Any time we get a chance to catch up with Seth Rogen it is a good time, if only to hear his adorable giggle. Even better when the discussion at hand involves his excellent upcoming film "50/50" as well as his long-in-development survival horror comedy "Jay and Seth vs. The Apocalypse."

Regarding the latter, which, last we heard, will start shooting this February, we asked Rogen to clear up exactly which esteemed actors have officially signed onto the project, since it seems that the cast has been changing since the project was announced.

"We've decided to add more people, so ideally 'Jay and Seth' looks like it has become Jay, Seth, Jonah, Danny, Craig and James," Rogen revealed. (That's Baruchel, Rogen, Hill, McBride, Robinson and Franco, by the way.)

FROM NEXTMOVIE: The "porn star name game" is a time-honored tradition in America.

It's a game pretty much anyone can play, depending on the rules -- we employ the First Name: First Pet, Last Name: Street You Grew Up On method (our apologies to those with allergies, maybe you had a goldfish?). And the results are, without fail, hilarious.

We asked 50 of our favorite movie stars in Hollywood -- including Megan Fox, Ryan Gosling, Anne Hathaway, Gerard Butler, Katie Holmes, Jon Hamm, Emma Stone and Neil Patrick Harris -- for their porn star names. They did not let us down.

Megan Fox
Porn Star Name: Candy Douglas
"Candy was my black cat, and Douglas Avenue I believe was the first street."

Ryan Gosling
Porn Star Name: Tracker Mohawk
"We had a cat named 'Tracker,' and the street we lived on was 'Mohawk.' Tracker Mohawk."

Katie Holmes
Porn Star Name: Rebound Springbrook
"[Rebound was] a beagle. Rebound sounds like bad casting."

At long last, Disney and "Avatar" have made the bond.

It's been announced that Disney Parks has partnered up for a long-term creative union with James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment and Fox Filmed Entertainment to develop the lush world of "Avatar" as part of Disney's Animal Kingdom and Walt Disney World Resort. In other words, it won't be long before you can make face-to-face peace with the Na'vi, and you won't even have to travel to Pandora to make it happen! Catch all of the details here.

So now that we know an "Avatar" attraction is bursting its way into reality --? though not until Cameron's back-to-back sequels are in theaters, so still quite a ways away --? what do we want to see from the Disney collaboration? Check out our wish list past the jump!

As a general rule, I really try hard to avoid seeing movie trailers. They're just so spoiler-y these days! Most people love them, but I don't like the fact that I often see all the good scenes before I see the actual movie. But every now and again someone crafts a more artful trailer that does the job of piquing my curiosity perfectly. The new teaser for "J. Edgar" is a fine example.

The director/star combo of Clint Eastwood and Leonardo DiCaprio is intriguing but since I'm not a U.S. history buff, the story of FBI founder J. Edgar Hoover is less so. But now that I've seen the trailer I'm totally hooked! It's artsy, stylized, features shots of all the principal cast members, and is beautifully scored. In other words, it's total award season bait.

FROM MTV MOVIES: The American public may no longer be convinced about Eddie Murphy's enduring comedic gifts, based on the number of folks who purchased tickets to "Imagine That" and "Meet Dave." Even Eddie Murphy may no longer be convinced about Eddie Murphy's enduring comedic gifts. But one man with no such doubt is Brett Ratner, who is producing the 2012 Academy Awards and who has tapped Murphy to host.

"I think there's no question about it. He's the greatest," Ratner told us Sunday night at the Emmy Awards about Eddie taking on the gig and slaying the crowd. "My first idea was the show had to go in the direction of more comedy with a single host, and there's nobody better on that stage than Eddie Murphy."

"I grew up watching 'Raw' and 'Delirious' and being a big fan of him," Ratner added. "He's a huge movie star. He has huge international appeal. There's nobody better. He's a pro. The guy is a pro."

This opening night, like so many recent ones in the lockout-shadowed sports world, almost didn't happen.

Brad Pitt's "Moneyball" was shutdown back in the summer of '09, just days before production was to begin, over concerns that director Steven Soderbergh's take wouldn't attract roaring crowds at the multiplex. But Pitt predicted something of a ninth-inning rally, and one new director later (Bennett Miller of "Capote" fame), the David-vs.-Goliath tale about the Oakland Athletics shot back to life and, almost two years later, premiered at the MLB team's stadium on Monday night.

Pitt was on hand under the stadium floodlights, as were costars Jonah Hill and Philip Seymour Hoffman, plus Miller, screenwriter Aaron Sorkin and ballplayers including current A's designated hitter Hideki Matsui.

Edgar Ramirez kills people. On screen. He played an assassin in “The Bourne Ultimatum” and international terrorist Carlos the Jackal in the Sundance Channel miniseries “Carlos,” for which he earned an Emmy nomination this year.

When MTV News caught up with him on the Emmys red carpet, Ramirez talked about his next killer role: Ares, god of war and violence, in the “Clash of the Titans” sequel, "Wrath of the Titans," scheduled for release in March, 2012.

“He wasn’t hugged enough,” said Ramirez of his character. “He’s a wounded, damaged kid, you know?”

Call me crazy, but I've got a funny feeling that if you're reading this post, chances are high that you're at least fleetingly familiar with the "Harry Potter" franchise. After seven novels and eight movies, the story of the Boy Who Lived is finally at an end, though his heart and soul lives on not just in the highly anticipated Pottermore experience, but also in the collective consciousness of "Potter" fans across the world.

Indeed, it's that shared "Potter" experience that keeps series lead Daniel Radcliffe so interested in the character and the world he inhabits, even now that his work with Harry is finally over. MTV News has an exclusive sneak peek at a special feature from the "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" Blu-ray and DVD, out on November 11, where Radcliffe engages author J.K. Rowling in a conversation about the state of "Potter" fandom and how the story has influenced a generation of viewers and readers.

As someone who knows his way around special effects, director Roland Emmerich could be a great candidate to use the digital aging technology that has been used for special effects in films like "The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button," "Watchmen" and "X-Men 3."

The subject came up when MTV News caught up with Emmerich at the Toronto Film Festival to talk about his upcoming period thriller, "Anonymous," which employs two sets of actors to play the same roles at different ages. We asked Emmerich if he might be interested in de-aging an actor digitally, or even better/more challenging, bringing one back from the dead, FX re-animator, lost footage style and he revealed he's already at work on a movie that relies heavily on that very technology.

"I am. I'm totally into that," Emmerich admitted. "I have one project which actually tries to do that, but I think we're not there yet. I made some tests that didn't turn out very well, so I think we have to wait another five years."

And what might the mystery project be?

"The title will tell you everything, it's called 'Happy Birthday Mr. President.'"

Jolly old Saint Nicholas, lend an ear this way. No, not literally, please — bloodied severed ears need not apply here, but if you're in the market, you might find something similarly gruesome in the horror flick "Saint" from director Dick Maas.

"Saint," currently out in select theaters and playing on SundanceNow.com, reimagines the tale of the holiday icon as "a murderous bishop fulfilling a grisly prophecy under the December full moon." It's up to local teen Frank to set out on a blood-soaked mission to save Amsterdam from the clutches of "Sinterklaas."

We've got an exclusive look at "Saint" for you today, but be warned — if you're a fan of undead horses that serve as the main mode of transportation for murderous holiday spirits, this might not be the clip for you.

Check out "Saint" in select theaters, on VOD and on SundanceNow.com!
