The death of groundbreaking actress Lena Horne got conversations off to a sad start in Twitter-Wood this morning. News that fantasy and comics artist Frank Frazetta passed away as well sent a few more ripples.

Meanwhile, some of Twitter's biggest names like Ashton Kutcher and Justin Bieber woke up to find out that their follower counts had been reduced to zero. Their initial shock was tempered by news that hackers might have been behind some trouble on the site, but everything appears to be back to normal for now. Click on past the jump to find out how all of this news was received in Twitter-Wood for May 10, 2010. Read More...

Jon Favreau confirmed earlier this year that he included the revered Hollywood sound sample "The Wilhelm Scream" in "Iron Man 2," but last night on Twitter, he stopped short of revealing where it ended up. I'm going to to see it tonight and see if I can figure it out. In the meantime, give it a listen, and report back here if you can identify the scene.

In other tweets, Lloyd Kaufman weighed in on the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. He also expressed disgust on the part of the Toxic Avenger. Rachelle Lefevre is helping Oprah out this weekend, and Alison Brie posted a pic from her "Community" rehearsal. You can give that a look after the jump along with Larry King's photo op with Betty White. It's all Twitter-Wood for May 7, 2010. Read More...

Whether or not you have an opinion about the general election going on in Great Britain right now, you can surely agree with Nick Frost's position that Gandalf would be make a splendid candidate. I agree with him, at least.

What may be more difficult to agree with, meanwhile, is Frankie Muniz's resemblance to axed "American Idol" contestant Aaron Kelly, though some of his followers see a compelling likeness there. Twitter-Wood is littered with such trivia today, in addition to which Hollywood screenwriter uses the "Super Mario Bros." theme as a ringtone, how Arnold Schwarzenegger spent Cinco de Mayo and which actress finds Gwyneth Paltrow's blog troubling. Check all of those posts out alongside Peter Facinelli's plea for Nashville in Twitter-Wood for May 6, 2010. Read More...

Happy Cinco de Mayo from Twitter-Wood, everyone. Former Bundy kids Christina Applegate and David Faustino also have wishes for you on this wonderful holiday. Applegate included an extra word of caution if you happen to celebrating in Arizona, advice which Ice-T might agree with, judging from his recent tweets.

Meanwhile on the East Coast, Seth Meyers is getting fired up for "Saturday Night Live" with guest host Betty White this weekend. He had good things to say about her, as did Christopher Mintz-Plasse about his presentation gig at the MTV Movie Awards. Damon Lindelof was a tad less upbeat about "Lost" getting over with. You can read his decidedly more melancholy post and find out who forgot to celebrate "Star Wars" Day yesterday. It's all been retweeted after the jump in Twitter-Wood for May 5, 2010. Read More...

If you didn't know that a Star Trek movie screenwriter was nominated for a Tony this year, you do now. Brent Spiner pointed out in Twitter-Wood today that "Red" playwright John Logan also wrote the story for "Star Trek: Nemesis." The other big "Star" franchise got some attention too, with numerous posts celebrating Star Wars Day.

Kim Kardashian was happy to hear that a suspect was in custody regarding the attempted Times Square boming in New York, while Tom Hanks was content just to be on his new film's set ten minutes early. Check out all of those tweets after the jump and you'll also find out who works out at Mr. T's gym. That info is part of the all-inclusive retweet package that is Twitter-Wood for May 4, 2010. UPDATE: Internet weirdness left this post out of yesterday's publish, despite the fact that it WAS actually published. So... enjoy your day late Twitter-Wood, and keep an eye out for TODAY'S Twitter-Wood later!

Super Saver may have won the 2010 Kentucky Derby, but Fran Drescher won today's Twitter Pic of the Day with her Audrey Hepburn homage and modest hat for the event. Rain was not enough to scare her away from the race or the camera, it would appear.

A few tweets in the feed were decidedly less upbeat, though, as word broke that Oscar-nominated actress Lynn Redgrave passed away. An array of post from Alyssa Milano and Brody Stevens to Virginia Madsen and Denise Richards shared Twitter-Wood's collective reactions to her death. You can read a few of them after the jump, where you'll also find a quick update on "The Last Airbender" and Ashton Kutcher's advice to potential iPad buyers. Adam McKay issued a major downer for everyone excited to see "Anchorman 2" yesterday. Apparently Paramount isn't nearly as big a fan of the project as he is, as he indicated that they passed on the sequel, which is no good for the future of Ron Burgundy.

On a lighter note, lots of Twitter-Wood citizens seem to be enjoying Jon Favreau's "Iron Man 2." He got some props today from both Jimmy Fallon and Peter Serafinowicz. Their compliments are retweeted after the jump along with Olivia Wilde's favorite song to strip to and Dane Cook's sex tape advice. Welcome to an extra-sexy edition of Twitter-Wood for April 30, 2010. Read More...

You don't have to be a Louisiana native to be worried about the oil spill drifting toward its shores right now, and Ken Jeong and Christina Applegate both had the potential natural disaster on their minds today, as well as in their tweets.

Elsewhere in Twitter-Wood, TwitPic posting was a bit lighter, but Danny Masterson offered a behind-the-scenes look at his new Spike TV show "Playing With Guns" and Kim Kardashian showed what it looks like when she and her sister have a "Beach Bunny Party" together. It's all noted with Jon Hurwitz's thoughts on Sandra Bullock's child and the status of "Toy Story 3" in Twitter-Wood for April 29, 2010. Read More...

If you're excited about the "Nightmare On Elm Street" remake starring Jackie Earle Haley that comes out this week, you may be more interested in the project than Nicky Hilton, who tweeted about some bad childhood memories she still carries from the first film.

In other posting, buddy shots were all the rage last night, with "Last Airbender" actor Aasif Mandvi hanging out with Dr. Sanjay Gupta and more Twitter-Wood ladies than I can list here getting together for dinner with Candace Cameron Bure and Denise Richards. Check those out after the jump along with Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg's thoughts on British Prime Minister Gordon Brown's "bigoted" comment and a Gray's Papaya fan.

It's all documented in Twitter-Wood for April 28, 2010. Read More...

The red carpet at the "Iron Man 2" premiere looked pretty swank last night, but for those of us who couldn't make the trip, director Jon Favreau dropped a photo on Twitter. Todd Barry, meanwhile, tweeted about another photo that showed up on the Internet. I can only assume he was referring to the one shown on Telegraph.co.uk of actor Randy Quaid getting arrested.

You can check those retweets out after the jump alongside Shannon Elizabeth's earthquake jitters, Diablo Cody on her "Robot Chicken" contribution and David Spade's take on "Kick-Ass." I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is Twitter-Wood for April 27, 2010.

@diablocody Going to lend my voice to ROBOT CHICKEN today. I've always been robotic as an actress, so stop-motion might be my calling.

@ShannonElizab Am I crazy or was there a small earthquake this morning? I might have dreamed it. Either way I have to put a survival kit together stat!
