Cinemash creator Kashy Khaledi has been enjoying himself lately. Clearly. Just look at all of the great classic film send-ups he's delivered for Mean Magazine's Cinemash series: "Training Day," "Dirty Dancing," "Oldboy" and, most recently, "Carrie."

Fan films flourish across the Internet thanks to the ease and popularity of video recording and sharing. Khaledi's Mean Magazine contributions, a partnership with Microsoft, stand out primarily because of the talent populating them: Will Arnett, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Common, Milo Ventimiglia, Channing Tatum, Charlyne Yi... well-known personalities. To celebrate the end of the first "season," Khaledi took some time out to speak with MTV contributor Jenni Miller about the future of Cinemash. And of course, she could resist asking any possible "New Moon"-related plans.... Read more...

I know what you're thinking. This is the second helping of Cinemash in a single day. I must be lazy. Yes. Yes I am. But that's besides the point. This isn't just any Cinemash. This one features "Heroes" star Milo Ventimiglia. Rehashing the most incredible fight scene from "Thirst" director Park Chan-wook's "Oldboy." Check it out. And then hit the jump to peep and original clip, if only to get an idea of how completely the Cinemash team commits to their send-ups.

Love it.

Hayden PanettiereThough season four of NBC’s “Heroes” won’t start for a few more months, Hayden Panettiere told MTV News that there’s a new mysterious group that fans can look forward to in September: The Carnival.

Panettierre, who plays the title role in July 10th’s “I Love You, Beth Cooper”, is already preparing for more adventures as super-powered cheerleader Claire Bennet.

“The next season of ‘Heroes’ has a lot of characters that are coming in,” says Panettierre, “There’s something called The Carnival... which is kind of the opposite of what The Company was. There’s a lot of new, cool characters.” Read more...

It’s a question that has plagued TV-lovers for generations: what happens to all those canceled TV shows and their beloved characters when they vanish into pop culture oblivion? These days, they’re either relegated to DVD box sets or -- if they’re lucky -- they move on up to the big screen. To see a show that you’ve loved and lost make it to into movie form is pretty much every fan’s dream. So long as it's done right.

I get why fans of the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" TV series have been up in arms since news broke that the franchise will make its way to theaters without the help of show creator Josh Weldon. The news kind of sucks for "Buffy" fans, but it got me thinking of all the other shows I love and miss. Read more...

Robert PattinsonIn a sea of attractive, swoon-worthy men like "Fringe" star Joshua Jackson (#33), Shia LeBeouf (#16), Adrian Grenier (#15) and even the Jonas Brothers (#14), the competition to make it to number one was very, very tough. Yet, somehow it's initially surprising to find out that "Twilight" heartthrob Robert Pattinson only made it to number four on a list of most eligible bachelors.

We are sure the Twilighters everywhere are collectively asking: How is he only number four? But, really they should be asking: How did he make a list meant for TV actors when he isn't even on a TV show? (And no, "Twilight" commercials don't seem to count.) Read more...

Milo VentimigliaThe teaser trailer for "Game" won't be out until the holidays -- since the film was just delayed until next year -- but co-star Milo Ventimiglia ("Heroes") said it'll be worth the wait.

The game in "Game" -- from "Crank" and "Pathology" creators Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor -- is a futuristic multiplayer in which you can control other people. Gerard Butler's, John Leguizamo's, and Ventimiglia's characters are forced to play first person games, and are considered just Sim-like avatars by the people who play them, and control their actions remotely, much like you would on a Wii. When a group of young medical students challenge themselves to see who among them can commit the perfect murder, things kinda get a little bit tense. In the following clip, one of those students ("Heroes" star Milo Ventimiglia) ventures into dangerous territory when a discussion of killing arises. The film, co-starring Alyssa Milano, hits theaters on April 17.

Milo Ventimiglia visits TRLIn the past year, Milo Ventimiglia has become one of the most famous "Heroes" in all the world. But if the actor ever lands his dream role, Peter Petrelli will have to step aside and make room for the most famous sidekick in comic book history.

During a recent interview to promote his upcoming thriller "Pathology", the 30-year-old actor could barely contain his excitement for co-star Zachary Quinto's recent appointment as Mr. Spock in next year's "Star Trek" movie. Remembering an early conversation they once had on the "Heroes" set, Ventimiglia marveled at the fact that Quinto said his dream role would be to play Spock - a part he landed just a few months later.

Naturally, the talk then turned to the role Ventimiglia had chosen as his dream gig. His answer? "Robin," he grinned, referring to the embattled Batman buddy most recently seen in the person of Chris O'Donnell in the late Nineties.
