As if there was any doubt that he'd live up to his word, Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back.
Deadline reports that the former California governator is set to headline the Kim-ji-Woon-directed "The Last Stand," which he had left following his recent personal scandal. The Western is about a broken-down man who needs to make a moral decision about whether he should stand up for his town or not. The film starts shooting in September.

Michael Chiklis To Be Jason Statham's Nemesis
Deadline reports that "The Shield" star Michael Chiklis is the latest actor to join the Jason Statham thriller "Parker," starring as the film's villain. The flick is being directed by Taylor Hackford, and is based on the Donald E. Westlake book series. Jennifer Lopez is reportedly in talks to play the film's female lead.
"G.I. Joe 2: Cobra Strikes" Gets Its Villain
Ray Stevenson has joined John M. Chu's upcoming sequel, "G.I. Joe 2: Cobra Strikes," as villain Firefly, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Firefly is a member of the Joe's nemesis corporation, Cobra. The "Thor" actor is the latest in a string of new casting announcements for the film, including the additions of Adrianne Palicki, Elodie Yung, RZA and D.J. Cotrona.
Chris Hemsworth "Rush"es Into A New Role
In between his current filming of "Avengers" and upcoming commitment to "Thor 2," Chris Hemsworth is in talks to work on a new racing drama called "Rush." Deadline has the news, having learned that Hemsworth is negotiating to play the film's main character, real-life Formula One driver James Hunt. If he ends up taking the role, filming is set to start early next year.
Walter Goggins Joins Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln"
The casting announcements continue to come in for Steven Spielberg's upcoming biopic, "Lincoln." The latest comes from Deadline, who learned that Walter Goggins has been cast to play Ohio congressman Wells A. Hutchins, "a progressive Democrat who goes against his party and votes in favor of the Thirteenth Amendment to abolish slavery." Goggins will star alongside Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field and David Strathairn. Production is set to begin in the fall with an intended late 2012 release date.
