Taylor LautnerIs Taylor Lautner about to become expendable? That's certainly what the latest casting rumor for "The Expendables 2" would have us believe.

The folks over at Moviehole report that Lautner is one of several action stars that is being looked at to star in the upcoming sequel. Apparently the offer hasn't gone out to the "Abduction" star yet, but he is allegedly high up on the list of actors that Lionsgate wants for the film.

Also on the list are Christopher Lambert, Nicolas Cage and Christian Slater, as well as the previously rumored John Travolta, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris. It certainly would be interesting to see up-and-coming action hero Lautner facing off against some of the baddest dudes around.

Ghostbusters"Ghostbusters 3" is going to begin filming next year. Sony and leading man Bill Murray just don't know it yet.

Outspoken "Ghostbusters" star Dan Aykroyd is swirling the rumor mill again, this time on "The Dennis Miller Show." He told Miller that the plan is to get the movie in front of the camera within the next year despite the fact that Sony still hasn't added it to their line-up and Murray hasn't read the flick's "excellent script" yet. That was the final component that director Ivan Reitman said the movie was missing back in March.

As it turns out, Aykroyd not only isn't being put down by Murray's lack of an involvement, he's implying that the movie could move forward without him.

More than a decade after Johnny Depp took a trip into bat country in the adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas," he is returning to the writer's substance-infused stories in the first trailer for "The Rum Diary." The rum certainly isn't gone in this film.

Depp stars as journalist Paul Kemp who moves to San Juan, Puerto Rico to work for the major newspaper The Daily News in the late 1950s. He gets swept into a tangled mess of love, jealousy, treachery and alcoholism that is reminiscent of Thompson's other work. And apparently somewhere along the line he drank 161 nips of rum.

Star WarsThe "Star Wars" films that hit Blu-ray on September 16 aren’t going to be the same movies you grew up with.

Like the previous special editions director George Lucas has released, the Blu-ray releases will be tinkered with and updated to the director's liking. The Digital Bits says that most of it is small stuff that is for the better, like remedied color timing (the lightsabers now look a lot better) and edited out mistakes (say goodbye to the puppeteer's arm on the Wampa on "Empire Strikes Back").

The biggest change to the movies, however, is the switch from the puppet Yoda in "The Phantom Menace" to a new digital one that will be consistent with "Attack of the Clones" and "Revenge of the Sith." As to whether there will be any more changes to the films, well, we'll have to wait until the release to find out if Lucas left in other surprises.

Say hi to your mother freakin' quarter pounder for me!

In today's mouth-watering news you can use, actors Mark and Donnie Wahlberg are teaming with chef brother Paul Wahlberg to open the eponymous Wahlburgers restaurant, which will serve—you guessed it!—hot-off-the-grill hamburgers.

The news comes from the Boston Herald, who report that the brothers had to secure naming rights from a Rochester, N.Y.-based restaurant that already sold something called the "Wahlburger." (Who knew?!) The 4,300 square-foot restaurant is set to open "soon," across from the brother's Italian restaurant, Alma Nove, in Hingham, Mass.

We, for one, can't wait to hang tough with a juicy Wahlburger, but why stop there? Plenty of celebrities have food-friendly names that we could see printed on those little paper placemats. Check out our epicurean suggestions after the jump!
