A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, it seemed like the complete "Star Wars" collection would never make it to Blu-Ray. Fortunately that time has since passed, and now we are graced with a sweet new trailer for the Blu-Ray collection.
Have you been craving a healthy dose of "Star Wars"? Then you're in luck, because the Blu-Ray is jam-packed with over 40 hours of special features that includes a whole bunch of stuff you haven't seen before. George Lucas might have made his fans wait much too long for this collection, but at least he's delivering the goods now.
But despite how thrilled I am about all the special features in this set, I'm more looking forward to seeing how great the "Star Wars" movies look in high definition.
The trailer mostly teases the special content as opposed to the movies themselves, but it doesn't make any difference. It's the films that have maintained the popularity over the past four decades and they're what we fans are paying the big bucks to have in our video collections (again).
If you are a sucker for all that behind-the-scenes material, though, the trailer shows that there's going to be a lot of time spent looking at how the "Star Wars" movies were made. The CGI in both the original and the new trilogies play a big role in the films, so it will be interesting to get a more in-depth look at that content. And, of course, you should get excited for the promise of "never-before-seen footage."
