FROM HOLLYWOOD CRUSH: With just four days until our MTV First special on "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1"—complete with never-before-seen clips from the film and interviews with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner—we're getting antsy in the pantsy for our last-minute exclusive peek at the crushworthy culmination of Edward and Bella's big day. But before we get cracking on picking our new favorite moments from the penultimate chapter of "The Twilight Saga," we're counting down the top five fan favorite moments (voted by you!) from the "Twilight" movies we've already seen... and today, we've got your official No. 5. The verdict:
Robert and Taylor's snarky sniping over a sleeping KStew in the "Eclipse" tent scene!
The filmmakers may have been trying to skew viewers in favor of this one; Rob even confessed, "I think they tried to make it more erotic!" when he told us about some last-minute reshoots of the pivotal scene. But fun as it was to watch our favorite Forks hotties get snippy in the wilderness, this fan favorite moment still came in behind some of the more, er, explicit sexiness of scenes like the "leg hitch" from "Eclipse" or the first kiss in "Twilight."

It's not an easy thing, playing a father-daughter rock-duo, and making it seem authentic. For "Janie Jones" stars Abigail Breslin and Alessandro Nivola had to fit the bill, but it was easier for one than the other.
Breslin may be known for her dance moves from her breakout role in "Little Miss Sunshine," but when it came to singing, she was a novice before getting the role. "For me, I never really sung before. I started taking a few voice lessons just for fun, and then it was kind of coincidence that this script came about," said Breslin, who plays the titular role of Janie Jones, a young sing-songwriter abandoned by her mom and left to live with her dead-beat rocker dad, played by Nivola.

"Immortals" is just two weeks away from hitting theaters, but if we were able to move in God Speed, we'd be at that November 11 release date a whole lot quicker.
I'm talking about the speed with which Zeus, Poseidon and the other immortal powers of Olympus move against their adversaries, the Titans, in the Tarsem Singh-directed epic. Aside from the perpetually shirtless Henry Cavill and the eternally gorgeous Freida Pinto, perhaps the biggest draw of "Immortals" is the glorious battles between the Gods and the Titans, some of the most breathtaking violence I've ever seen committed to the screen, thanks largely to the otherworldly pacing of the sequences. Get an early look at God Speed for yourself in today's "Immortals" Mondays exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette!
"Immortals" hits theaters on November 11, 2011.

It seems like Justin Timberlake was just in time with landing his first leading roles in films this year. Just days after his new sci-fi thriller "In Time" hit theaters, word hit the Internet that he has been offered a role in the Coen brothers' upcoming movie "Inside Llewyn Davis."
"Drive" star Oscar Isaac will be playing the main character in the flick, a struggling folk musician from Queens. Timberlake has been offered the other lead role role of a folk musician who is married to Carey Mulligan's character in the flick, according to Variety. Showbiz411 adds that Coens regular John Goodman also has recently joined the cast.

Halloween is here, and we've got a great treat for you to go along with your mountains of chocolate bars this year: the results of MTV's Killer Halloween! 1st Place: Freddy Krueger
That's right, none other than "Nightmare on Elm Street" baddie Freddy Krueger is the winner of Killer Halloween! What's a boy to do if he has the special ability to speak to the dead and his town becomes infested by zombies? According to the new teaser trailer for "ParaNorman," the answer is to apparently take it with a grain of salt.
The upcoming 3D stop-motion animated film, due out in August, comes from "Coraline" director Chris Butler and "The Tale of Despereaux" helmer Seth Fell. "ParaNorman" definitely aligns itself thematically with "Coraline," especially with Donovan's "Season of the Witch" being played in the background of the trailer. The teaser focuses more on the creepy, impressive stop-motion animation in the movie than on any sort of plot line, but it is better-served by that. The next trailer released can spend its time showing off "ParaNorman's" impressive voice cast.

While others are out on Halloween planning the best way to nab the most candy while trick-or-treating or trying to figure out what to do as a last-minute costume, we dedicated "Harry Potter" fans realize October 31, 2011 is a much more somber occasion. Thirty years ago today was the unfortunate day that Voldemort swept into Godric's Hollow and killed James and Lily Potter while trying to prevent a certain prophecy from coming to fruition.
Spoiler alert! It didn't, and now Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny and the rest of the gang are living happily ever after, albeit minus an ear or with some extra scarring. But since we wouldn't have the wonderful person who is Harry Potter without his two ill-fated parents (J.K. who?), we here at MTV Movies Blog have come up with a little list to help you honor The Boy Who Lived's dead parents on All Hallow's Eve.

Several aspects of this week's new release "Anonymous" are unexpected. From the controversial plot to Roland Emmerich turning away from big-budget action to tell a story about Shakespeare, much of it should surprise audiences, but one of the most interesting choices made by the creators of the film was the actor in the lead role, Rhys Ifans.
Known in the US for his smaller, oddball roles like Xenophilius Lovegood in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1" and as Curt Connors in "The Amazing Spider-Man," Ifans may not seem like the natural fit for the role of the Earl of Oxford, and when the actor sat down with MTV News' Josh Horowitz, he talked about his struggle to secure the lead in "Anonymous."

When I suggested that another "Harry Potter" complete DVD boxed set was on its way in the next year or so, I wasn't very far off. Warner Bros might be making a big deal of the fact that "Harry Potter" DVDs are being taken off shelves starting December 29, but they won't be gone forever. In fact, one head honcho over at WB says that yes, there will be a new even better special edition boxed set of all eight "Potter" DVDs due out by the end of 2012.
Entertainment Weekly chatted with Warner Bros's senior VP and general manager of their theatrical catalog Jeff Baker, who says that execs at WB are planning on a new boxed set focused on special features due out next year.
"There is discussion internally about aggregating assets from all of these films over the last decade and adding some new things -- we’ve never done an Ultimate Edition on the final two films -- and doing some grand kind of piece," he says. "It could be the end of 2012 or the beginning of ’13."

Originally, Justin Timberlake's new sci-fi action flick was called "Now." Apparently, though, that title didn't effectively communicate what the movie was all about, which isn't exactly surprising because what the movie, now called "In Time," is all about is kinda high-concept and confusing.
Go with us (and JT) for a second. In this cinematic future, overpopulation was a biiiiiiig problem, so scientists figured out how to slice and dice the human genome to the point where aging stops when you're 25. Seeing as how people like living and don't want to die young, time has become the new currency, something earned during work and spent like cash. How exactly time can be earned, stolen and kept track of on a fancy neon clock on your arm (as well as why everyone in the future is so damn good looking) is never really explained.
And why should it be? Confounding high-concept plots are a Hollywood staple. In this sense, "In Time" joins the sometimes glorious, sometimes grating pantheon of movies with extremely confusing premises.
"The Jacket": An amnesic Gulf War veteran takes an experimental drug, locks himself in a morgue chamber and is able to travel 15 years into the future, where he learns he might already be dead in one timeline but not another. Or something. Somebody revoke Adrien Brody's Oscar.
"Primer": An excellent low-budget time-travel flick so sciencey you need a PhD or two tabs of acid to understand it.
