Hollywood actors, better start practicing your best moon walk and memorizing the "Thriller" dance.
Showblitz is reporting that Michael Jackson's estate is shopping the idea for a biopic for the late pop star around Hollywood. Apparently Ivan Reitman and Tom Pollock's production company has been approached about potentially producing the project. Apparently the pic would only cover certain periods of Jackson's life (read: some Neverland controversies may never be told). Now it's time for the speculation for who should play the King of Pop to begin!

The sheer magnitude of terrible videogame-to-film adaptations is quite staggering. Try as they might, Hollywood has faced an uphill battle in delivering games to the big screen in any form other than schlock that alienates the original product's fans. At this point, I'm convinced that Uwe Boll is secretly part of some massive government experiment to test the pain threshold of theater-goers everywhere, utilizing his incredible ability to turn decent videogames into absolutely horrid films.
All that said, some development studios attempt to avoid the adaptation scenario all-together, or come to the realization that maybe their game franchise just doesn't need to be a film if that means the source material losing its voice.
Apparently, that's precisely what's going on with Irrational Games and their overwhelmingly successful "BioShock" series.

There's no shortage of ways to deal with depression. You can ignore it and hope it goes away, for one, but that's not a recommended course. For some, therapy works. For others, medication is all they need, though that comes in a variety of forms: little tiny yellow pills, jagged red ones … and sometimes, something a bit greener, as you'll see in this exclusive clip from "The Lie."
"The Lie" stars and is written and directed by Joshua Leonard, perhaps best known for his groundbreaking work in "The Blair Witch Project," as Lonnie, a young man who finds his life altered after telling one little lie to get out of work. In today's exclusive clip from the new drama, Lonnie realizes that lying in therapy might be the key to getting, ah, "higher" in life.
Leonard's "The Lie" hits theaters on November 18, 2011.

A new trailer for "Brave," the latest Pixar and Disney collaboration, has sprung to life, and it looks to mix the best elements of both companies.
"Brave" follows Scottish princess Merida (voiced by "Boardwalk Empire's" Kelly MacDonald) as a young woman determined to carve out her own place in the world. She rebels against her parents (Billy Connolly and Emma Thompson) and defies her country's age-old custom in order to seek her own independence. In doing so, she unwittingly unleashes chaos on her kingdom and is forced to "discover the meaning of true bravery" in order to right the wrongs she created.

Two mirrors, two evil queens, two fairest maidens and fourteen dwarves -- add all that together and you get two very, very different interpretations of "Snow White." The dueling fairy tale adaptations "Snow White and the Huntsman" and "Mirror Mirror" have both launched their first full-length trailers now, giving viewers their best points of comparison yet for the two similar projects... except, if you've watched the trailers, you know they're hardly similar at all.
The MTV Movies team of Josh Wigler, Amy Wilkinson and Kevin P. Sullivan put their heads together to weigh the similarities and differences between the two "Snow White" trailers. Read the pound-for-pound results after the jump!

Taylor Lautner's espionage thriller "Abduction" hit theaters months ago, but the adrenaline ride is far from over. In December, the John Singleton directed action flick arrives on cable and digital VOD platforms including Movies on Demand, DirectTV / Pay-Per-View, iTunes and more — but it won't be there for long.
"Abduction" will be available for rent for an exclusive two-week window from December 22 through January 4, giving fans the chance to see the Lautner-starring action vehicle over the holiday season. In addition to the full movie, an "Abduction" featurette will also be available on demand, giving you added insight into Lautner's latest pulse-pounding adventure.
Check out a trailer for the new "Abduction" VOD release below, and let us know what you think of the announcement in the comments section and on Twitter!

Get out your Starfleet uniforms and your Vulcan ears, because "Star Trek 2" has an official filming start date.
TrekMovie has learned that shooting is set to start on January 15 for a 2013 release date. This pretty much lines up with what we already know, but it's nice to have confirmation on a planned start date considering how much "Trek 2" has been pushed back.
Apparently writers Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof are also busy taking a third pass at the script, but TrekMovie believes that they're only tinkering with minor things and the movie as a whole is set to go.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, they may not have had Movember—the men's health charity event where blokes grow mustaches to raise funds for the Livestrong and Prostate Cancer Foundations—but they certainly had facial hair. And where razors are needed, there are brave and bold gentlemen willing to take their whiskers where few dapper, masculine men have gone before.
From the far-flung future to the other side of the universe, here are some of sci-fi's finest mustaches.
Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian in the original Star Wars trilogy
You can't have a list of great sci-fi 'staches without lauding the luscious upper lip hair of the smoothest guy in the Star Wars galaxy! Lando Calrissian—a gambler turned administrator turned military general—was one of the greatest heroes the Rebel Alliance had in the fight against the Galactic Empire. A notorious ladies' man as well, flashing that mustachioed smile could melt hearts of women from Coruscant to the Outer Rim.

After the big time success of his latest project "Immortals," director Tarsem Singh has his eyes on the project he'd like to tackle next.
Tarsem recently told The Hollywood Reporter that he would like to direct the live-action version of "Samurai Jack," the beloved and critically acclaimed animated series that aired on Cartoon Network from 2001 to 2004.
The potential director and subject combination is sure to have fans nodding their heads in agreement. Tarsem is known particularly for his otherworldly visuals and could theoretically make a great director for the unique art direction of "Samurai Jack."
FROM MTV MOVIES: The books are long finished, the movies are now over, but all it takes is one step inside the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida, to know that "Potter" is forever.
Still, despite the ever-flowing butterbeer and copious amounts of "Potter"-based roller-coaster rides, there's always room for improvement, even at the Wizarding World. After all, the "Potter" universe is just too grand to fit every single element into one theme park. With that in mind, when MTV News traveled down to Orlando to cover the red-carpet celebration of the "Deathly Hallows Part 2" DVD release, we asked the cast and crew to weigh in on which features of J.K. Rowling's imaginative world they'd like to see included in future park updates.
