FROM MTV MOVIES: Robert Pattinson, who will marry Kristen Stewart in "Breaking Dawn" this November, is also set to wed Sarah Gadon in David Cronenberg's "Cosmopolis." And, as Gadon revealed to MTV News, it's going be a very interesting journey for the newlyweds in the film.

"I think it's a really interesting film, and I don't want to give away too much, but I think in a really kind of pared-down version of the film, it's about a young millionaire who loses everything in the course of a day," New Class-er Gadon said.

"I play his new wife, so I'm one of the only characters that comes in and out of the story throughout the film. We have breakfast, lunch and dinner together, and those are going to be some interesting meals."

Although we're just getting into talks and screenings for this year's Oscar bait movies, it's never too early to start talking about next year's likely contenders, is it? Because Robert Zemeckis and Denzel Washington's "Flight" is sounding more and more like it will be one to watch out for next year.

When MTV News caught up with screenwriter John Gatins recently, he revealed that production begins next week and that it has taken him more than a decade to get the project off the ground.

"Oh man, we start filming next week. This movie for me has been 12 years getting to the screen. It took me forever and it really took Robert Zemeckis coming on, getting Denzel to do the movie, it’s like a fever dream for me because I’ve waited so long," he told us at the premiere of his latest movie, "Real Steel."

Leave it to Ryan Gosling to handle the "morning after" conversation with poise and a lot of class. In an exclusive clip from "The Ides of March," in theaters Friday (October 7), Gosling's character and political strategist, Stephen, talks to Evan Rachel Wood's Molly after spending the night together to make sure there isn't any "confusion." He doesn't want Molly to think he is a player, but she's pretty convinced he's just that.

In "Ides of March," Gosling plays the political savvy wunderkind behind the presidential campaign of Governor Mike Morris, played by George Clooney. Molly also works on Morris' campaign, but as a lowly intern. Stephen's loyalty is tested when approached by the opposing campaign with an offer to come work for them.

BatmanFROM NEXTMOVIE: Comedy Central's "South Park" returns for its 15th season this week ... with, naturally, an episode making fun of Asperger's Syndrome. (It's entitled "Ass Burgers.")

The show's cutout animation may be simple, but Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny have become some of the most indelible characters in cartoon history.

So, naturally, we've always wondered how "South Park" creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker would have applied their signature style to some of our favorite movie icons. Our old mate Old Red Jalopy was up to the task.

"Resident Evil" took no prisoners, save for leading lady Milla Jovovich. Her many co-stars, including Michelle Rodriguez as Rain and Colin Salmon as One, weren't lucky enough to survive the zombie apocalypse. Indeed, the pile of corpses only grows taller and taller as each "Resident Evil" movie trucks along -- but when the fifth film, "Retribution," hits theaters, a few of those corpses will be leaving the pile.

Both Rodriguez and Salmon are signed on for the newest "Resident Evil," though exactly how they'll be involved remains completely unclear. When we caught up with Jovovich and director Paul W.S. Anderson at the "Three Musketeers" junket over the weekend, we asked them point blank: how on earth are Rodriguez and Salmon back in action?
