If "Hunger Games" proved anything with its enormous opening at the box office, it's this: people love Jennifer Lawrence. The erstwhile Katniss Everdeen won't pick up the bow and arrow again until "Catching Fire" in 2013, but you'll be able to get another dose of the Oscar-nominated actress much sooner than that.
Lawrence's new horror film, "House at the End of the Street," premieres on September 21. Way ahead of that, MTV is debuting a teaser of the first "House" trailer tonight (March 28) during the 8 p.m. hour -- in other words, you'll want to tune into tonight's episode of "The Challenge: Battle of the Exes" to get your first look at Lawrence's new thriller!
Then, right here on MTV Movies Blog tomorrow morning (March 29) at 8 a.m. ET, we'll have the exclusive first look at the full trailer. That's a lot of Lawrence!
In "House at the End of the Street," Lawrence plays Elissa, a young girl who moves with her mother Sarah (Elisabeth Shue), recently divorced, to a small rural town. There, she befriends the boy next door, Ryan (Max Thieriot), the victim of a horrible tragedy several years earlier. What begins as a fresh start for Elissa and Sarah soon spirals completely out of control, as they discover that their new home town has big, bad secrets -- darker secrets than they could have ever possibly imagined.
Make sure to tune into MTV tonight to check out the first "House" teaser, then come back to Movies Blog tomorrow morning to see the full Lawrence-starring trailer.
