinelli, because he currently knows nothing about the status of the movie. "No, we don't know anything yet," he told MTV News at Z100's Jingle Ball on Friday. "Usually the fans know before me. I've been combing the Web sites to see if we're doing a fourth movie. We'll see."

As if learning that the Peter Bishop we all know and love is an alternate dimension version of the dead Peter Bishop wasn't heartbreaking enough for the audience, "Fringe" star Anna Torv thinks that when Peter, aka Joshua Jackson, also realizes he's been living a lie will be equally "devastating."
"I don’t know cause Olivia doesn’t know yet," she told MTV News. "But I think that’s what we're gearing to towards the end of the season... I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's going to explode at some point." Read More...
Call them "cult classics." "Guilty pleasures." "Comfort movies." We all have a mental rolodex of flicks that may not be terribly popular but, for one reason or another, they resonate in a very special way. Maybe you saw it at the right moment. Maybe you just see gold where everyone else sees feces. Whatever the case, these are the special favorites that you keep stashed away for sick days. Here are some of ours.
Bette Midler. Sarah Jessica Parker. Goldie Hawn. Diane Keaton. Do I need to say more?

FROM HOLLYWOOD CRUSH: Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus are young, beautiful, rich and famous so it isn't at all surprising that the two girls, in their off-time (which we imagine is rare to come by) like to spend their time frolicking in bathing suits.
This week, Taylor released a video of herself dancing on the beach, jumping into the ocean and standing under a waterfall. The video is pretty much just Taylor having fun, but it's interesting to see the usually covered-up pop star, so scantily clad.
