Good news for all you vampire and Frog lovers – "The Lost Boys" are coming back. Bloody Disgusting reports that Evan Charnov has been tapped to write the screenplay for "The Lost Boys 3," the sequel to 2008's direct-to-DVD "Lost Boys: The Tribe." Not only will series veteran Corey Feldman executive produce and act in the movie, but his character Edgar Frog is set to take a front and center role.
"We're told this film will actually focus on Feldman's popular character," Bloody Disgusting reports. As if the news couldn't possibly be better for "Lost Boys" fans, Moviehole spilled the beans that Jamison Newlander will reprise his role as Alan Frog, Feldman's brother in the series. Read more...
October is my favorite month of the year. Stores stock up on candy and fake blood as horror geeks like myself prepare for a month of haunted houses and horror films.
I began my Halloween extravaganza by attending Universal Studios Hollywood's sixth annual Eyegore Horror Awards, where they honored such icons as director Tobe Hooper ("Texas Chainsaw Massacre," "Poltergeist"), actor Bill Moseley ("House of a 1000 Corpses," "Devil's Rejects") and actress Julie Benz ("Saw V"). Also in attendance were "Lost Boys" Corey Haim and Corey Feldman (the latter of whom served as the night's emcee) and the original Leatherface, Gunnar Hansen.

As long-time blog readers know, we've been neck-deep in all things "Lost Boys" sequel since the very beginning. We revealed the plot, got sucked into a Corey feud, revealed Haim's potential movie absense (and Feldman's response), and most recently, premiered the film's trailer along with an extensive on-camera interview with Feldman.
So we were obviously excited to drop by the set of the music video for "Cry Little Sister," the iconic anthem from the classic film which Aiden frontman Wil Francis is remaking for the sequel. Check out the video below for a taste of what's in store, and then after the jump, read to hear his thoughts on Feldman, where the song plays in the film, and just where people who don't like the song can stick it (including original singer Gerard McMann).

Nearly half a million of you have watched the trailer for "Lost Boys: The Tribe" since we exclusively premiered it last Wednesday.
And nearly as many of you, it seems, aren't talking about what you saw, but disappointed about what you didn't see.
"You have got to be kidding me? Only one Corey?" user Sandman asks. "This is gonna bomb... i wanted to see haim man!"
"It is going to be hard to follow up the classic," echoed user Carpe Diem. "Where is Haim?" Read more...

But if you're geeking out at what Part II has to offer, wait'll you get a load of what Feldman has in store for Part III, the actor teased, citing huge "potential" for the story to continue in a trilogy of films. Read more...

Could I make up a quote like that? When I chatted with Corey Haim a little while back, we really covered just about everything, from his relationship with Feldman to his dieting tips (watermelon and frisbee!), and yes...his dating past.
I had heard an interesting unsubstantiated rumor that Haim once dated Victoria Beckham. So of course I brought it up and yes, he opened up about a fascinating little three or four week relationship with the former Posh Spice. Watch and gasp.
Check out everything we've got on Corey Haim here.
In all my years, I never thought I'd be caught in the middle of the up and down relationship between Corey Haim and Corey Feldman. But here we are. A couple weeks back I had a lengthy chat with Corey Haim here in NYC while my colleague Shawn Adler spoke with Feldman on the West Coast about his advice for young stars. Clearly the two still have some issues as evidenced by Haim's comments about his frequent co-star. We reported at length about "The Lost Boys" sequel and Haim's need to drop out of it.
Now Corey Feldman has reached out to MTV News to release a statement. In it, he defends his decision to continue in the film series without Haim. Read it after the jump: Read more...
When Corey Haim walked into our offices to talk about the sequel to "The Lost Boys" and "The Two Coreys," he was in a great mood until I brought up one name: Corey Feldman. Clearly he was angry about something at the start of the interview but he wouldn't cough up the reason until he said "screw it" and let rip on why he's so upset at that other Corey.
Yes, folks, it all goes back to that infamous scene from "The Two Coreys" where Haim cried over being passed over for "The Lost Boys II." Honestly I'm not exactly sure what Haim was talking about here, but the important thing is he is mad at Feldman and apparently Feldman doesn't even know it yet.
YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS. TRUST ME. And check back tomorrow for Haim's story on dating Posh Spice (I'm absolutely serious).
