With a title like "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," you get what you're paying for when you hit the cinema this weekend.

But that's the fun of the latest "Planet of the Apes" reboot. Though anyone who's seen the classic Charlton Heston flick knows how this movie is going to end (hint: the apes will rise), it's the fresh story with its moral lesson that is the fun part of "Rise."

"The journey is the destination, I think," director Rupert Wyatt told MTV News at Comic-Con. "I think it's in the telling obviously, and that's how we wanted to approach the making of this film. The telling of the story and that's what to us was really intriguing and really exciting."

Jonah HillIs Jonah Hill someone you'd trust to watch your children? After watching the red-band trailer for "The Sitter" that hit the web today, we're hoping that answer is a big N-O.

Hill is in all his pre-weight loss comedic glory in this trailer that has a bit of his "Superbad"-vibe going on. Hill plays an average joe with a certain, um, capability that makes him hot with the ladies. His mom convinces him to babysit as a chance to earn some cash, and what should have been an easy night in turns into much more. Somehow guns, drug dealers and car accidents come into the mix, along with some Sam Rockwell and Ari Graynor action. Can we complain? Absolutely not.

Check out the trailer past the jump, but be warned, it is VERY unsafe for work!

Is James Franco's leading role in "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" going to be a box office draw or disaster this weekend? He is worried about it, but director Rupert Wyatt isn't.

"I think people are going to see this film, hopefully, for the film," the British filmmaker told MTV News. "Those that will go see this film for James Franco will still see the film for James Franco."

The question was posed after Franco said in his Playboy interview that he figured critics would skewer this movie because he had such a good year last year.

Being the esteemed professional that I am, it is my job as a journalist to separate any personal leanings or fangirl pandering from my writings. Most of the time. Not so much when my subject is George R.R. Martin's brilliant "A Song Of Ice And Fire" series and HBO's wonderful adaptation "Game of Thrones."

That said, it is with great pleasure that I present one of the major highlights from my Comic-Con experience this year: an interview with one of my absolute favorite and most photogenic cast members Kit Harington (aka Jon Snow), wherein he discusses season two plot points, which cast member he'd like to see more of and what the future holds for Lord Snow.

"Of what I know and what I'm allowed to say, it's a tricky one because I don't want to spoil it," Harington said when asked what he can tell us about Jon's arc in season two. "Obviously he has his own story beyond the Wall, some very interesting things happen to him," he teased, charmingly. "He has a better time of it I think in the second season than he did in the first."

When asked to summarize Snow's series-long challenges and motivations, Harington addressed two points with which we readers are all too familiar.

"The Change-Up" opens tomorrow in theaters nationwide, offering the moviegoing public a body-swap comedy in case they're not interested in rising for "Apes." Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds star as two pals — one a lawyer and family man, the other a man-childish cad — who pine for the other's daily existence, only to find their wishes granted with disastrous results.

Honestly, there aren't a lot of people in my life that I'd want to swap lives with. I already blog about movies for a living, so hey, things aren't so bad. But that doesn't mean there aren't people in the fictional movie space that I wouldn't trade places with for a day. There are a lot of those people.

Check out the top five movie characters I'd body-swap with after the jump!

Tinker Tailor Soldier SpyIn recent years, we've learned better than to judge a movie by its trailer. But "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" is sure challenging that ideal.

A second trailer has hit the web courtesy of MSN, and on the surface the Cold War-set espionage thriller certainly looks flawless. The movie won us over once it announced that its leads included Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Colin Firth, Benedict Cumberbatch, Toby Jones, John Hurt and Ciaran Hinds, but this look at "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" also shows that it's going to be putting the ensemble of actors to good use.

Andy Serkis has become so well known for his ability to master motion-capture technology that he could be picking up his kids from school or doing some grocery shopping decked out in that tight grey, wired unitard contraption and you wouldn't think twice about it. This weekend's "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" marks Serkis' sixth role with this kind of technology, but if you're worried the actor's just cruising along Tinseltown with his unparalleled talent, we can assure you he's not.

In a recent interview with MTV News, Serkis said that despite all of his experience with CGI, there are definite differences among all the characters he's played and that each role presents a new challenge.

"You have to kind of treat it in your imagination as a live action shoot. You're not playing a digital character, you don't think, 'Oh well because I've played an ape before it's going to be treading old ground,' you know all these characters have hugely different personalities.”

Apes will rise this Friday, and you're going to want to be there to see it happen.

"Rise of the Planet of the Apes" already has some seriously strong critical buzz going for it, and having seen a preview screening of the movie earlier today I'd say that it's warranted. But if you still aren't sold on the second attempt at a "Planet of the Apes" reboot, Next Movie has five clips to whet your appetite for this weekends lesson on "evolution = revolution."

Snow WhiteA few years ago I explored the phenomenon of “dueling movies” -- a pair of flicks with the same subject matter that are developed and released by different studios almost simultaneously.

By that time, penguins, pigs, bugs, volcanoes, magicians, Scottish heroes and Truman Capote had all gotten the dueling movie treatment. Since then there have been more double-takes on screen: notable examples include films about shopping mall security guards (“Paul Blart: Mall Cop” and “Observe and Report” in 2009) and films about pals who have sex (“No Strings Attached” and “Friends With Benefits” in 2011).

And the trend continues. Universal Pictures and Relativity Media have been engaged in a wicked witch-style battle over little people lover Snow White. On the other end of the character spectrum, infamous porn star Linda Lovelace now has two teams fighting for her honor as well, with Malin Ackerman starring in one biopic scheduled for release in 2012 and Olivia Wilde expressing interest in another.

Russell BrandHere's a pairing that comes wonderfully out of left field: Russell Brand could star in Diablo Cody's directorial debut "Lamb of God."

The news comes at us courtesy of Twitch, who learned that Brand has been offered the lead in the flick and that "Footloose" star Julianne Hough is the top choice to play the movie's leading lady. "Lamb of God" tells the story of a young conservative religious woman who loses her faith and decides to go to Vegas and "live the life of a sinner," but ends up finding her faith along the way.
