In case you missed the memo, Daniel Radcliffe's latest movie "The Woman In Black" is going to be scary, and the latest photo released for the flick shows that viewers aren't going to be the only ones terrified.
Previous photos have shown Radcliffe's character Arthur Kipps looking a bit nervous while walking around outdoors and later defending himself with a hatchet, but this latest image shows Kipps at his most defenseless. Lying on the ground and looking uncomfortably off into the distance, Kipps looks like he could be in a little bit of supernatural trouble. Maybe it has something to do with that children's doll lying on the ground next to him?
If the trailer is any judge, Kipps certainly has a lot on his plate in this movie.
"Rise of the Planet of the Apes" continues to hold strong in its second week of release, so it should come as no surprise that there is already talk of a sequel in the works.
Entertainment Weekly chatted with Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, the writing team behind "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," and talk inevitably turned to a potential sequel, or sequels. Jaffa and Silver likened their "Planet of the Apes" film to a Moses story, so EW asked if the next flick would be a Joseph story, replete with epic wars and world conquering.
"I’m touching wood, because I’m superstitious!" Silver said. "We definitely have ideas for where the sequel — plural, where the sequels — would take us."

Whether it's called "Cobra Strikes," "Retaliation" or something else entirely, one thing is for sure — there's a "G.I. Joe" sequel in the works, and The Rock is going to be a badass in it. Need further proof? Just check out this new photo that Dwayne Johnson tweeted earlier today from the "G.I. Joe" set:

Can you smell what The Rock is cooking? I can — and it smells like awesome sauce.

Once Brad Pitt finishes with "World War Z," he's going to become "The Gray Man."
Deadline has the news that Pitt will be starring in the James Gray-directed flick. "The Gray Man," an adaptation of Mark Greaney's thriller novel of the same name, follows a former CIA agent-turned-assassin as he fights his way around the globe to save his handler and the handler's family. Deadline believes that filming will start in early 2012.

While we await the official word from James Cameron regarding his specific production plans for the two “Avatar” sequels, we like to fill the void by asking all related parties for the latest news and/or thoughts on what they want to unfold in a return visit to Pandora.
Zoe Saldana recently told us she hadn't heard specifics from Cameron, but thought they might start production next year. When we caught up with star Sam Worthington (who's sporting shaggy surfer dude hair for his next movie, "Drift") during the press day for upcoming thriller, "The Debt," he didn't have many specifics to offer either, just that Cameron is still hard at work on his "Bible."
"That's one of these things he's needing to do to get back [into the 'Avatar' mindset] before he starts writing," Worthington said of the planned enclyclopedia-esque guide to the world of "Avatar" Cameron has planned.

Think you have the neighbor from hell? Tell that to Charley Brewster; he's literally facing a neighbor from the great beyond throughout the duration of "Fright Night," director Craig Gillespie's remake of the 1985 cult classic.
It's teenager Charley versus the vampire Jerry in "Fright Night," and this battle against the undead is taking its toll on our poor hero. In this MTV News exclusive clip, Charley does his best to explain the threat-next-door to his mother Jane without spilling the beans that Jerry's a blood-sucking, fang-wielding monstrosity — a revelation that not only wouldn't many any sense, but wouldn't really do any good. But his abilities to properly articulate his fears are, forgive the pun, a bit drained at the moment.

The Guillermo del Toro-produced "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" might warn you to keep an eye out when the lights go off, but, according to MTV's exclusive clip from the upcoming horror movie, you'd better watch out when you're in the bath too.
Everyone who tuned in to tonight's season finale of "Teen Wolf" (and that's all of you, right?) have already seen this clip, but for the rest of you out there, the scene shows off "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark's" brand of horror. The clip is called "The Bath" and, as is expected, takes place when leading lady Bailee Madison is taking a soak. But when this film's darkness-cloaked baddie flicks off the bathroom light, she knows she's in for a scare.
Don't worry, the above scene doesn't have anything that will make you jump out of your skin in fear, but it certainly set this Movies Blog writer ill at ease.

The Bluths are (hopefully) headed to Hollywood, in more ways than one.
Screen Rant reports on what they're describing as a rumored plot for the long-anticipated "Arrested Development" movie, though whether it is the official plot remains to be seen (there should be an announcement within the next month to confirm this, the site reports). Though it's only a rumor right now, it's certainly a fun one.
According to the report, the movie follows the Bluth clan's attempts to make their own movie about their lives to compete with one narrator Ron Howard is working on. Based on Maeby's experience in the film industry, they might actually have a chance of pulling it off.

FROM MTV MOVIES: Oh behave, "Austin Powers" fans, because a sequel might not be in the works just yet.
News broke over the weekend that Mike Myers was "signed, sealed, delivered" for "Austin Powers 4," the long-awaited follow-up to 2002's "Goldmember." HitFix confirmed that Myers had signed a deal to return to the franchise, but now Deadline New York is reporting otherwise. The entertainment website is saying that, despite Myers' interest in the project, no deal has been signed yet.
Apparently all that's happened is that Myers has expressed interest in a proposal for the movie that New Line presented six months ago, and it's not a full-blown deal. The project had seemingly fallen by the wayside after Myers' 2008 flick "The Love Guru" tanked at the box office, and he disappeared from Hollywood (barring a brief appearance in "Inglourious Basterds"). But New Line sought to revitalize the project recently and sent out a new offer about six months ago. Deadline is reporting that Myers' representatives have finally responded that Myers is interested.

The Beatles had "The White Album," and now the Muppets have "The Green Album."
NPR premiered a first listen of the album today, available for free streaming online at their website. Loaded covers of the show's classic songs by popular musicians Weezer, OK Go, The Fray, My Morning Jacket and Amy Lee, the album gives fans a taste of the musically-included film they're headed to see come November.
In other words, if you're a sucker for '80s nostalgia, this should be right up your alley.
